Dr. Kaptain gives my boy the best service and was quick to schedule him for any follow ups needed from his yearly check up. I drive 30 minutes to get to this vet and it is 1000% worth it.

The appointment was on time. My dog was comfortable with the way they handled her and did not resist the treatment. I have used County Animal Hospital for years and this sort of treatment is the same every visit. I highly recommend them for treatment of your pet(s).

Dr. Kaptan is the best! Our dog had suffered for years wit recurrent ear infections and skin infections and itching. One visit and all of those symptoms improved dramatically. We've been with him for about 10 months now and we have a happy, energetic dog. The staff is so friendly and helpful and the vet techs are knowledgeable and obviously LOVE animas and it shows

Dr Kaptan has always been there for us and our pets. Helping us with everything from normal annual visits to helping us with food allergies and recently a very serious surgery. We really appreciate the help he is always willing to give.

SEVERAL times now we've relied on Dr. Smith to help our animals, and he's easily one of the best. He's brought a kitten back from the brink, and saved one of our elderly dogs. The facility itself is designed for ease, comfort, and to make things easy. I don't recommend anyone more than County Animal Hospital.

County Animal Hospital has always provided excellent veterinary care to our animals. We would not go any place else. We think the world of Doctors Smith, Kaptan and Shelle.

They are a little pricier than some other vets in the area, but they are very thorough and you get a high level of service. It is usually easy to get a same day appt if needed.

They were amazing.. we couldn't go in with our girl but they called and kept us informed the entire time!!!

Everyone at County Animal Hospital were kind and courteous. They helped us through a difficult time when our normal vet let us down. If I ever have another furbaby, I will drive the extra miles to Mason.

great place for your pets

???? WARNING: Do not use this vet!!! I took a perfectly healthy kitten in for a routine spay in the morning. She had been in my care for weeks and was doing fabulous. I picked her up in the evening and was told there may have been a minor complication during surgery, but that it was no big deal, no explanation as to what went wrong. The vet suggested it may have been just a "broken capillary". This kitten went downhill fast, it was obvious she was STRUGGLING to breath and struggling to LIVE. She is still receiving breathing treatments, oxygen, antibiotics, and still has a fever. She has made numerous visits to another local vet and hospital. Her trachea was damaged. Should she become healthy enough to undergo another surgery, she will need a repairative surgery to correct the spay - her abdomen has opened underneath the top layer of skin. Again, I brought in a perfectly healthy, happy kitten and left with one in critical condition. County knew something went wrong but downplayed it, sent her home unwell, and didn't check on her. I am not addressing this with this vet, using this vet for her further care, or stepping foot there ever again. This review is to warn others as I would HATE for this to happen to another pet due to their carelessness!!

I've been going here for 31 years. They are gentle and kind. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for! I recommend Dr. Smith and his team to anyone who wants to know their pets are in good hands.

We have been going to County Animal Hospital for many years and love the care our dogs receive. All of the doctors and staff are compassionate. Earlier this year they saved our dog, Loki, after he was hit by a car. If it weren’t for their care and advice, I really don’t think he would have survived. I am so grateful to County!

Dr. Kaptan is the best and we are fairly picky regarding veterinarians. Nothing but good things to say.

I needed a service as a breeder that many beers don't provide, but they had a vet that could do it. Unfortunately, not within the time frame was I needed but it is good to know that they have all kinds of specialties.

Staff very friendly, easy to talk to and very helpful. Went there to meet a very nice rescue dog. My first time there.
