Milford Animal Hospital Milford, Indiana

I contacted the Milford Animal Hospital this morning just after 8am requesting an appointment because by dog had been bitten by another. I was told they were busy but a technician would call be back within the half hour. After waiting for 45 minutes I called back and was told the technician would contact me shortly. Now over 5 hours later I have not yet received a callback. l subsequently contacted another Vet and was seen within 30 minutes. Not only did they not call back, they lost a new patient.

My husband and and I started taking our pets here when our dog was dying. The staff was amazing and made us feel comforted during such a difficult time. They offered us every solution to us to keep him as comfortable as possible knowing we were trying to let him die at home on his own. Doctors are knowledgeable, kind, patient, and compassionate. And the fees are very reasonable. Overall, we’ve been more than happy with this practice!

They have been very helpful with my kitties. I have some "don't care for people" kitties and they are very patient with them, getting results when others didn't.

Excellent care with kind people who really care about animals. I recommend this vet to everyone.

I cant say enough about Milford Animal Hospital. In every way I was impressed. They were caring, attentive, responsive, professional and went out of their way to help my sick aging cat. They have great follow up and I cant say enough about all the wonderful staff. Dr. Mullaly rocked it as the Vet! This is our new Vet Office for life!

My cat was very ill and they got her in the same day and figured out what was going on. They basically saved her vision! Dr. Sluyter is the best vet ever!

I love Dr Sluyter, She treats my dogs very well. Always approaches them with her hand out. Answers all my questions and lays out the options.

Brought my pup there after reading great reviews and they could not have been more welcoming and nicer. It's clean and their protocols are great considering the current circumstances. Happy to be taking my dog there.

First time there the vet and tech didn’t administer puppy shots. They made us come back the next day. Poor communication among their staff, they said. When we transferred, we missed our vet appointment because we asked for emailed records 48 hours ahead and faxed records 24 hours ahead and neither were received.

They were very friendly and my mom's terrified pitbull felt at ease.

They do pet pedi's!! All 4 of these little lovies got their nails trimmed in just a few minutes!!!

We are new to this Vet office with a new puppy; randomly choose this office based on research and reviews. The staff and the doctor have been wonderful! So far I am very happy with the doctor, staff and cost of services.

Have used them for 40 years. A Great! place and excellent people. Miss the old vet but the new ones are excellent.

I took my senior dog, for the 1st time too Milford animal hospital, to get some serious help with his skin, and ears. The staff was Friendly kind and compassionate. Dr. Sluyter went over and above the expected service to care for my sweet dog and we will continue going back.

I don't usually post reviews, but do need to share our poor experience. Our dog was quite sick and despite 3 days at this clinic, she didn't recover until seeing another vet. Milford Animal Hospital was hard to deal with. It was like having to pull info from the doctors and techs as to what should be done. We went from our dog requiring liquids by IV to being fine to the possible next step of exploratory surgery which did not provide trust in the guidance. On top of it, fees were extremely high (hundreds of dollars) with no positive outcome. Eventually we took our dog to another vet who in 45 min diagnosed the situation, gave us medicine and in 24 hours, the dog was feeling better. I would avoid this animal hospital based on our own experience.

what a thoughtful, thorough, caring job Dr Mullaly did under Covid circumstances whike treating our cat, I look forward to when everyone is vaccinated and we can visit with our cats, face-to-face! ????

Solved my dogs allergy problem that was missed by two other vets. Poor pupper suffered with ear problems for years until I found these guys. One visit to treat his infected ears then diagnosed with allergies on follow up visit. Now his brother and him get their allergy shots periodically but they are no longer miserable! Thank you doc!

So impressed with Milford Animal Hospital! Everyone I dealt with was very nice. Dr Foster is wonderful and kept me well informed. We discussed my cat’s issues and agreed on a plan of action. Extremely happy with my new vet ❤️
