This doctor is one of the best doctors around! I would definitely recommend him to everyone I know.

I took my dog, it was the closest place open when she was having her emergent need - the door was locked and the tech was rude and took for ever to get me back, we get into room and they start to look at her, and the first thing was to draw blood the vet tech was bit by Lucy and so the tech decided she didn’t want anything else to do with us (work place hazard, and sick dog - go figure) anyway the lab work too forever, while Dr Tran was awaiting the lab work he would pop back in and I would tell him my dog is swelling, and it’s getting worse - finally after the 3rd time telling him I believe this to be an allergic reaction he finally gave my baby Epi along with another antihistamine for the reaction - guess what she was getting better almost instantly. Needless to say after this was over, the result of blood came back and her liver enzymes were slightly elevated - not knowing this was an holistic approach he came back with 3 herbal supplements to give me dog to rid her of toxins. Now I’m not against that, and my dog seems to be OK after she got the proper care, it’s been since Friday. But the slow response, and tech made my experience not a good one, plus the cost was crazy for what little they did. At the end of the day I was lucky to take my baby home, and I am trying the herbal support - but I wouldn’t go back.

Animal Emergency Center is the reason my cat passed away! They did not perform a thorough exam and therefore misdiagnosed my furbaby with asthma when he, in fact, had Dilated Cardiomyopathy. Jaxson was not yet three years old. We had always been a very healthy cat. Less than twelve hours before he passed away (out of nowhere) he started having serious issues breathing, we was drooling, lethargic, wouldn’t eat or drink, and was hiding (he loved being with people). We rushed him to Animal Emergency Center (around 11 pm) because we prefer to work more with Eastern medicine and medical care. Dr. Tran did not do a thorough exam on Jaxson. He did not do blood work to rule out other causes. He did not listen to Jaxson’s heart, or he would have heard the fluid blinding up around it. He kept trying to listen to his lungs but as our regular vet said, “There is NO WAY he could hear his lungs with all of that fluid in there!!!” Why didn’t he do an x-ray, just to be 100% sure about what was going on???!! He did not check his lymph nodes or abdomen!! That is 101 of vet care! Dr. Tran sent us home with two bottles of essential oils to help with his “asthma attack”. Which if he was having still, why on earth would he send us home with him still having an attack?! Well, he wasn’t having an asthma attack, he was drowning in his fluids. Minute by minute more and more fluid built up around his lungs and his heart. I kept using the oils, putting my trust in Dr. Tran and his vet tech. Obviously, nothing was working. The next morning we took Jaxson to our vet when they reopened (at 7 am). We had to drop him off because they wanted to give him as much oxygen as possible and he needed round the clock medical care. They ran a bunch of test/blood work and did an x-ray. At first, our vet thought that Jaxson either had heart disease or a mass. He had a clot in his leg because his heart wasn’t working correctly. He also had a massive amount of fluids in his lungs. He's was given oxygen & injections to help. This was when our vet said that there is no way to tell if he had asthma because the fluids in his lungs and around his heart were too vast to see/hear anything else. After 4 hours our vet said there wasn’t more she could do, it was now a “waiting game”. We had to monitor him 24/7 until he was out of the woods. Well, he never made it out of the woods. He died in the car on the way home. We were devastated and in complete shock! In less than 12 hours our sweet baby went from being healthy to dead! This could have likely been prevented if Dr. Tran has done his job and properly cared for my pet. DO NOT GO TO ANIMAL EMERGENCY CENTER!! Their lack of care and attention killed my Jaxson.

The dog was having kidney problems and needed antibiotics, we were offered cbd oil and a cleaner. Seriously. And paid almost 300 for that unhelpful advice. Was finally able to get into regular vet and got antibiotics, nutritional supplements iv fluids for less than 100 bucks.

They were so sweet to me and my guinea pig and took such good care of us when he had a seizure emergency. I highly recommend them if you are having a veterinary emergency

Our cat had lost his stomach hair due to a severe allergy to several insects. Previous treatment at other vet clinics did not help him. Since I started Dr. Tran‘s treatment protocol with herbal allergy support and cannabinoid tincture in July 2021 our cat‘s hair is returning and he doesn’t constantly itch/bite himself. What a relief. Thank you ????

Dr. Tran is amazing. The nurse that helps him (sorry I forgot her name) is a blessing. Will never go anywhere else for emergency pet care. Been there 2 times for my elderly cat. Both times have been amazingly positive experiences.

Heads up, this is a holistic clinic so they do not have traditional western pharmaceuticals. I took my dog in late at night on a weekend because he tore his paw open and they immediately took him into emergency surgery. They did a very good job with the procedure and you could tell they really care about the animal's well being. They even stayed past the normal closing time (2 am) to make sure we were taken care of. If you are okay with a holistic clinic, this is the place to go

Excellent place to take your pet. We were desperate because our puppy swallowed a hair scrunchy and we had gone to the Jefferson Emergency Clinic and they told us to wait, I will never take my puppy there again. Did you know that after 2 hours it's almost sure that your pet is going to need surgery? Thanks God we went to see Dr. Tran, he is an angel and saved our puppy from surgery. I highly recommend it. Thank you very much Doctor for being so professional and acting quickly.

I called cause I had a cat with something lodged in air throat. Cat coughed whatever it was & didn't need to go to hospital. But the hospital cared enough to call back next day to ask about my cat.

I took my cat Millie here after she injested some toxic plants. I was recommended this facility from the ASPCA Poison Control Line. I was hoping to leave the facility feeling as though I had taken every step to help my cat and I left feeling horrible and that I had worsened her chances. I had a very negative experince and so did my cat. I explained the to the doctor what had happened. I had to hold her down on the table with the vet and an assistant for 5 minutes as she howled and cried. We couldnt get the IV to stay and we had to inject her forcefully multiple times to give her fluids. I was yelled at that I wasn't holding her correctly but I had never done this before. My cat this morning is swollen and sore and terrified and I dont think shes doing any better. Ive had to take her to an additional vet hopsital to seek care. This was probably the worst I've ever felt as a pet owner.

They took my injured dog in at midnight and sutured her deep lacerations received in an incident with another dog. They monitored her condition, took great care of her, and helped me to understand how I would care for her during recovery. Very kind, efficient and made our scary situation more manageable. Highly recommend!

Superior late night option especially for geriatric cat & dog consults. No frills, noninvasive, holistic remedies including trademarked oils & tinctures.

Vet prescribed us a cannabinoid and "Noni Juice" (along with the antibiotic) for our cat with a UTI. Both are basically essential oils- we paid roughly $60+ for these "prescriptions" you can get over the counter. The offices had stains all along the walls that looked like dirt, urine, and/or feces. When we asked what we should do if the antibiotics for our cat didn't work, the vet said, and I quote, "we will shave her stomach and rub essential oil on her." I am beyond angry with this location- do your pet a favor and go elsewhere.

I was on the line with these for almost an hour and ended up just calling another emergency animal center. Turns out my dog was overdosing. I'm glad I hung up on them and called another animal hospital.

Great service for both my cat and dog during sick times. Dr Tran explained everything in detail about the animals and once gave me a wonderful topical to keep infection out of a cut.
