I took a kitten I was fostering there and Sr. Calvert did the best she could do to save her but she did fight. Joey was a little less than a pound and gave it her all. After that she died at 4 am, when they called to see how she was doing we told her she passed and about a week later I got a letter on how sorry they were for my loss.

They are very attentive and accommodating. They even prescribe some natural medicines which have been awesome for my dog’s arthritis! Love this clinic.

Greedy. First time she saw my cat without examining her first she wanted to give her a shot in her arm and kill her. Then saw her almost ingrown claws from another vet not doing the full job only trimming some claws. And tells me oh here is the problem right here. Let me trim these for you.

The staff here is so helpful all of the time. I absolutely love this place and they're one of the best places. We brought my cat here for vet care and not chiropractic Care, and he was treated so well. Definitely the best place in Delaware county.

To say that I'm impressed would be an understatement. I was referred here by my human chiropractor because I mentioned to him that my cat needed a check up and I wanted to make sure he didn't have ringworm (long story...). I scheduled an appointment, went in, and they treated Sushi with a lot of care. When the doctor came in and first met him, she spent a moment just looking at his face, and I mean really LOOKING at him. I could see the care in her eyes and I knew that whatever she said was in the best interest of Sushi. They performed blood work, and ultra sound, and put him on some cardiac support chews for his heart after discovering he has heart disease. All in all, I would 100% recommend this place for cats AND dogs.

Staff was friendly and very interested in my little pet. I did a lot of research before taking my hedgehog in and the vet listened to everything I had to say. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to go with into the room but that didn't end up being the case. I was with my little buddy the entire time.

We took out 2 Shih Tzus there since 2009 but in the last couple of yrs it just seemed their care for my animals diminished. When my male became sick Bethel Animal Clinic diagnosed him. They said he could live with this enlarged heart but when they closed we moved to this place. We were happy at first but our male dog eventually progressed in his illness and we had him put to sleep. Our female was diagnosed with a thyroid problem in 2013 and by 2015 the dr took her off the pills. She was due for her annual check up so I made an appt. A few days before we noticed a rasp in her panting and then the night before her appt she had a seizure. All this was conveyed to the vet. They wanted to keep in order to get a urine sample run some blood work and X-rays. My husband went to go pick her up and she was clearly in distress!!! The vet we saw earlier was already gone for the day and my husband pleaded and begged for the other vet to help her but she was too busy with other patients!! They assured him she would be alright that she was just upset that they had to turn her upside down to do X-rays! My husband paid them there blood money of $500 and on the way home she died!!! Jewel was only 13 yrs old. This place murderec my baby!!! Take your baby to anywhere but here!!!!

Most of my life, my parents and I have taken our pets to Westview, but after the changes a few years ago I will not be taking my cat there anymore. I always had a feeling that some of the techs at the front desk did not care and did not really want to be there. One tech in particular has always been rude and condescending. She yelled at me for being 3 minutes late once. After a particular vet left 4 or 5 years ago (I believe it was) things went downhill. The vet that had already been there with the vet who moved just simply spoke to me as if I were stupid (I'm noticing that as a trend in other reviews). The new vet that came in just wanted to talk and acted as if she knew everything. I understand she is the person with the veterinary degree, but she would seem to act as if she knew my cats better than I. All of the previous statements would warrant a 2 or 3 star review. Their care was still pretty good. Here is why I am giving them 1 star: My cat died because of their negligence. He was very sick and they did not want to do a damn thing. I hate to seem ignorant, but I truly believe this is what happened. He was breathing VERY heavily all the time. We took him in 3 separate times in maybe 2 months because he wasn't getting any better with the medication they gave him. 2 of the 3 times (one visit with one vet, the other visit with the other vet), they said he was not breathing that strangely and said to me after I asked about it possibly being his heart, they both said that was not a cause... without even putting the stethoscope to his lungs or heart. Another problem he had was a rash he got every summer from having FIV. They kept giving him the same medication that was not working and simply asked if I wanted another bottle on the same visit that no stethoscope was used. I gave up. I took him to a different vet in Muncie a few weeks later. The stress of a new and unfamiliar place was making his breathing very dramatic. Once the vet (a WONDERFUL man by the way) came in, all hell broke loose. His lungs had that fluid sound in them, and he began digging at his mouth because he could not breathe. He was bleeding, drooling, and coughing up liquid everywhere. His tongue turned purple. The vet decided to give him a sedative. This way, we could see if he may just needed to calm down and get things back to normal. If not, he and I (as much as I could be at this point after crying the whole time) would be prepared to be put down. He was too far gone and the sedative killed him in less than a minute. The vet said he most likely went into cardiac arrest. He had a LOT of fluid on his lungs that should have been taken care of MONTHS ago. His heart was already experiencing a lot of stress and the rate at which it increased from being in a new place with a strange vet sent him over the edge. I will never ever ever ever ever ever ever go back to Westview.

99% of the time the revolving door of techs that seem to come and go here have a serious attitude problem, and are very condescending to the pet owner. If a pet owner comes in, and politely explains the pet is a senior over 10, isn't used to being away from me at all, you don't just start claiming you're a vet tech and an expert on vet laws, then try to throw a choker rope around his neck and start dragging him against his weight to the "back room", especially when the animal already has a harness on. Absolutely no reason the pet owner shouldn't be allowed in the room, I wasn't asking to perform any procedures, or use their equipment, but when my senior pet is not used to being handled by other people, I need to be in the room for his safety and comfort level. I've been to numerous vets in this county over 3 decades, and I have never encountered the pathetic amount of female attitude, unprofessionalism, and snarky talk towards the people who are paying their bills with the exorbitant cost. Simple nail trim? Pet owner can't even be in the room along with them, and $17 ??? Oh, and don't let me forget the time they decided to trim my pets nails without even asking, nor was it requested. This is hands down, the second worst veterinary practice I have ever taken a pet to in my life, and I am now looking for a new vet with a little more professionalism, manners, and compassion for the pet owners.
