Our dog had the most terrible haircut. It was so bad they called me ahead of time before she returned and promised to fix it free of charge. When we tried to take her back to get it fixed, they refused and tried to charge full price again. The staff is rude and unprofessional. The groomers are unprofessional. This is a terrible place and we will not bring our dogs back here. They are overpriced too. So many better options in the area for more reasonable and professional services. They said the manager would call back to fix it and he/she never called back.

I left my dog with Good Dog during a holiday weekend. While I understand that the holiday seasons are usually booked and boarding is going to be difficult, I think Good Dog is an okay place to board your dog. Every time I called to check on my dog, they were attentive and they were able to provide good updates on my dogs eating habits. However, my dog peed in her kennel while with Good Dog. I can say that this is worrisome because I’ve never had a problem with my dog peeing inside her kennel or in my house. She stays at home while I’m at work for 10 hours and has not had an accident. This leads me to believe that she was not taken to the bathroom enough while with Good Dog. I understand holiday weekends are busy times, but I want to trust that my dog will be taken care of while I am away. Overall, the staff was more than nice and great to work with. I just wish I felt that the same service was provided to my doggo when she stayed with them.

Our dog spends a lot of time at home and doesn't have very much contact with other dogs. After taking him to other facilities for day care, they were unable to accept him as he was very nervous and didn't interact with the other dogs. We took him to Good Dog in hopes that he would warm up to the staff and other dogs. To our amazement, he stayed all day with no issues and had a great time with the other dogs. Since then, he's had numerous visits during the day and a couple of overnight. After being nervous at other places, he gets excited when we pull into the parking lot.

You know this is one of the best places I've ever left my dog I'm not a big broad ripple fan not even from broad ripple. But I travel 30 minutes one way to bring my dog here because one they keep her by herself they take extremely good care of her she never seems to even be in a big hurry to come back home LOL. They pamper more than anybody else and I was told by one of the staff that they even carried around a little extra because she was so cute. I would highly recommend this place over any other. The owners a friend of a friend of mine and I really that's how I found it. Definitely a hidden jem

Very good only problem I had is they won't feed my husky there raw food only their dry food and they don't really like it but had no choice. It was eat it or go hungry so they lost a little weight.

This is the only place I will consider taking my hyper (but extremely lovable) min pin to when I travel. The staff greets her by name the moment we walk in the door and she gets so excited when she knows we are going. I never have to worry about her in their capable hands. The pricing is very fair but knowing my dog is happy is worth so much more.

After working with this facility for over a month, taking our dog twice a week for daycare in orders to prepare both he and the staff for his stay, and thorough conversations with the owner regarding his specific needs, the facility told us less than 10 hours before our trip and after caring for him for only 45 minutes that they were not able to meet his needs and that he would not be able to stay for that very night. This is a completely unreliable and truly dishonest company. I say they are dishonest because the owner herself assured me in person and on multiple occasions that the staff would be happy, willing and capable to care for our pup and when the time came she left us stranded in an absolute pickle. I cannot possibly discourage fellow dog owners more than I do from utilizing this company because if things don’t go as smoothly as you may hope, the facility will not hold up its end of the bargain to offer the dog the best care possible even despite the vast amount of money that is paid for the care.

I have to edit my original review to warn other pet owners of my experience. I have been taking my dog Gail there for grooming for awhile now and have always loved their work. The staff is attentive and I appreciate the groomer coming out to talk to me. However, this past week I decided to try boarding. Gail suffers from epilepsy and requires phenobarbital at exact same times twice a day. I picked Gail up without any concerns until I checked her pill box and notice a dose had been skipped. I spoke to Sam over the phone who was very professional and extremely sorry however the damage had been done and she ended up suffering a violent seizure that night. If you have a normal dog this place is great however if your dog requires more care it might be best to leave them with persons with more experience with special needs dogs.

HORRIBLE GROOMING. My sweet, 10lb dog, who is VERY laid back has received the worst haircut and was treated very poorly. They charged us $20 extra because he was “ viscous” he’s a 10lb teddy bear dog.......they muzzled him, haircut took hours, and it was the worst thing I’ve ever seen. He literally looks like two different dogs had been sewn together. Shaved down to his skin in the back, shaved down to his skin behind the ears, yet semi fluffy in the back. Very disappointed how also they laughed at us when we called to complain.

Do not take your pet to Good Dog Hotel and Spa for boarding or day care. My dog was not provided water or adequately monitored and then needed to go to the vet because she had an infection, a fever, and could not walk. The total bill for the vet was $371. My dog should have had doggy day care on both days of her stay and is promised to be let out 4 times a day. With these services my dog’s injury should have been noticed by a staff member. I tried to call to resolve this issue with a manager and the only time I got ahold of her she asked permission to call my vet and now will not return my phone calls. When I had talked to the manager about my concerns, she lied multiple times about my conversations with staff when dropping my dog off or picking her up to take blame away from where blame is due- the lack of monitoring that occurs while your pet is in their care. This is what happened: when my dog was handed back to us we were told she had been snoozing in her suite and we sat down in the lobby to wait for the self-service bath. When we got her, she immediately drank the entire container of water in the lobby and my fiancé made mention of when she had water last. I noticed her front paws were red and asked the woman working behind the counter and she said she didn’t know what happened and there were no notes in her chart about it. She went and asked the person working in the suite area and they also hadn’t noticed but said sometimes dogs chew their paws when bored or anxious. Again, with the day care and walks she was promised someone should have noticed my dog was injured. After getting home she drank another entire bowl of water and ate more than two cups of food immediately like she was starving and then laid down. When it was time for her to go out before bed my dog would not get up. I stood her up and she screamed in pain and laid back down. My fiancé asked what had happened and we tried to get her up a second time and again she howled but stood up shaking. Then I noticed she wasn’t putting any pressure on one of her front paws and was trying really hard to not put any on her other front paw. The next morning, she still would not stand up and was very lethargic. We could coax her into taking a few steps, but she would stop to lick her paws and lay back down immediately. I went to the store and got her some paw soother to see if that helped her feel any better and left a message at Good Dog to call me back. At this point I unpacked her bag from Good Dog and saw that 3/4 of the chews I had provided them to alleviate her boredom were still in her bag. The soother seemed to help her feel a little better but the next morning she was not standing up again so I called her vet and they said she could come in as a drop off. I also called Good Dog who didn’t have a manager on duty. Before speaking to the manager my vet got back to me and said Kira had an infection in her paws, a fever and was abnormally lethargic. The manager had no explanation for why my dog was so thirsty or why I still had her chews. Then she said she had been in the lobby at our pick-up and she knew THEY had told us about her paws. As I stated earlier, they had NO idea there was something wrong with her. This led me to asking if she had gotten play time and her four potty breaks why no one would have noticed. The manager responded she had just come from play time when I picked her up, and again this was a lie that I refuted because I had been told she was snoozing in her suite when I got there. Then this woman tried to tell me I had informed them at her drop off that this was a problem my dog normally had which is absolutely not true. My dog has never done this before, and she asked to call my vet to confirm this. I gave her permission and she never called. I’ve called Good Dog two more times and the manager will not respond- they know they are in the wrong and do not want to take responsibility. If you want your pet to be monitored and cared for do not take them to Good Dog.

We love Good Dog! They treat our large Great Pyrenees like one of their own. We use Good Dog for our daycare, grooming and boarding needs and our dog is so comfortable and cared for there.
