My boxer Boss and I give Dogtopia a 10!! They care about the animals -they spoil Boss and are very compassionate. All of the employees show a true love of their jobs. I drop Boss off and I am most confident that he will be well taken care of.

If you live in the Louisville area, this is where you should take your dog. Not only does your dog have the time of their life while they’re there, but the staff treats your dog like family. We have been taking our pup here for months and have never had an issue.

We had a family wedding in Louisville. We are from Michigan. I called several weeks ahead to make a reservation to do the meet and greet, and have our Jack Russell stay at this facility. They let me know she would need all her "required shots". Neglecting to mention that THEY REQUIRE a FLU vaccine. They explain it's something you would have to ask for as the flu vaccine is NOT a required shot. When we arrived they made no exceptions, no other option. We called other places but were unable to get in on such short notice. So, we drove all the way down and were UNABLE TO ATTEND OUR WEDDING! Thanks 5 star DOGTOPIA! (heavy sarcasm)

Belle is always excited on her Dogtopia days to get there and hang out with her friends! At 11, she doesn't run and play with rest of them but she monitors all the others and soaks up all the attention and love from the humans who always seems just as excited to see her as she is to get there. I always know she's in good hands when we board her there for travel and all the staff is very good about answering any questions or calling me with any concerns. I feel like they are very invested in making sure the Dogtopia experience is a very positive one.

The staff are wonderful, friendly, and they love the dogs that come for daycare and boarding. We've had nothing but a great experience for our lab/gsp mix in the big dog room.

Our golden doodle, Arnold, always has the best time at dogtopia and comes home from daycare exhausted and sleeps all night long. The workers at dogtopia have always been very generous, sincere, and professional. We have taken him in for daycare super last minute and they’re always so accommodating. I also love we can watch him on the cameras in the app throughout the day to check in on him!

I have nothing but praise for Dogtopia. My Aussie, Jasper, has only stayed in daycare twice as we just did out Meet and Greet yesterday, but I feel so happy that Jasper has new friends both human and canine to help him enjoy his puppy years. The front desk women are so warm, welcoming, informative and helpful. Once I figure out how to access the webcam I will often check in to see how Jasper is doing. He has come home both days tired and happy. Dogtopia is able to give my dog the activity and nurturing he needs to help him feel confident and full of life. I do the best I can do with my Aussie pup, but know that he needs more playtime and exercise with his friends here. Thank you for being so welcoming and kind to both me and Jasper. Dogtopia has been a game changer for my exuberant and social puppy! They are all so nice there and love my pup. I like being able to check him out on the Webcam and see how much fun he's having and how the room attendants interact with him and all the dogs. Knowing he's in a safe environment with professionals is super comforting for this dog mom!

My dog was injured while at Dogtopia. The staff could not explain how it occurred. The staff then proceeded to make up other excuses as to what might have happened (either you know or you don’t). The staff was very rude when I dropped my dog off and when I picked him up. Im so disappointed- this place has always been great in the past… What has happened? What happened to the fun loving staff that I had became a custom to?

I left my pair of my labs for the first time and was quite nervous since I've never used daycare for my dogs. I can say, the staff are incredibly friendly and they communicate everything I needed while I was away. The place is also very clean and comfortable and they separate the dogs by size which is a great idea. The camera's are incredibly reassuring so I'm able to see my dogs during my trip via my phone. I'm a huge stickler and yet Dogtopia exceeded my expectations. I can assure you that any poor review was based on the poor behavior of the dog and the owner's lack of responsibility. Dogtopia makes me feel that the business places the safety of the dogs and staff a higher priority than anything else. First time leaving a review and I can say it's well deserved. Will be back next time for my upcoming trip!

I just moved to Louisville and started sending my pup to Dogtopia for two weeks (3 days a week). The first couple days I was worried because I saw on the webcams that he had been crated almost every time I checked. I called and was assured that he was crated because he was having some issues jumping and not responding to social cues from other dogs, which is normal in a puppy when they are new to daycare and are going through a move to a new city. I was assured I would receive a call if there were serious issues. The next couple days I noticed more of the same, and I called to discuss it again, because I was having to take my dog to the dog park after working a 12 hour shift and after he had spent 10 of those hours at daycare. I was again assured that they were keeping a close eye on him, that they expected him to adjust, and that I would be notified if there were any real issues. This week I received a voicemail that my dog has been dismissed from daycare, at 6:30pm, with no real notice to work out other options for care for my dog when I had work the next day. The reason being that my dog had jumped up on an employee and chipped their tooth. I think as an active breed and also a 1 year old young dog, I might go a little crazy and jump around if I was crated the better part of a 10 hour day too. So the communication of the business and value of the experience was certainly lacking. I wouldn’t have paid so much if I had known my dog was just going to be crated all day. Would not recommend.

Started taking my puppy there a few months ago and what a great place! The first few trips I was checking the webcams constantly (such a cool feature!) But now I'm so comfortable with the staff I only check occasionally for fun. This place is a must for dog lovers!

Everyone at Dogtopia was super kind and understanding! It was our first time dropping off our dog. We are going on vacation in a few months and were looking for a place to kennel him for our time gone. Sydney & Josie were some of the great employees that helped us! They explained how everything would work and also gave us a breakdown of how everything would go. Highly recommend they really go above and beyond to make sure your dog has a good time, and you have peace of mind about your furry family member.
