BEST VETERINARY HOSPITAL AND CLINIC IN LOUISVILLE!!! Let me just say, I never write reviews but I am compelled to scream from the rooftops how GREAT this vet office is after yet another visit and reminder of how they stand above the rest! I can't say enough about the care, compassion and empathy that Dr Robertson and her staff have shown me and my pets over the years. My furry friends have had several ailments that other "big vet clinics" in Louisville (you probably all know the ones I'm talking about) either misdiagnosed or flatly refused to treat. In stepped Dr Robertson and her team of incredibly talented doctors and staff. They kindly took the time to truly understand my concerns, appropriately diagnose the issue and walk through treatment options. Unlike other clinics that make you wait hours and then spend two minutes with you, spending the entire time with their head in a clipboard; the wonderful people at Bannon Woods take their time to explain everything and are so very kind to my pups while doing so. From my understanding it is a family run business but the amenities and state of the art medical devices/tools they have are second to none and compare to, if not surpass, any large city vet chain I've been to in the past. "Cutting edge care" tucked away in a country setting in Fairdale. I've since moved far away from the practice but will never go to another vet office. I now drive 40 minutes from Prospect to visit Bannon Woods. If you love your fur children, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO! Pictured is my pup Teddy after his latest check up.

Bannon Woods is the BEST animal hospital in Louisville. They are knowledgeable, explain things in a way they customers can easily understand what is recommended, why, and the cost. I've never experienced so much one-on-one attention with a vet. They give better explanations than when I visit my personnal doctor. On top of that, they understand the financial needs of customers and are very affordable & flexible. It's rare to get such top notch service at a fair price. I would recommend to anyone who cares about their pet to go here first. They are the absolute best!

Man a hidden gem a really great place

Bannon Woods has fantastic doctors and service. They may be a little expensive, but thats due to their use of the most up-to-date procedures and equipment. They were able to grab a set of digital xrays from my senior dogs, without having to risk unnecessary anesthesia. They have no problem going over the details of blood work and discussing options. I highly recommend them.

Have a wonderful Cane Corso Zeus and we brought him to Bannon woods and extremely pleased with the care and kindness of the nurses and Dr. Glad we made the decision to trust them with the care of my fur monster thanks for everything

I wasn't 100% thrilled with this place. Felt very Rushed and wasn't even able to address any concerns I had with my furbabies to the Vet. In fact, I NEVER even saw a Veterinarian, just an Aide that came and put us in one room and gathered my dogs off to another then returned them after everything was done. They even miss spelled my dog's name then acted like it was No Big Deal when I asked for the Paperwork to be corrected. His name is Poncho not Honcho. Sad part is they had a copy of his past records that Clearly has his Name printed on it and the correct spelling. Yes we were seen faster than we would have been at Shively Animal Clinic and Hospital, but I know at least there they would have taken the time to get my babies name right and talk to me about them.

Dr. Smith was wonderful with my friend's choking horse. I stayed to help while my friend went to work and she was excellent! Very easy going, patient, and knowledgeable. She took her time to really do things right, but got routine stuff done quickly and efficiently. Not afraid to get horse gastric gunk in her mouth! ????

Facility was really clean, all works were good about their masks and very nice. The doctor was super nice and helpful as were the lady's at the front desk. They took great care of my animal and were quick to the step to help you and grt your animal in to be seen. I will strongly recommend this place.

Best vets office I have ever been to! They have chiropractic, pt, grooming, I love that they see all animals. They really helped my little yorkie feel better, they took care care of us both!

This was our first time at this vet with our new puppy. Absolutely love they are very informative and reasonable on prices.

Really nice set-up. Didn't make me wait. Met me in back area& got my horse inside out of heat quick. Very nice group of people. Answered any questions I had, not rushing me. Indoor stalls if I wanted to use. Grass area out back I was able to let my horse graze when finished& waiting for friend horse to finish up. Little pricey for teeth floating. Shots pretty average.

Best Veterinary in the area. Very caring, super friendly. Prices are comparable to others in the area, sometimes even lower.

A little off the beaten path but a very nice facility with knowledgeable and experienced equine veterinarians. Highly recommended.

Fast nice and helpful fair cost. Need to put something at the up to say they are all the way back there in the of the area. I think wood help with more ppl know they back there. See horses too! big horse stable and field

I absolutely love bringing my fur babies here. Everyone is always so nice and extremely helpful. And they take great care of my babies.

One outstanding please, got everyone up in the middle of the night because my mare got stuck in my horse trailer, I thought she broke her leg,got Angel here to the vet, with the help of some wonderful ladies, got Angel out and in the office got my stallion out 2 because he had gotten hut pretty good in Tennessee , they took care of both my horse's, only had a small amount of money, because some awesome truck drivers helped me out with money to help cover their vet bills, because I was broke, those vet's went above and beyond, to take EXCELLENT care of my horse's, , thank you all four the care you all have given my stallion (the Gray 1) ( Ramsay) and my mare (the Bay 1)( Angel ) Happy holidays with much thanks from owner DeeDea Ross

I left Dr. Stone from Shepherdsville Animal Hospital due to he didn't treat my Sadie infection serious and almost died so I turned to Bannon Woods and they let me come to them when my dog was near death and saved my Sadies life. Dr. Robertson and staff are incredible and truly care about your fur babies. They treat all animals.

Haven't seen it since the big remodel and it is awesome! It's so wonderful that we now have a place in town for equine surgery. The entire staff is very friendly and helpful.
