I take my dog here for all of her vet needs! She is reactive and has dog-aggression issues we are addressing in training. I called around to many vets when I was trying to find a new vet for her - specifically wanting a facility that could be accommodating and nonjudgemental when it comes to Marlow's struggles behaviorally. The Paw Patch staff has always been very kind, understanding, and loving to Marlow! They offer a Chill package that is a series of calming medications I give to Marlow before her appointment. By the time she gets to the facility, she is ready to have the best time of her life! The staff welcomes her with open, excited arms and Marlow goes right to them. Marlow visits the Paw Patch monthly for nail trims and Cytopoint injections, so it is quite costly. This vet office is almost out of my budget as a single teacher with 5 other pets, but luckily I am able to swing it. I really trust this facility and that is something that is hard to find!

What a great place to take your fur babies! I have never met such caring and responsive staff that go the extra mile to make sure the best care is given!

My husband and I adopted our first cat in 2018 and the only advice I was given on a how to find a good cat veterinarian was “make sure they don’t declaw.” I called several local places until I found the Paw Patch. We’ve been so happy with the love and care that all the doctors at Paw Patch show our Roland (and second cat: Bartok). I am also so thankful for the knowledge, concern, and advice of the veterinary technicians. They have shown me and my cats immense patience and kindness over the years. We love the Paw Patch crew and are so thankful for them!

I took my dog, who was ill with cancer, to The Paw Patch. We knew he was going to die, since his cancer was rare and aggressive. We did not want him, at age 14, on chemo. We found comfort in the integrative approach for our pet's illness.

Our almost 11 year old Great Dane is losing mobility in her back legs, due to a couple of degenerative discs. We had to help her up and down steps, and doing that with a 130lb dog several times a day was challenging, to say the least. She is absolutely worth it, but we hoped there was something out there that could help her gain her mobility back. We found that at Paw Patch! We left our appointment feeling so optimistic and full of hope for our girls future. Dr. Shaw had a plan in place for her care by the time we left, and we saw almost immediate results. Dr. Shaw’s positivity is infectious too!!

Our sweet dog had cancer this year, and I appreciate this staff looking out for her best interest at every turn. After every visit, they would reach out and check on her status. We were able to have a few extra months with her and am grateful for her comfort in the meantime. When it was time to say goodbye, they were able to quickly get us in for an appt, and were very sweet about the whole thing.

We switched to this vet during COVID so we have never been inside but appreciate the ongoing curbside service and their commitment to safety. We have used the wellness package and felt that our dogs have received great care at an affordable cost. Recently our dog was sick and Dr. Erik Tysklind provided excellent care. He was thorough, provided multiple updates while he was being observed there and called to check on him the day after he went home despite it being a weekend. Would recommend The Paw Patch to anyone!

I was referred to this vet clinic when my cat developed an issue with his ears. The staff were all really friendly, and accommodating. Dr. Tysklind was very detailed and investigated my cat's heart murmur to make sure he felt comfortable putting my cat under, something my old vet didn't care to do. They explained treatment options and costs (which I appreciated since I was a college student). They also immediately took him back when he became unresponsive a few days into his recovery. (He got dehydrated and they got him right as rain) I ended up making them my primary vet until I had to move away. The entire staff is obviously passionate and caring for the animals in their care. They were also kind enough to give me recommendations for a vet in my new city. I'm going to miss taking my cat to them and I recommend them for anyone in the Indianapolis area!!!!!

Been going here for years wouldn’t dream of going to another vet. I don’t feel like they try to pressure us into unnecessary procedures always explain things and have our pets best interest in mind. Staff is super friendly and knows my husband all my pets and myself. When I’ve had older animals pass they’ve made the process easy and are kind and caring. They do excellent with older animals and I appreciate the variety of arthritis treatments they offer older dogs so they don’t have to be uncomfortable.

I just had to come on here and share my experience with this vet. The Paw Patch and it’s staff are some of the best people. Long story short - I brought in a stray cat that I knew was having some breathing difficulties. I was very connected to this cat and knew something was wrong. I had to make a hard decision and put her down because of what was wrong with her. It was extremely emotional and one of the worst days of my life. 26 years old and I had to put my first cat down. But through this process, the staff here made me feel so comforted and cared for. (And note: this is during our stay at home orders so I was not even allowed into the vet for health reasons). They called me every 20 minutes with updates, Price updates and their thoughts and opinions on the situation. They even texted me x rays so I could be aware of what was happening. I felt such a genuine good energy from these workers. I felt like they truly helped my cat and helped me make the best decision. Also I want to add that this was my first time even going there, so without even knowing me I felt such a good energy from them. I just can not express enough how much they helped me through this hard day. Thank you so much Paw Patch for being good people and doing your jobs so well. Thank you thank you thank you. I can’t wait to take my cats here for their checkups so they will get to know you ❤️

I followed Dr. Finnegan when she went full time here at The Paw Patch. She is so caring and absolutely loves my sweet Chloe. That being said, we have also come to love Dr T. The entire staff at The Paw Patch are so kind and welcoming. My Chloe actually gets excited to go to the vet, she thinks she’s going to see her friends. The staff here have always sprang into action when we’ve had an issue and helped Chloe get back to her normal self as quickly as possible. Thank you all for always taking care of my sweet pupper! We both appreciate you all so very much!

They're the best. Since moving to Indy about 7 years ago I've struggled to find a good and reliable vet's office for our 3 hoosier cats but have been so glad to find them and Dr. Finnegan in the last year. All 3 are very unique with different issues and I always feel like they give them the patience and care they deserve (even if they're being difficult). I so appreciate the staff's time, care and kindness over the past 13+ months. I truly can't thank you enough. Also, I LOVE their setup with COVID. I truly appreciate them taking the extra precautions and their system is flawless. Thanks for keeping all of us and our pets staff!

I’ve been taking my dogs there 13 years. The exams are very thorough and they do a good job explaining everything. The whole staff is professional and very caring. My dog loves going there!

Been taking my fur kids to the Paw Patch for more than a decade and this is hands down the best vet my dogs ever had. Dr. Tyskland is a treasure and Dr. Finnegan a wonderful addition and the entire staff friendly and engaged. They truly care, they provide great annual care and if anything is ailing the time is taken to explain available treatment option and the plan ahead, since not all diagnosis is always easy and apparent. I wish I would have as good a doctor as my fur kids have in this clinic!!!

Switched to this practice recently. Super happy. They are organized, friendly and thorough. Highly recommend.
