Adopting a puppy was a bit overwhelming, and I needed help. The vet tech recommended Stepping Stone. So glad they did! The Puppy Steps class taught both of us so much, and helped to socialize her. The report cards & videos are so informative & help with continued training at home. The staff is SUPER & always answer any questions. You can tell how much they care. I was so happy with the training, I enrolled her in the Milestone class too. She turns 1 in a few weeks and is an absolute delight. Couldn’t have gotten thru the first year with all their support, knowledge, and especially kindness.

Due to a disagreement with the Previous owner within entirely different dog, we are being refused service for our 8 month old German Shepherd Pup. We had our differences with her and we were ready to give them another chance. Rather than working with us and finding out themselves, they chose to believe someone who is not even employed there. We believe in second chances, apparently they do not.!

Stepping Stone helped our dog, Sam, tremendously. When we brought him home from the shelter he had a lot of undesirable behaviors. He would nip and mouth us. We could not eat food with him around -- he would grab, lunge, howl, anything to get it. Julie and the Stepping Stone trainers, Hailey and Sarah, worked wonders with his obedience and self-control. They worked with him in day school (he did 4 weeks in the milestone program) and taught us how to work on his behaviors at home. We are so happy and so is Sam. Total transformation from stray dog to house dog. Stepping Stone's services are effective, affordable, and professional. Sam is a lucky dog to have had the chance to train with them! Thank you Stepping Stone!!!

Stepping Stone has been wonderful with our new pup. She's enrolled in the puppy classes and has learned so much. We so appreciate everyone that has been involved with training our girl. I highly recommend Stepping Stone Animal Training to all pet owners.

Words can't describe how amazing Stepping Stone is! Julie and her team are top notch and are so amazing! My puppy Kya was enrolled in the P103 class and would have been starting in the milestone course today but is no longer with us. But with her time in the P103 class she was improving exponentially and she had manners! a lil husky with manners shows a lot. Definitely take the time and see Julie and her team if your puppy needs some training if you follow through with the trainings and take the time at home to continue to practice with your pup they will soar! I love all that Julie and her team have done. Thank you so much for helping our Kya gain some manners while she was with us!

Stepping Stone has been absolutely crucial in getting my wild child (dog) under control. She's made huge progress in so many areas and completely cut out constant barking. The staff are great, provide awesome reports/videos every day and best of all she loves going there.

I am very very happy with Stepping stone. Julie is teaching the life class 1 we are in and I have already noticed a difference after 2 days of day school and 2 classes. I look forward to finish the rest and continue see our boy improve. We have learned a lot about the best way to train him and communicate, thankfully because we thought there was nothing else to do for him.

Everyone at Stepping Stone is awesome! They really do care about increasing the quality of life for your pet by lowering their feelings of stress and anxiety. I would never take my dog anywhere else to get trained or groomed, and I've learned so much about proper training techniques that I can use at home!

We have two Bernedoodle puppies and have enrolled them at Stepping Stone. In just two visits to Day School with the amazing Hailey Sweet, our puppies are already on the road towards becoming well-trained dogs. Julie and her team are true experts! What a great investment to enable these two rascals to grow up to be well behaved and lovable members of our family!

Julie and My min-pin Rupert (2 1/2 yrs) had an hour consultation for future day-school and potty training. He loved her and was excited about the doggie smells and toys at the location. I paid for my first day of pet schooling. He attended all day, from 7-5pm. He has definitely changed for the better and he and I have learned some new techniques. I received positive feedback from Hailey about Rupert's good behavior. .

