Dr Courtney Bennet and her HeartsEase establishment made a difficult task tolerable and meaningful. She provides support during your pet's last illness, and comes to your home to provide euthanasia for your pet companion,so that your pet can remain in its own surroundings, with the people and perhaps other animals that it loves. She is so very kind, thoughtful, considerate, and understands how to make you comfortable in the situation, lets you have the experience you want, helps your animal slip away pain free, surrounded by love. Dr Bennet and her office assistant Cori answer questions honestly, provide information needed, and answer phone calls and emails promptly. If you are considering at home euthanasia for your pet, please consider Dr.Bennet.

Dr. Bennett provided a peaceful and pain free passing for my senior dog in the comfort of her own bed. Dr. Bennett tailors her service to meet the individual needs of your pet. She was incredibly understanding and compassionate. I would definitely recommend for anyone needing hospice or end of life service for their pet.

Dr Bennett and Care Coordinator, Cori are wonderful people who provide so much help to families who have reached the difficult decision to ease the passing of beloved pets. I am a professional therapist and I found Dr Bennett to be as fine a grief counselor as any psychologist that I know. Heart’s Ease staff respond to your needs quickly and professionally, and explain every step that they will be taking. It was such a gift to us to be able to allow our Charlie to lie in our arms in the comfort of our home as he passed. There was no fear and no pain. They then go one step further and offer continued grief support. Heart’s Ease made a painful situation bearable. We are so grateful.

I want to give so much praise to Dr. Bennett and the Care Coordinator, Cori. When I found this service, it was one of the hardest calls I have had to make. Cori answered the phone and from the get go was so kind and compassionate. She walked me through the process and helped me schedule a time and day for our home euthanasia without making me feel rushed. We received an email shortly after scheduling our appointment with a very detailed and comforting description of what to expect for the appointment, and that was not expected but very much appreciated. When Dr. Bennett showed up the day of the appointment (on time and with a phone call when she was on her way) she had a very calm and nice presence. I have a daughter (7 years old), and immediately Dr. Bennett made her feel so comfortable. The Dr. walked us through every step of the way and really created a calm and comforting environment. I cannot recommend them more.

Dr. Bennett and her team have been absolutely wonderful at getting everything scheduled, keeping open communication, and the day of activities for our in home euthanasia. The experience provided during such a difficult time made Heart’s Ease the best choice and everything was done with kindness and compassion.

Everyone here is so amazing and caring. I had to put my 17 year old kitty down with them. They walked me through every step and helped me anytime I would call. Made the process better for my family.

We called to see if they could provide at home euthanasia for our dog. They were booked that but we didn't want our dog to suffer and without asking, Heart's Ease pointed us to their website where they have a list of additional vets that do at home euthanasia and I was able to find someone with availability that day. Above and beyond!

I'm not one to just give any service company a five star review, but there are exceptions to every rule!!! When the time comes that you have to say goodbye to your fur family then Heart Ease is who to use. The caring and compassion this group has is UNMATCHED!!!

Dr. Peckham gave our beloved girl Bella a compassionate death in our home surrounded by her loved ones. The whole experience, from the initial contact to the home visit, was full of sympathy and kindness. I don't think I will ever do another in-clinic euthanasia if possible; This was the best end I could have given such a wonderful dog.

Dr. Bennett came to the house to put down our family's 13 year old golden retriever. It was the first time I had gone through this and I didn't really know what to expect. She was intuitive and empathetic. She knew when to listen and when I needed privacy. She said all the things anyone going through this experience needs to hear. She made something that I had put off for too long because it was such an obscenely difficult thing to do go so smoothly and simply that I regretted not doing it sooner.

This was the absolute best way to euthanize my little Ethel. She always trembled going into the vet’s office. Dr. Bennett was so kind and so compassionate. My sweet dog died very peacefully and with no trauma! I am very greateful.

If you are reading these reviews, then you are undoubtedly having to make some serious decisions. Dr.Bennett was essential in helping us make the most of the time we had left with our sweet tabby, Moki. Dr.Bennett is the perfect conduit between compassion and medicine. As difficult as it was, she made Moki and our final journey together perfect. We had time to make Moki comfortable in her final days and moments.

Dr Peckham came to our home today to help our 15 year old Husky’s peaceful journey to heaven. She could not have been more gentle and compassionate at this difficult time. She was simply excellent. We have had other dogs pass in a vet’s office. This was SO much better and Dr Peckham was certainly part of the reason.

Dr. Bennett is one of the most amazing humans I've ever known. She is kind, gentle, and so understanding. She supported our family through all of our Buster's ups and downs and I feel confident in knowing he received the very best end of life care. I highly recommend Heart's Ease.

