Justin has forever changed the way we live! We could not be happier with how our dogs have improved. We have two female pit bulls who are 4 and 5 years old. Knowing the reputation that is perceived by most people we were determined to have the most well behaved dogs and be confident that we can work to change this narrative. Justin and Jordan welcomed the challenge that we offered. One of our girls was extremely hard headed,it was her way or the highway. She has an amazing personality and we wanted that to be what showed instead of the latter. Our lives have done a full 180! Our hard headed girl is now obedient. She still has her sweet loving personality but even more fun to walk and take on adventures. We now Enjoy walks instead of dreading going out in public and being scared to see other dogs, we welcome these encounters and our girls handle each one with ease. We could not be more proud of them. We don’t have to apologize to others, instead we have been complimented with how well behaved they are. If you are considering training with Justin we HIGHLY recommend doing so. Justin is an excellent dog trainer, but an even better human trainer! He set high expectations but was readily available for any questions or concerns between private training sessions. I loved that he recognized our dog's potential and engagement and worked with us to accomplish as much as possible in our sessions. He is easy to communicate with, flexible, and professional. Since starting training we've been able to successfully take our dog hiking, camping, kayaking, and have him safely off leash.

I wish I could give more stars. The at-home training was a wonderful experience. I felt I needed training more than Wilson, my 6 month old puppy. Justin is a phenomenal trainer! Wilson knows all basic commands and no longer pulls on the leash. This was the best learning experience. I highly suggest Justin and his service to anyone with a pup!

Justin was patient with “me” as we worked to train our recent rescue dog. He explained why some activities were beneficial and others were not. He helped me go through the process of socializing our dog and also training him to walk appropriately on a leash. We continue to use his advice on a daily basis. He has a good sense of humor. Justin, trainer and owner, helped me train my dogs with a solid off leash recall. He was professional and reliable, like you'd want from any business, but most importantly he was great with the dogs and helped teach *US* how to handle them. It has been so helpful getting extra training for my husband and myself so we know how to effectively communicate with and manage our dogs. This is the part that has helped us maintain and continue to improve with their off-leash recalls. He answered all my (numerous) questions in a knowledgeable but kind manner. He never made either of us feel stupid when we were struggling with the new skills we were learning. K9 Trainology is also a great value when compared with other skilled trainers in the area. If you want a dog who is the companion of your dreams, look no further than Justin at K9 trainology. My son blessed our busy home with a loveable four legged terror named Apollo. He promised to take perfect care of him. Walk him, feed him, train him, bring him up right. Much to my surprise, that did not happen. (I'm joking. Age old story, very predictable outcome.) Apollo did not speak our language, nor did we speak his. He had many bad habits that I simply had no idea how to correct. I dropped him off with Justin and in two weeks he transformed him into the perfect companion. He was great at communicating with us with pictures, videos and updates throughout the two weeks. When we picked him up, he supplied us with the knowledge and material we would need to continue Apollo's success. It was not an easy decision for us to make. I will admit it is rather costly but listen when I tell you, it is worth every penny. He's happier, I'm happier and the home is happier.

Justin agreed to working with my almost 4 month old Australian Shepherd as I really didn't have any idea how to begin training a puppy. He trained with my puppy, Jasper for 2 weeks "Board and Train" and Jasper learned the manners, commands and basic puppy training that he needed. Justin took my puppy into his home like a member of his family and trained him to become the well-mannered dog that he was meant to be. I would have been lost without Justin's expertise. His communications with me were quick and thorough and he helped me believe in myself so that I can develop the confidence I need to help Jasper become confident and secure. Plus, Justin relates so well to dogs and their owners and encouraged me to ask the many questions that will continue to come up.

I can't say enough positive things about Justin. He is truly amazing with dogs! He taught our very hyper yellow lab, Molly (did I mention she is 80 pounds) manners and I cannot thank him enough. Molly not only will come and sit when I tell her to, when I open the door, she will wait to me to go through the door and will stay in a waiting position until I release her. I have been able to do the same thing for going up and down my stairs. Prior to the training, she would almost knock me over each time I went down the stairs. In addition, she would counter surf constantly and chew everything in the house. After training, she never jumps on the counter and she only plays with her toys. If she does pick up something that is not hers, I just give a command and she drops it immediately. We are able to enjoy our dog so much more after Justin trained her. I would highly recommend Justin to train your dog! He is amazing.

I am very pleased with the results of my Labrador. She is responding very well at home! Very thankful for Justin and all the work he did.

We worked with Justin to help our 4 month old learn some manners and basic commands. We scheduled 4 at home one-hour sessions and were so happy with the results! Very black and white, small commands have great results! He gave us the tools to keep him from barking, running away, jumping up and even trained him on our electric fence. Our dog has been transformed from his time at K9 Trainology with his trainer, Justin. We did the two week board and train. Overall, he is much calmer and consistently listens. He is now a pleasure to take on a walk-no pulling and the ability to heel has come in handy in several situations. He will also stay in place when there is high activity in the house or someone comes to the door. A well behaved pet-totally worth the investment. We are so thankful for the time and love Justin showed our dog.

Working with Justin has been amazing for our dog, Kona. We've been seeing him for a little over a month now and he's taught us so much on how to properly train and learn from our dog! We started working with Justin to help with our rescue Pit Bull Tux who has some big behavior issues. He was the first trainer we have used that focused on fixing the behavior and not on redirecting the problem through obedience only. Tux has major dog aggression and we have, in only a month of work, been able to be around other dogs in a group setting. I would definitely recommend K9 Trainology and have to a friend already.

I couldn’t be happier with my experience with K9 trainology! I started with private training with Justin shortly after adopting a 4 month old sweet, but stubborn pitty mix. I was amazed how much she learned in the very first session and has continued to progress every week. Justin is really training you as the owner to be consistent and firm with your commands, and to patiently build on small steps, using praise and rewards to get to the desired behavior. In addition to the individual training, we also attend group training, where you get the opportunity to practice your dog’s skills in a safe and friendly environment, but with the distractions of other dogs and people. Also it’s just a complete blast! Dogs of every breed from small terrier mixes to Great Danes are working on their leash manners, remaining in stay with other dogs distracting them, and learning to meet other dogs and people calmly. Justin brings his dog Lucy, who’s a total rock star, to demonstrate exercises and show what your dog can become with the right training. Justin works hard to taylor your dog’s training to it’s personality and your goals, but with all his clients, his ultimate goal is to strengthen the bond between you and your pet and give you a calm and confident dog that you can you can enjoy being with in any situation, parks, social events, traveling, and in your home as a beloved family member!

We highly recommend Justin at K9 Trainology! We’ve used several dog trainers in the past and we won’t look any further. Justin is excellent with both dogs AND people. Our fur baby did great during her personal two week training and went from wild to tame. I can’t wait for future group training sessions and to see how she progresses even more at home. We had an amazing experience with K9 Trainology! Justin was very professional, knowledgeable and accommodating to our needs! Our dog, Diesel, had troubles growling at people, pulling when on a leash and not obeying basic commands.