I have two Wheaten Terriers that are notorious for barking and jumping when the door bell rings. They went nuts if it rang and then jumped all over whoever came in. I had tried two other dog trainers in the past with no luck. Then I tried Julie. She gave us so much information on how to work with them and came out and worked with them herself. It was very successful. She was so informative and noticed so many things that I hadn't noticed before. She is very easy to work with and has so much knowledge in training dogs. She taught us simple things like how to get a dog to take a treat easily and not its your finger off plus others.. I am still working with my dogs and know that if I need her she is available.. I will say that if you do your part, Julie will make sure you are successful. I couldn't praise her more,

Julie and Hailey have been amazing working with out dog. We have a GSD with social anxiety. We had thought we were doing a good job getting him socialized but he started to get stressed out and bark at other people and dogs. The progress he has made since starting with them as been both amazing and heartwarming. He's attended about 7-8 day schools and has shown a huge improvement when encountering people on walks now. He no longer starts barking and pulling at the leash to rush them. And it's always nice to see the videos they email of his progress in class. Can't wait to see how far they can take him!

I have a 2 year old Australian Shepard/ lab mix named Rizzo with high anxiety. She hates getting her nails trimmed. Julie and her staff were great with addressing her stress and making the experience as bearable as possible.

I take both my boys there for day school! One of my boys, Solomon, was kicked out of day care for being too “Aggressive and vicious” when playing with other dogs. He’s successfully been to dayschool with zero issues with other dogs! They actually know how to read behavior and watch and interact with the dogs! I also bring Kai, who is a registered ESA and they’ve work with him so much on basic manners. I know the price of dayschool per one day seems high, but it’s worth every single penny. It’s not day care, it’s 11 hours of training and proper socialization. I highly recommend Stepping Stones!

I can’t say enough about what Stepping Stones has done for our Leo. Our little fluff has had a lot of issues with anxiety. He was very reactive to any dogs with a lot of barking, pulling, and just going crazy. He was also very timid to meet new people. I happened to find Stepping Stones and read the reviews and thought we would give it a try. This has been the best decision we have made. They truly cared about Leo, they worked with us every step. Julie and Hailey met with us when they saw that he had peaked in day school and he wasn’t improving any further. They worked with us to change the plan for Leo and then we started attending Life Skills 1. This class truly helped us become better pet parents to Leo. We learned more in this class then I ever thought possible. She taught us the skills to help Leo. He graduated from Life Skills 1 we enrolled him in Life Skills 2, and I think this class is the best class. We were able to not only work around other dogs but also go into public areas to work with distractions and random dogs. It gave us and Leo more confidence when we are out on our own. It brings tears to my eyes when I think of how much they have helped us and Leo and just the change in our fluff, it’s such a relief to be able to go on a walk and feel confident that if we see another dog everything will be fine. We started this process in January 2019, with an extremely stress pup and now in August 2019, Leo is a whole new dog. He’s happier, less stressed, excited to see dogs, and starting to make dog friends. The support Stepping Stones gives the owners and their dogs is wonderful. We are so grateful for Stepping Stones and all the staff, they are truly amazing. This place goes above and beyond for your pup and I can’t emphasize enough just how much they truly care. I can’t say enough for how they have helped Leo, I highly highly highly recommend bringing your dog here. They have so much passion for helping dogs, it truly shows in every interaction.

The trainers are truly engaged with my puppy. She enjoys her time spent “at school” and I can see a difference in her behavior after her mini-lessons while their. They have a true passion and love for these dogs and I trust them totally with my precious puppy.

My little yorkiepoo injured her hind leg the same week she was suppose to be groomed. The vet recommended CANCELING her appointment so she could have sometime to heal. This was the 1st weekend in May. When I called to cancel the appointment, I took the next available appointment which was August 4. I knew there was NO way my pup could go that long without a haircut. I don't trust just anyone with my baby. I called and spoke with Julie on Friday and Annie had a beautiful haircut on Tuesday. Stepping Stones did a GREAT job. I highly recommend. Thank you Julie and Nicole for taking such good care of my little girl.

"Cassie", my 1 year old Newfy, and I learned so much at Steeping Stone. The staff was wonderful. We both graduated from "Life Skills 1" and are getting into the "Life Skills 2" next. Learning to read body language was amazing. Thanks for all your help. She actually gets excited now when getting in the car for a trip.

What an amazing place to take your pupper. I feel completely comfortable entrusting my best friend to Julie, and her team. I would highly recommend Stepping Stone to anyone I know who needs help with their dog with behavior problems, or anxiety.
