Wea Animal Hospital is the BEST place to take your beloved pets. Everyone is FANTASTIC and VERY caring. We absolutely love them! We will never take our pets to anyone else. We went here for the first time over four years ago when our male cat got sick and had to have surgery. They are very professional, they have great love for what they do AND show nothing but kindness to us and love for our animals just as we do! Thank you all for all you do for our loved ones!❤️????????

I cannot say enough nice things about Dr. Jewell and the care she provides. I met her originally at Purdue University and when I found out that she was working locally, I immediately transferred all care of my pets to Wea. Dr. Jewell has done so much for my kiddos in and outside of the clinic. She has gone above and beyond for me and my family and I can’t thank her enough. When my dog was going down in her hind end, she saw her immediately. When we needed to see a specialist, she ensured we could get as much testing done prior as possible. When we didn’t get the answers we were hoping for, and ultimately decided the best decision for our girl was to euthanize, she came to our house after a stressful day at the clinic to put my sweet girl to sleep in the comfort of her home. Anytime my cat is having a flare up of his stomatitis, she sees him as soon as she can. Veterinary medicine has taken a huge hit of entitled people who think they can yell & scream & throw a fit and they will get their way. This has caused an extreme decrease in mental health in the veterinary world. Despite the negatively surrounding vet med, Wea Animal Hospital does everything within their power to provide excellent care while also preserving staff mental health & morale.

Not going to sit on the fence with this review. WEA is my animal care service of choice. Holle, my cat, is a senior cat who developed concerning symptoms. The staff was reassuring on the phone, responsive by providing an appointment for timely care and thorough in the workup. They were consultative regarding the treatment plan, so I could chose a logical and affordable course of evaluation and management. Holle received a procedure and is thriving post-recovery. I received understandable education about her health issue. Of course, I will return for her care.

We’ve taken our dog, Jammie, to Wea multiple times since we adopted him and have had the most positive experiences. The staff is well trained and informed. They explain things in ways that the average person can understand. They are honest about cost and also responsive, getting back to us in a reasonable amount of time. The facilities are always clean. And they are great about reducing Jammie’s anxiety. We’ve seen both Dr. Bair and Dr. Jewell and love them both!

We took our new rescue dog in who had kennel cough and the care and service was excellent. We have called to speak with a vet a couple of times since then and they have been super helpful every time.

Thank you too Dr. Bair for saving my Rocket Kitty's life. My cat decided to eat lots of hair ties. Because of this he became very sick. I called 1st thing Monday morning and told them what was going on. They got him right in and did an xray and seen that the hair ties had caused a blockage. Dr. Bair informed me that Rocket was going to need emergency surgery to remove the hair ties. If it wasn't for Dr. Bair my fur baby wouldn't be here. Thank you all so much for saving his life and giving us many more years with him.

Dr. Jewell is on of the most caring vets I have ever worked with. It was so obvious that she deeply cared about my pet and my family. I would never take my pet anywhere else in Lafayette!

WEA is a great place to take your pets. They are very caring and will go out of their way to help your pet the best they can. My cat is "extra spicy" so they talked with me before her appointment to help streamline the visit so it was as stress free an experience as possible for her while maximizing the visit to get everything done in the timeframe my cat gave them to work with.

I can't say enough positive things about Wea Animal Hospital and everyone who works there. When my elderly golden, Jasmine, stopped responding to chemo for her lymphoma and we made the decision to say goodbye to her, they got me in immediately, and the empathy and care they took with me, my family, and Jasmine was absolutely amazing and made the experience peaceful and absolutely what I needed for such a hard day. I have another dog recently diagnosed with cancer and he's been having a rough time with treatment, and they have always been there for me, and flawlessly work with his oncologist to ensure his health is of utmost importance. I have always been able to talk to someone or get one of my dogs in, any time my crazy dog mom self is concerned, and the doctors listen to everything I ask and answer all my questions. And trust me, I'm there a LOT with four dogs and a cat that constantly try to kill me with stress over their antics. I trust Dr Jewell, Dr Bair, and all the rest of the staff at Wea 100% with my animals, and I very highly recommend them for anyone who's looking for a place that treats your pet just like family.

Poor customer service and very rude. I’ve saw them arguing with people over other reviews via facebook. Highly unprofessional.

This place is very unprofessional and only care about money instead of hurt pets. They discriminate certain breeds ans won’t assist you if it’s not in their liking. Do not recommend taking your pet here.

We have used a few different vets in town over the years, but finding Dr. Jewell has been fantastic, we will never use anyone else while shes practicing here. Vet visits can be stressful, not only for the animals but for the pet parents as well. We love this practice because we know they are doing everything in their power to make sure our beloved pets are taken care of. Dr. Jewell is the best vet I've ever had, she treats our animals like they were her own. We went through a difficult time with one of our dogs recently, and Wea/Dr. Jewell helped to make a very hard experience just a little easier, and I will always be grateful for that.

I took my dog in at 730 in the morning when there were no other customers present. My dog was in need of stitches and was turned away. They said they are appointment only and not taking any new pets. Please change your name because you have no business calling yourself a hospital when you are turning pets away. The front staff lacked any empathy, gave no referral to whom could provide care, and never even looked at the pet. Don’t trust your pet with people that are cold and uncaring!

Just took my baby Lady there and the staff is so kind and professional. My dog has been chewing her feet almost raw and they explain every possibility as to why she may be doing it. Gave her medicine, the vaccines she needed and shots to relieve the itchiness. I’ll definitely be taking her there again for her check ups and my other dog as well. Lady is very scared of people but she didn’t try to growl or bite the doctor. Can’t expressed how pleased and happy I am to see my dog get the treatment she needed and deserved. Pricing is very reasonable as well.

Called the facility to ask how much would it cost to get a cat sedated and trimmed. Told me $108 and $25 to update his rabies shot. Went to pick him up they told $235. They failed to tell me since he is a new animal to the clinic they have to do a physical. Told the receptionist that they did not tell me that information and I still had to pay the $235 after the receptionist went to talk to whoever. They did do a good job trimming him.
