Discrimination against Deaf Customers. They also own Pleasant Paws Vet Clinic too in Lebanon. Bad taste of service and they only care for the rating stars than giving professional care.

Dr. Matt and his staff are the most caring, well-informed, and prepared vet team one could ask for. They have added joy to our lives by extending the quality and time we've had with our beloved pets.

Our 10 year old pit mix had her ACL repair today. They were Awesome! She is doing well. So anxious for her to feel like the pup she still is.

STAY AWAY from here!! I have been meaning to write this review for quite some time now and if I could give 0 stars I would. During Christmas of 2020 we had an unusual onset of symptoms with our 5 month old puppy. She had stopped eating and drinking water for 2 days however had perfectly normal energy levels. Our regular vets were booked solid when we tried to get in for that day so we resorted to calling a different vet at this location. With us being new pet owners we decided to go down the street to this place instead of rushing to an animal hospital which was a huge mistake. I couldn’t go into the office because of Covid reasons which I understand however when I was getting texts/calls on what was going on with our puppy it was extremely unsettling. The vet who saw her did an initial exam however did not do a temperature check, or complete a rectal exam for any bacterial issues. She then called us and stated our puppy was well hydrated but seemed to have some bloating/gas going on which lead them to wanting to take x rays. With us being nervous and not having a clue as to what was going on, we gave the okay. After taking x rays the vet then called us back stating there was no blockage seen in her tract however they couldn’t really tell. They then said they would like to keep her in their office the rest of the day putting her on fluids (even though they already said she was perfectly hydrated) and nausea medication to see if this would “clear things up”. They said that if nothing changes by the end of the day they wanted to keep her over night and open her up the next day to see if there was a blockage. We immediately pulled her out of this office and decided to feed her a bland diet and call our regular vets in the morning to get in for an appointment if someone had cancelled. The vet at this place said even though we can’t see a blockage there most likely is one and there’s a 40% chance she could actually pass it. They wrote us up a bill if we were to keep her there for the day and it was almost 800 dollars. I’m so thankful we pulled her out when we did because these people clearly are just trying to make money in any way possible. We were able to get into our vet down the street not even 24 hours later and after doing a proper exam of our puppy and looking at her x rays they said she had a very common bacterial infection that can be picked up anywhere outside or even when there’s a change in her environment (and with the holidays going on we were home more frequent than she was used to). They told us the x rays community pet took showed normal bowel movements and she had no bloating or blockages at all. Our puppy was put on a round of antibiotics and was back to her normal self days later. I just want all the new pet owners to know the scare and experience we had with this clinic and please trust your instincts when something just doesn’t seem right. I seriously cannot believe these people wanted to cut open our puppy without having any idea as to what was going on. Especially when it was something so incredibly basic like a bacterial infection. PLEASE go down the street to zionsville country vet clinic. They will give you the best care possible in this area and all of their vets know what they are doing.

Everyone is awesome! We have an older dog and they have taken great care of her from start to finish. She had surgery and they kept us updated thru the televet app and it was so reassuring. Since then we have had to followup with a different issue and they have been amazing! They even called and found the best and most inexpensive pharmacy for her medicine. Great place to take your doggies!! TOP NOTCH!!!!

We needed a new vet after moving to the area a few months ago, and Community Pet Healthcare was highly rated by our neighbors. We were already impressed by their insistence on positive reinforcement on our first visit - our fur baby was always nervous at vet visits and we had given the go ahead for if he needed to be muzzled for shots, but the team here used treats to calm him down and Dr. Quammen was able to do the exam and give necessary shots with no problem at all. Our dog went from being a “big baby” and “drama king” at our previous vet to “such a sweet boy” here under their care. He just had a dental procedure done and we received updates from Dr. Quammen throughout the day, and a check in even after we were home. These people are definitely experts in their field with lots of care and compassion for the pets and families they work with. Community Pet Healthcare is certainly the place to bring your beloved pets if they need a vet visit!

I would highly recommend Community Pet Healthcare for the care of your beloved pet. If you are like me and your pet is like family you should see the good people that work here. Dr. Cantrell and Dr. Quammen are amazing veterinarians and I truly believe they are the some of the best at what they do. Every RVT I encountered here was informative, compassionate and great with our dog and I always felt she was in the best hands when she was here. Debbie is also amazing and was always so calming and kind. She took the time to make sure all of my questions were answered and kept me from panicking on several occasions. Shortly after moving to Indiana my husband and I found a lump on our dog’s paw and had to find a vet quickly. We found CPH after a quick web search and are so glad we chose them. Our Bella was diagnosed with a soft tissue sarcoma and had to have her leg amputated and not only did they do an amazing job with the surgery and aftercare but I truly believe it was their quick diagnosis and action that gave us another 2 years with our beautiful girl. We would have loved longer with her but we are so thankful for that time. I really don’t know how you thank someone for an extra 2 years with the pet I loved so deeply and unconditionally but I will forever be grateful for their care and I’m sure you will be too.

