On my first visit the vet questioned me about my dog and acted like I did not know anything about the breed. On my second visit, I was there to get his three week booster shots, after having been in there 3 weeks earlier and having an examination they proceeded to do one on him even though I said I did not want them to. They charged me an exam fee because they said they did not have the staff and said “that is just how we do it here.” They want to tell you that your animal needs every vaccine and procedure under the sun to make some money.

They are amazing with my girl! She hates the feeling of the surface.of the tables, but they make sure she is comfortable and feels safe. Dr. Ford is wonderful, so gentle and gives the animals lots of praise during the visit.

I love this VCA location! The front desk and vet tech staff are lovely and kind. We see Dr. Chandler and she's always been extremely gentle with our pets and thoroughly walked us through her recommendations. Their care plans are particularly great for older pets!

When there asked specifically for ear inspection for my cat, they performed some other inspection and then told me it will cost extra for ear inspection. At that point I just want get it over with and complied. 1. Get charged extra around 100 dollars for a service I did not ask for 2.I followed their instruction and applied medicine for more than a month now. The ear mite issue still exist. They suck.

I was told I needed to come in and do a fecal test to make sure very thing was ok after some side effects from a medication my puppy had taken. I get there and the vet says “we don’t do fecal tests this soon after taking this medication, so we won’t be doing that today.” Seemed a little bit like they may have just wanted to make money off the situation by recommending I come in for an appointment. I had also previously called in and asked whether or not this medication she had been taking could cause loss of appetite. I was put in the phone with a tech and they informed me that, that was not a side effect. But then at the vet visit the vet said “loss of appetite can be common with this med as it’s an antibiotic and can upset the stomach.” Overall haven’t been super happy with the care that I’ve received there. They appear a little stuck up and not very friendly.

Save your time. They don’t set expectations for your appointment. I had an appointment to have my dog seen, I’ve brought my daughter with me. Prior to the appointment they never explained that there was a one person rule going in, had I had known I would’ve had my husband take off work and bring the dog in. They offered curbside but I explain to them that that wasn’t going to work because he could be a little aggressive around people he doesn’t know who are poking and prodding him. I then asked if I could schedule an appointment for later that day so my husband can come bring him back so he can be seen and then they told me that I would have to pay even more money to have him seen on a double booking because they failed to tell us what was required for him to be seen. I live 35 minutes away. The rule isn’t what upsets me, it’s that they couldn’t set expectations and tell people what was necessary to be seen because had I had known that I could’ve prepared differently and my dog could be seen for a problem then he’s been having. Do better

I am unimpressed with the knowledge of the veterinarians; however, this place is inexpensive, so we use them to refill prescriptions. The vets, vet techs/nurses, and staff are exceptionally kind. Edit to address the response from the owner: I have no additional concerns; I've just had other veterinarians impress me with their knowledge, ability to listen, and ability to relate information. Your vets seem up to par; I'm just not overwhelmed.

They got Daisy in right away since she had an argument with her Cat brother and was clawed in defense. Thank you all!

The staff here have been amazing. They really work with me and my dog, who doesn't particularly like being at the vet. She is hard to handle, but they don't treat me or my dog badly because of this. They realize it's just a personality quirk she has and roll with it. I love the way they know what's going on every time I call, even if it's been awhile. I highly recommend this facility.

I have taken my puppies their for 9 years to have dewclaws removed and tails docked which has to be done within three days of birth. They could have let me know that I would need to find another vet to do this instead of leaving me hanging with new puppies. My daughter took her puppies in for dewclaw removal and they missed three dewclaws on three different puppies. I recently took one of my older dogs there ( which they have cared for for 9 years) because she had a sore spot on her neck and they told me she has a fast spreading cancer. However they also gave me a quote to have her teeth cleaned and some removed for $1800.00. Now why would we do dental work on a dog with fast moving cancer? Months later she is fine. Loved this place before they changed ownership.

So far I am very pleased! We took our new pup, Auggie, in for his very first doctor visit. It sounds like he charmed the heck out of the staff LOL I loved how efficiently they handled the curbside service, and even though the doc and I only spoke by phone, I felt very reassured by their skill and competency! I am somewhat obsessive about researching things I don't know, and I look for credible sources of information, from nationally accredited organizations and schools. So hearing the doctor saying things that echoed what I'd read, and totally willing to address any questions or confusion I had, really impressed the heck out of me. I didn't feel the least bit rushed, and I felt like every person I dealt with wanted nothing but the best for my furry four-footed lovebug! Auggie came home a little sleepy from all the activity and his shots, napped a bit, and was back to his usual exuberant self in a few hours. We heaped love and attention on him before and after his visit, and I have high hopes this will help him feel comfortable with future visits! We signed up for the care club, which I think is worth every penny if you can swing it. And we were emailed an offer for emergency insurance that I decided to opt-in for as well. I didn't feel pressured, which helped me make my decision. And with a beagle puppy, who is really just a giant nose with a stomach, I feel much better knowing that if there IS an emergency, paying for it won't have to be part of our decision making process. I'm about to call later this morning to make an appointment for our rescue kitty, next. She's going to need a bit more concentrated vetting, due to her history, but I am confident these folks are well up to the task! 10/10 would definitely go again! LOL

Twice now this hospital has treated my cat so well. Even during the pandemic, they were the only clinic i called that gave me an immediate answer and told me to come in. Treated my cats extreme fever and the second we got home he is doing amazing. All the workers are ALWAYS so sweet and kind. Hard to come by these days. It’s worth the price.

