We were a historical client until recently. Called at 8 am on a weekday for help with a sudden and urgent illness with my dog. The office was unwilling to work us in without a scheduled appointment even though it was an extremely urgent illness (vomiting & bloody diarrhea). This is the second time in the last year this has happened. Two different pets; one with an urgent issue to diabetes and the second with a life or death gastrointestinal issue. We will NOT be a client any longer. They are fine for regularly scheduled checkups but no help or compassion in an emergency.

Arguably the fairest vet in town! Affordable. Reliable And not as greedy as the rest!

Friendly staff. Treated my puppy well. Reasonable prices and patient with all of my questions. I'm taking Chewy there again tomorrow to finish his last round of puppy shots.

Wonderful Doctors and staff!!! Lots of bang for your buck!! My German Shepherd thought he went to a day spa!! You can tell the people that work there enjoy what they do and my dog reflected the wonderful care he received, couldn't be happier!!!

I had to wait an hour past my appointment time.

I called in today and when someone finally answered I was put on hold for 20 mins then it disconnected, called back again and the same person answered the phone saying thank you for calling Latimer animal clinic can you please hold and put me on hold before I could say anything. I understand being busy but that was rude and very unprofessional.

Called today, because my Yorkie was not acting like normal. I have been a client before, so they are the vet I go to when my baby needs a doctor. I was told that the first appointment was June 22nd!!! I asked, since she is already a client of the vet, that I could get her in sooner since she wasn't well now? She told me that I hadn't been to them since 2018, as if that meant I wasn't important enough, or had spent enough money there to get a appointment for my sick dog. What kind of vet just leaves you with a sick dog and no appointment for a month? Latimer Animal Hospital, that's who. They should be ashamed.....

Friendly staff but if your animal is sick or in need of an appointment, they never have appointments available. Tried to make an appointment for my dog with an ear infection and was told they were scheduled out for "several weeks." We've been going to Latimer Animal Hospital for a couple of years now but will be looking elsewhere for vet services.

My dog was very sick. I had to take him to Jefferson animal hospital because they couldn’t get me in that day. I found out he had tumors all inside his body and cancer had taken over. I Brought him home w pain meds than the next day went here, since they are my vet to have him put to sleep ????????, he was suffering and in so much pain. They told me sorry we can’t do it till may. I than had to take him back to the hospital where fortunately I could tell they loved my pet like I do. No bedside manners whatsoever. Heartless

Terrible! Totally misdiagnosed my kitten. Had us putting in medicine that was expensive and DID NOT WORK! When medicine did not work, they had us buy more. When her eye got really bad we called for an emergency visit we were told they couldn’t get her in for a month with her eye ready to pop out of her head!!! Went to Shively Animal Clinic where they diagnosed her with a hole in her eye and told us that any Good vet should have caught it! The inside of her eye was trying to squeeze out through the hole. She had been in extreme pain this whole time. I’m sorry but this is an honest review. Today after spending 10 days applying eye drops on the hour, we received the news that it looks like her eye can be saved. Maybe if you’re just talking shots and stuff these folks are OK. I wish I was telling of them getting my kitty better. But value for the dollar here was nonexistent for me.

When you can get an appointment they are great but its hard to get in. I have had to take my pets to the hospital on more than one occasion due to lack of sick visits, which cost me a ton. Great vet, great staff, but they are way too busy.

Had a wonderful Covid experience at bringing the cat into the hospital. When I checked in, a technician came out and got the cat. Dr Latimer did the check up, and then cat was delivered back to the car. Dr. Latimer called me before I left the lot. There was no problem whatsoever.

Did a great job with my dog but the amount of things done on the prices side. May want to get pet insurance.

Absolutely love the staff at Latimer Animal Hospital! They were so friendly and welcoming during this crazy hectic time. The information clients receive upon arriving was clear and easy to follow. Pet parents weren’t allowed inside, but the lovely staff met us at our car to take in my pet! I felt like all my concerns were addressed, and not rushed. I also like that they schedule appointments online, and seem very up to date on technology. Dr. Latimer was extremely professional and friendly. Definitely made me feel like I could address any issues with him. I also love how they give quotes for service before I had to commit to procedures. Even better, when they give the report from the visit it’s dated exactly when you’ll need to come back for vaccines/preventatives! The price is what I would expect of a full-service stand alone vet. But better than office fees for vets I have been to in Jeffersonville. Can’t wait to be able to see the inside of the facility, because the outside looks gorgeous.

Dr. Latimer and his staff rock! He is always honest about what he believes is in everyone's best interests with regard to caring for your pet. Latimer is knowledgeable and affordable. Couldn't ask for a better vet for my girl.

This office is amazing! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr. Latimer is very kind, understanding, and doesn't come across as judgmental like some other vets can. He takes the time to address any questions or concerns you may have about your pet. Wait times aren't that long at all when you're there and they normally have a decent availability to get your pet seen in a timely manner. Can't recommend this place enough!

Dr. Latimer is very caring for his patients and their owners! The most caring vet I have ever been to!!! All of our family and friemds who have pets have changed to see Dr. Latimer. Not only is he very nice, but his office staff are as well!!

Felt very safe to visit even during covid. They come out to the parking lot, pick up your pet and then the vet calls you while you wait in your car. They bring your pet out alongside meds and paperwork- kind, prompt, and professional!

They never ha e openings , however they did call back rather quickly and had a list of other clinics you could send your pet too.

I just moved here from Illinois and i was recommended to Dr. Latimer from a family member and i am very pleased with the care and compassion the Dr has and also the staff was great..From the moment the phone was answered till the end where they brought my dog out to me in my car the level of professionalism was beyond my expectations!!
