My first time going here and I took a 4 week old kitten I had rescued to them because my normal vet couldn’t fit her in for a week. Her stomach was huge from worms, she had tons of ear mites, fleas, etc etc. Yhey ended up giving this 4 week old, underweight kitten Bravecto Plus topical for treatment of her fleas, ticks, worms. I had questioned it after the fact (since we can’t go in with covid) because she wasn’t close to the minimum weight and not even close to the minimum age for this to be given. They told me that she was a little young but the weight/ages on the box are just a recommendation. Well it was already given so that was that. A day or so later I’m am taking this kitten to a 24 hour emergency hospital for lethargy and open mouth breathing. The vet there had the list of medications East Bullitt had given her and she absolutely could not believe they gave her Bravecto plus. THEY LITERALLY ALMOST KILLED THIS KITTEN by giving her that medication because their vets are incompetent!!!! Fast forward to today when she had a check up with our normal vet in Mt Washington…. She also couldn’t believe they had given her Bravecto Plus, and couldn’t believe she was alive. Their treatment for ear mites didn’t work, nor did they actually really even clean her ears out decently and the Bravecto Plus topical treatment for fleas/ticks/roundworms/hookworms that literally almost killed her didn’t even treat the worms. She had to be treated again with oral medications. Maybe East Bullitt excels in other areas of vet care, but the incompetence when caring for kitten is astounding and I would caution anyone around rescuing kittens this young from going there.

They are awesome and have seen all my pets. They take good care of them and actually have great prices for a vet. 10/10 for me couldn't ask for a better vet. Even through in a deal when I needed my cats whole litter checked.

I’ll start by saying I never leave bad reviews. This experience was so bad, I felt I had to share. I scheduled an appointment with BOTH of my dogs at 4:30 for basic vaccines due to us boarding them next week etc. They told me on the phone they would come out to the car and give the vaccine. $18 each for the three year vaccine. Reasonable. AFTER AN HOUR of waiting in the parking lot with my 6 month old baby and two dogs they came out and expressed they only had me down for one dog. Regardless they said they would take both dogs. Great. The lady proceeded to take them both inside which I was not aware would be happening. While walking to the building she lost control of both dogs. They were loose in the front yard next to a busy highway. My daughter ran to help. The veterinarian came outside and began yelling at my 11yo daughter and questioning why there was two dogs. AFTER ANOTHER HOUR of waiting they called and said it would be $100 for the two vaccines because they charged me for wellness visits. Which I did not ask for nor was explained to me on the phone. Once they brought my dogs back out to me I looked at the paperwork and realized they gave the one year shots instead of the three year. Do yourself a favor and Go. Somewhere. Else.

We rescued our cat in August and had not made a decision on a Vet Clinic yet because Simba's shots were up to date and he was doing well. Last Friday when I got home from taking my daughter from school I looked at cat's eye and it had had a slight discharge and looked swollen and he was holding it closed. I Googled Vets and every one that I called was fully booked for the day and couldn't see him until Monday. Even an Animal Hospital. Finally I came across East Bullitt Animal Clinic and they could see him at 3:30 that day! By the time I took him he had more discharge and his eye wouldn't open. They informed me after testing with a dye that he had a Corneal Ulcer and his eye was infected. If I hadn't brought him for Vet care it could have ruptured and it would have resulted in loss of vision or an expensive surgery. They sent me home with pain relieving pills and antibiotic eye drops and a cone "E-Collar". They only charged $40 for the exam and the dye testing and medications were very reasonable. Today we took him for his follow-up appointment and they did another dye test for $25 and a $30 follow up fee. Their prices are very competitive compared to others I was given up to $175 just to be seen Monday. Thank you East Bullitt Animal Clinic for saving Simba from enduring more pain and both of us from a costly eye surgery or blindness if it got worse! They were extremely polite over the phone and in person and answered all of my questions as I was very worried. I probably called 5 times with questions! Needless to say we found a Vet Clinic for Simba and will be returning to get his shots updated etc.! I am greatful for the wonderful staff and Doctor and will be a customer for life! Don't think twice about coming here, you will definetly be pleased!

I love heather very good and knowledgable. But the girl that answers the phone which is the vets daughter is not friendly, knowledgable and really dont want her messing with my boy. She is not trained well at all with customer service and how she answers questions. Heather is pretty awesome. I like the clinic just tired of dealing with someone on the phone that doesnt know anything, and thinks she does. Train all your employees whether it is your daughter or not.

Very friendly staff. Stefanie, the vet is simply wonderful and caring with all my pets. Missy, my little princess loves her. I've taken all our pets there since she opened her doors. Would highly recommend Stephanie and her staff to everyone. Update 08/09/2018 While I still like Stephanie and her clinic, we've moved to a new vet. It was a tough decision for me but Stephanie simply priced her self out the door. While I know with overhead n cost of supplies and such one has to set their prices accordingly. But to keep adjusting your prices up and closing for days at a time I decided it was time to move on. Think Stephanie is a great vet, liked her staff and location, but I have a budget I have to live by. Our new vet stays busy the entire time their opened, yet often doesn't charge an office visit even for a quick exam or an update of vaccinations. Stephanie charged an office visit every single time even if all our fur babies were in to be examined, given meds, shots, etc.. In fairness to East Bullit, nothing but positive things to say. Just got a little to pricey for my tastes.