We took our very senior cat to VCA around a year ago. He was really sick and we wanted to see if there was any sort of hospice care/medication we could give him to make him more comfortable. The service we received was reasonably good if a little expensive but we didn't have any major issues. Our cat ended up passing away a month or so later and we've done our best to move on from that. The reason for the two star review is that VCA will now not stop emailing and mailing us about our dead cat. We have tried unsubscribing and replying to their email politely asking they stop but the reminders just keep coming! We shouldn't have to call the office to stop receiving reminders. Our cat isn't due for a checkup! HE'S DEAD.

The staff is wonderful. At my Rose’s end of life, they were so caring. They treated her for 17 years, which was several years past her predicted dog life span. The staff is very knowledgeable and price is higher than most but it’s worth it.

Dr. Ford is awesome! I have never had such a good vet in my entire life! My dog not only looks forward to going to the vet but Dr. Ford explains everything that she did and always tells you her honest opinion and doesn’t try to milk you for every penny. I literally won’t take my dog anywhere else as long as I live here.

I’ve been a loyal customer to this business for years. I’ve just realized how corrupt they are. They almost killed my cat and gave her multiple dangerous medications that she didn’t need that made her worse.. all so they could get as much money as possible. I took her to a different vet and they had me take her off all the dangerous medication and she got better. This place charged me almost 2,000$ in less than a month. They have been reported to the licensing board/attorney general and there will be media coverage in order to help deter people from falling victim to this scam organization.

This place was awesome! I will for sure be returning for all future vet needs! My baby hasn’t been feeling well and they were so warm and welcoming to him! They treated him with the best care. I watched as they took him in and could see them comforting him! Made me feel at ease. The doctor also helped me find the cheapest options in my budget and helped me to be able to afford what was best for my dog!! Totally recommend this place. Also i have called so many times with questions and they never make me feel like a bother. I apologized for calling so many times with so many questions and she laughed and said that’s what we are here for we are open till 8 feel free to call again! So sweet thank you all!

I had to prepare my trip with my cat to Korea. In the beginning, everything seemed really vague and didn't know a single thing about the procedure. (Taking a pet overseas requires about two months prep.) Dr. Drake was able to sort everything out for me! She never hesitated to answer all my complicated questions and ran through the process one by one. The service was awesome, and now with VCAs help, I can travel to Korea with my cat ❤️

seem like nice people who want to help your animal, but could not tell me what was wrong with my cat after we already paid them $1,000. if your animal is dying, they only want to help them after they get the most money possible from you. my baby ended up passing and we were never able to find out what was wrong with him

We had a great experience today. We had never been to VCA, but they were pretty much the only vet open due to Covid-19. We did have a bit of a wait, but I was just thankful they fit us in on the same day. The staff were polite and the vet was very compassionate and explained everything to us in detail. We found our new vet! Thank you VCA!

I adopted my very first rescue pup about a month ago. I am extremely happy with my experience and having my pup get checked by Dr. D’ Angelo and the staff. My pup had an emergency and the staff and doctors did not hesitate to take care of my little pup right away and answer my questions and concerns with no hesitation. Thankfully, everything got resolved and he is doing extremely good! I am so glad I chose VCA. I can trust them 100% with My pup Kimba and his health! Thank you so much!! I’m more than grateful.

My dog had a hematoma in his ear I was told if I got the cheaper surgery more likely it would come back so I chose to pick the more expensive surgery ($700) with a guarantee it would not come back within a month it's back and bigger then the 1st time, i just took him back in now all they want to do is monitor it and see if it goes away on its own or if it pops I have to repeat the surgery

I had to bring my cat into VCA when he began to have trouble breathing and Dr. Miller was quick to assess him and educate me on what was going on and my options. I ended up having to put my baby down very suddenly that day, but the doctor was very kind, yet up front with me about the process and allowed me to hold him the whole time and have time alone with him. I only dock stars off my review for the fact hat I felt blackmailed after I had left. I am very aware that the hospital has to make money and I have no problem paying them for their services, but the first receptionist who left me a message and who I spoke to phrased her spiel to sound like I had to pay my $600 bill in full before they would even send my baby boy to the crematory, so the day after his death I was stuck with the image of my precious Clark lying in the hospital freezer until I "paid up". I called back the following day to make our payment in full to find out that Clark had already been sent for cremation and was returned. Phrasing is so very important when dealing with such a sensitive situation and I'd just wished that the topic of payment had been breached in a better way. I do not know who the VCA Animal Hospital has serviced in the past who refused to pay them for their services, but I must urge all staff to remember that not all people are like that.... and making it sound like you'll hold my baby boy's body as a ransom for my money is not the way to go about it. In addition to Dr. Miller, however, the other receptionist/nurse I spoke with did a FANTASTIC job. I forget her name, but she is the perky-voiced blonde one for lack of a better description. Thank you so much for your kind words and recognition of the the weight of the situation for me. I hope you continue to be a little beacon of comfort and light to other customers <3

Extremely disappointed with the way we’ve been treated as if the only care we were given was the money out of our pockets. We have spent a lot of money for surgery and told many different stories/answers on what we would be charged. We feel the concern is not with the health of our fur babies but only the money they want for services provided. We will now find another vet/hospital to take care of our animals.