There are not enough words to describe how amazing this company is and how great the vets who work here are. Dr. Bennett is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met and you can tell she cares about the pets she comes into contact with. There is nothing that can prepare us for this moment with our pets but Hearts Ease really made me feel like I did something good for my cat. She passed in the most pain free, dignified way she could have. For that I am grateful. Please don’t hesitate to use this company, you absolutely will not regret it.

If you are reading this you probably have some hard decisions to make and for that I am sorry. Earlier this year we used Hearts Ease for our senior dog. Predictably our second dog did not last the rest of the year without her brother. They were a unit, have been together all thier lives and are now back together again. We have experience with both Dr's and they are both comforting, professional and experienced. What a blessing to have this service available for our loves. Loosing our pets is hard but we gave them the very best senarios of crossing. They were surrounded by their loved ones in the comfort of their home. A professional was present to help ease their pain and the pain of their humans. If only we all can be so lucky when the time comes.

The doctor who performed the in home euthanasia (Dr Bennett) was amazing and made sure our dog was at absolute ease and comfort before the end, and made sure we understood and were comfortable with every step at the procedure. Incredibly caring and professional staff.

Dr. Cook was amazing. We had to say goodbye to my cat, Lola, on Monday. She was sick and went downhill very quickly. Dr. Cook was able to make an emergency visit so she didn’t have to suffer overnight. When he arrived, he immediately gave her a shot of painkiller and anti-nausea medicine so that we could be more comfortable taking our time saying goodbye knowing that her suffering was minimized. He spoke very softly, gently, and deliberately, explaining each step of the process clearly. He was patient with us, and made us feel comfortable. Despite it being an emergency visit, we never once felt rushed. He made it possible for Lola to say goodbye in the most dignified way possible, at home, in my arms, surrounded by the people who loved her. When she was gone, he brought in a Moses basket, and tucked her in with a swaddling blanket, and allowed me to carry her out to his car to be taken away to be cremated. As hard as it was to say goodbye to my little girl, Dr. Cook gave us the best possible experience. We will be forever grateful.

I cannot express how professional, kind and compassionate Dr. Bennett was with our family and sweet dog! We had him put down in his favorite spot in our yard and she was great explaining every step of the journey!

We recently had to say a painful goodbye to our beloved family member, Mickey (dog), and we took a recommendation to have Heart's Ease provide his euthanasia in the comfort of his own home. While nothing can make the timing of the decision easier, Dr. Cook did everything possible to ensure his comfort (and ours) throughout the process. Mickey avoided the undue stress of a car ride, or the possible anxiety of being at the vet; instead, he remained comfortably resting on his pillow in our bed, surrounded by his plush "friends" and his family. Today, five days after Mickey's passing, Heart's Ease (working with Faithful Companions cremation services) returned Mickey's ashes to us along with a collection of his paw prints, nose prints, and fur clippings -- additional orders that may or may not suit you but options we are extremely grateful to have been given. Additionally, Heart's Ease provides additional resources for coping with the loss, including their own monthly pet loss support group at no additional charge. We haven't had the opportunity to attend as it is a week in the future, but we appreciate knowing that resource is available. At one of the worst moments in our lives, Heart's Ease was the most wonderful resource we could have.

I cannot thank Dr. Bennett enough for all that she did for us. She helped our beloved Loki cross the rainbow bridge at home while he slept in his favorite place in the sun. It was peaceful and comforting. She took such gentle care of him and us throughout the process and gave us great comfort and sympathy. Thank you, Dr. Bennett.

We had to put my dog Dasher down last week and I have to say, this was the best way to deal with a really hard situation. Dr. Bennett was wonderful in coordinating and helping me understand when the "right" time was, through the use of a very thoughtful questionnaire and a number of promptly returned phone calls. Dr. Cooks demeanor and reverence for the situation, when the time came, was amazing. He was gentle, clear and everyone was so understanding and compassionate.

This was an extremely hard thing for us to do and everything they did was above and beyond. There was so much thought and care. She talked us through every step and was so compassionate. I can’t imagine going through this experience any other way. I loved having this happen in a non stressful environment in our home and she was really great at putting us all at ease.

Dr. Bennett changed her schedule around today in order to help my family say goodbye to our sweet Tommy, though she'd never met us before. I was overwhelmed by her compassion and empathy, and I couldn't have asked for a more fitting end for my sweet boy. I simply can't say enough about this service, and this doctor.

The kindness and respect Nathaniel gave to me, my husband, and my beloved Tucker helped us all so much. He treated my good boy with care, gentle hands and kind words. I cannot thank you enough for making this as bearable as possible.