Awesome place, Awesome people, Awesome care. We took our big dog in to have a glove removed from his stomach. The team was able to get him to remove the glove on his own. Saved big bucks, instead of surgery. Very caring and friendly staff. Lincoln luvs you guys. Thank you very much.

I brought my cat here after he'd eaten a piece of a toy. Our usual vet was closed due to COVID, so they sent me to Community Pet Healthcare. They got me in immediately, Dr. Q took the toy out surgically and we were on our way in a couple hours. I was so scared, so worried, imagining the worst, and they were so kind and supportive. Everything turned out great! I'm happy to report my kitty is happy and healthy! He's made a full recovery and is back to normal! Thank you!

Please do yourself a favor and contact the vet down the street instead (on the same road - 3 mins away - and when you call you get to speak to a human being!). The positive reviews for CPHC got me take our pet there initially, but our experience fell well short of those expectations.

My experiences have been fantastic every time I've talked to or been to their office. Matt and his staff are so kind, caring, considerate, and treat you and your pet w the utmost of care and what's best for you. Matt is extremely knowledgeable & works hard to understand your concerns & then communicate appropriately. He & his staff made a very difficult time as smooth a transition as possible and I thank them so much for their kindness! I've had experience w/ several vets & the experience they deliver far exceeds any other I've dealt with. Good good people!!

I bring all three of my fur babies to see Dr. Matt. The staff are always friendly and return my call promptly. Dr. Matt takes his time with us and is very thorough explaining things. We feel cared for and valued. This office is also involved in the community. We would highly recommend them.

Unfortunately my experience wasn’t as pleasant as all the others on the review. I couldn’t get past the front desk on Friday 7/19 5:30pm est From the reviews it sounds like the vets are great at what they do and are wonderful people. I’m new and from out of town in search of vet for my 9 year Boxer dog. As an animal lover , I want the best for my family member, in order to find the best you obviously have to begin with a few questions. What a mistake, for every question i asked I received a vague answer. The rebuttal was make an appointment? What about this ? Make an appointment What would the medicine cost? Make an appointment And the final response I received was we have to make money to pay the rent! So is the concern for the animal or to make money to pay the rent? Maybe it was the heat or the woman just wanted to go home. But if you truly don’t know , say you don’t know, and point me in the right direction. Needless to say I went down the street, first appointment free, information on health plans and prices.Alyssa at the other place was helpful and I can’t wait to write a review for her. Wow what a difference a half a mile makes.

This is a great clinic with excellent care and concern for pets. My dog responds positively to everyone there and acts like the vet and techs are covered in bacon grease she gives them so many kisses. Debbie is the greatest and would call her any day of the week with any concern regarding my pet.

I've been taking my dogs to Community Pet Healthcare for a few years and can honestly say this is the best veterinary office I've ever experienced. Dr. Cantrell and all the staff are friendly, knowledgable and offer the best care for pets. They genuinely care about the animals and their well-being. They even have followed up, just to check on how my pets are doing after a check-up! I'd give more than 5 stars if I could.

The staff at Community Pet Healthcare are wonderful! They truly care about your pets and remember each one. Dr. Cantrell is the most personable, helpful vet I've ever had! We recently moved and now travel 45 minutes so that our pets can still see Dr. Cantrell and his staff. Highly recommend!

This is not my vet, but when my vet wouldn’t answer the phone I called Community Pet Healthcare and got the NICEST, most helpful, patient woman I have ever spoken to. Totally put my mind at ease and gave me some tips to try with my puppy as she was having some digestion issues. I will definitely be switching to this vet immediately based on the care just the receptionist had. Thank you!!!

We really enjoyed our experience here! As soon as we walked in we were welcomed. Dr. Cantrell took the time to explain everything in detail and made sure to answer all of our questions. We appreciate his and the staff’s thoroughness. Your pets will be in good hands here!

We have 3 cats under Dr. Cantrell's care and have had nothing but positive experiences. We have moved around, and had 2 other vets who were good, but were not as thorough with explaining what was going on or as patient with the animals. He truly cares about the pets well-being. I recommend everyone take their pets here.

Fabulous clinic! Dr Cantrell has advanced education in physical therapy and rehabilitation for orthopedic and neurologic conditions which is very unique. Definitely helped my pooch recover and thrive after knee surgery. You and your companions will be treated with great care and patience by this friendly, knowledgeable, and innovative team.

We took our cat in on a Saturday morning due to an unexpected illness. The doctor and staff were exceptional! They got us in right away and made sure that we were comfortable and even helped our cat relax with some calming pheromones. We were also pleasantly surprised that the cost for treatment was very reasonable. Thank you Dr. Matt and staff!

Fear free vet experience to make your pets comfortable being there. I feel the prices are very fair and expect they are much more affordable than others in the area.

Dr. Cantrell and his staff are wonderful with out senior cat and robust German Shepherd. They are patient and answer all of questions using the most up to date guidelines and recommendations. They go out of their way to make sure our animals feel safe and relaxed at their visits. We are so fortunate to have them in our community!

They help Max feel amazing and loved his last couple of months. I would see them all over again and drive the 45 minutes all over again just to see that perfect dog smile.
