Great and awesome staff I took my dog in covered in matts and they perfectly removed them also the people who work there are excellent this is my second time taking him and I’m sure we’ll be back because we have tried other groomers but i feel as if this is the best one !

Terrible experience. We took our sweet but grumpy shitzu, Mia, to get groomed here. They took our dog and gave her the worst haircut I have ever seen . A toddler could do better . It made my girlfriend cry. I would not recommend taking your doggies here. I can assure you your doggies deserve better. Shut this place down

Horrible experience. We used to love Poe’s and recommend them often for grooming. When I picked my dog up from being groomed. I upgraded to the seasonal package. When I picked up dogs up one was completely shaved, smelled like vomit and her foot was bleeding. I paid over $200 to get my dog back smelling terrible and bleeding. Gave the owner more than a week to respond. She wouldn’t return my calls. She had an employee call and offer a $20 discount. We will never be back to such an unsafe uncaring business.

10/10 do not recommend. Especially the way employees treat their customers. If my baby came home with a cut they wouldn’t want me up in the store cause I’d be swinging. ✌️

I wouldn't even give it one star! I cancelled my grooming appointment with notice and they tried to charge me $10.00 extra dollars because i wouldn't have my dog groomed when he was sick vomiting. An unprofessional business in the time of covid not to err on the side of caution to other animals. Should be more understanding and curtious.

Very helpful, my son has been wanting a rat recently and Poe's was the only place in the area that had any! the staff was very kind and helpful. its close and convenient to get everything you need for your small pets cages, bedding, toys etc. Everything was awesome will be coming back for sure highly recommend.

We take our kittens there to get their nails trimmed. They are so good with them. And very fast!

Always have what I need, friendly staff and good prices. Although some new workers need to be shown how to handle and obtain exotic/reptile food (ie crickets and mice)

I cannot say enough good things about Poe’s! Our great pyr/st Bernard baby girl, Dixie absolutely loves going here for her grooming! She is super fluffy and her undercoat requires a lot of work and they always do an excellent job. They are so kind and loving with her and have excellent customer service. If you are looking for a new groomer, look no further. We have tried multiple places in Louisville and Poe’s is simply the best.

When I called asking if they had bunny’s it was a yes then when we got there everyone was nice and so were the animals the bunny I got is sweet and adorable

ONE OF MY FAVORITE STORES NOW!!! They feed their animals high quality food, store is clean, and priced responsibly! I got my first hamster here and staff are knowlagable! I have a cadge with 480sq inches of floor space and they recommended me to spot clean. From now on I'm always doing research, but if you have a question the staff will try their best to help. Hamster was super healthy and wasn't nippy or timid, and it's not even 12 hours! They really take care of their animals, and the Cadges their in are just temporary Cadges so that's why they might look bland.
