From what I can see of the responses from the owner, they seem like they can't take blame for what their staff did. They are always either shifting the blame onto the customer or they are shifting the blame on the dog. Own up to your mistakes, other wise it makes you look very unprofessional. Also, they seem very passive aggressive.

I’ve taken my dog to this groomer a few times now. At first I was pleased with my service but it has gotten progressively worse. My dog used to have minimal issues with nail trimmings but now she is petrified, yelps, and runs away at the sight of clippers. In addition, the last time I took her to this groomer they did not perform half of the services that I paid for. They then told me “the self service bath is $20”. Other groomers have not had issues with her in the past, but I fear I will not be able to take her to any groomer now due to the negative experience she had with this groomer. I would not recommend Furr pet spa for your dog.

I have been trying to get my puppy an appointment for a puppy groom and have been very unpleased by the responsiveness. I first tried to ask questions using the Contact Us page on their website. The website said they should respond in 48 hours. It was over a week with no response. I then resorted to calling and any new clients have to leave a message… they don’t actually answer the phone. I left a message to get more information and I did receive a response within 24 hours (like they say in the answering machine message). The lady I talked to was very nice and helpful. I mulled over options of where to get my puppy groomed and ultimately called back again a couple days later to actually schedule the appointment. Again no response in the promised 24 hours. I called a second time… no response. Maybe they’re busy, maybe they’re answering machine is broken, maybe they forget to call people back. I believe if they want new clients and new business, they should do a better job at answering and responding to calls and emails.

My girlfriend dropped off our dog first thing this morning to be groomed at an appointment we made over a month ago (the last time he was groomed). After not hearing anything from the facility, since she had to go to work, and I am at work until 5 on the northside, she decided to go over there and check out what was going on herself thinking that they may have been busy and just hadn't gotten to calling yet. Upon arriving she was made aware that Kane had not been groomed yet (mind you, he had been there for 6 hours now) because "other people requested pickup times earlier." Meanwhile while making the appointment she was never given the option to "request a pickup time." So she chooses just to pick up Kane because she has to be at work and I can't get there in time before they close. When she is checking out they let her know that he has had a bath, and that was going to be $70. So not only did the service not get done, we were charged $70 for something either her or I could've done at a PetSmart for significantly less money. I am not sure what is going on, but that is unfortunately the last time we will be trying to use them for grooming. Hope everybody else has much better luck if you choose them for their services. Response to the owner: This is because she was not aware that she was able to request a pickup time. She was under the impression that it was first come first serve, it's never been an issue until now when he sat there for six hours and only received a bath. She declined your service because nobody would have been able to pick our dog up by the time you guys closed. Once again, I get off at 4:30 in Noblesville and she had to be at work by 2:00. Had we known you guys took "pickup time requests" and it didn't matter what time we dropped the dog off, we would've asked to get him early and have him done early, since we dropped him off when you guys opened.

Good luck getting into this place! This company does not answer their phone calls. When they book your appointment they will tell you the wrong drop off time and ask for you to pay a late fee. Even though you already had a scheduled appointment they will tell you that they no longer have room for your fur baby to get groomed...

It's like I have a new cat. His coat is so clean and fluffy. It actually feels like I'm rubbing a FURR coat! (See what I did there?) Thank You for Everything!

We stopped taking our pup here a while ago for two main reasons: 1. We presented them with pictures of the cut style we wanted each of the four times we went in, and the cut he came out with never resembled anything close to what we were asking for. Perfection certainly isn't necessary but shaving a dog down when you're asking for a specific cut type doesn't seem professional. 2. The last time we took him in, they charged us a $15 extra handling fee because he apparently moved around too much on the grooming table. Their recommendations were to bring him in more often (pay them more) and to sedate him before his haircuts. That's astonishingly little effort for a DOG GROOMING BUSINESS to give prior to relying on extra charges and extreme measures. If a dog doesn't like a stranger tugging and pulling on him, it seems there should be a little understanding on the part of the folks being paid to handle the service. Edit: I saw the response from the owner, and suffice to say we likely just don't agree on a number of things. I get the theory behind bringing him in more often to get used to your people touching him, and I don't believe extra fees are "a waste of money", but I definitely believe they should not just be tacked onto the bill and handed to me to pay without question as if we are doing something wrong, with the solution being "bring him back to us more often" when it wasn't clear you were making any effort to really work with him or cut him in the manner we requested. You noted he was a puppy, and that most pets are not comfortable in one or two visits, which is exactly the reason an additional fee was unwarranted and some understanding would have been highly valued as a newer customer trying to navigate how to best make improvements. We found a place that agreed with us on this and have been nothing but accommodating and loving to our dog. Our dog still has quirks that needs to be worked with when grooming, so perhaps we just got lucky and found a place that does too much without extra compensation in the owner's opinion, but to me, it just seems reasonable for a grooming business. I appear to be in the minority, so I'm happy others don't feel the same way. Thanks for the response.

We normally go here and they usually do a great job, but unfortunately this time the groomers cut him badly in 3 different areas and caused him to bleed. No one mentioned it at all and we didn’t even realize it until we got home. I don’t know if it was a new groomer or not, but someone should have said something, since we’ve been going here for years. RESPONSE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS YOU SENT IS INVALID. The name is David Siegelin in your database. He is a pomeranian and is normally fine when I or you guys cut his hair. I just tried to recently cut his hair at home now and he shakes uncontrollably. Not really sure what I should do now though, but this has really complicated things now.

I found them online and i'm glad that I did. Ease of booking: Making an appointment online was really easy using their online system. The website has all of their services listed however there aren't any pricing information. For pricing, you have to use their "get a quote" system. Drop off: A day or two before my appointment, someone from Furr kindly reminded me of my appointment and what vet documents I needed to bring. Anyone who regularly uses a grooming / day care, should already have this information. When I got there, everyone greeted my dog and I accordingly and I got to meet my groomer, Cody. Cody did his consultation and i pretty much gave him a rough guideline to do "whatever" the whole process took about 10-15 minutes. After drop off (10 am) I was told that he'd probably be done around 1-2 pm. Pick up: My dog was ready around 1:45 pm so their timing was pretty accurate, but it can vary depending how busy they are, so if you're dropping off you should be somewhat flexible with pick up times. My dog looked absolutely amazing at pick-up. Even though I didn't give much guidance to my groomer, he did an impressive job. Also, Furr keeps a database of what was done, so they can go back if you liked what was done previously. Cost: To give you an idea cost, my dog is a 9 lb bichon / shih tzu mix and he got a full bath, cut and a "blueberry" facial (face wash to help with tear stains) and it all came to about $60. Full disclosure, I've used many grooming service before from high end "pet spas" to big box groomers , both of them are great for what you can afford but it does make a difference but It all depends on what kind of cut you want and the kind of hair your dog has. But Furr is comparable to higher end spas. Overall enjoyed their service and will continue to use them for him monthly trims. Thank you Furr Spa and Cody for such a great experience.

We’ve been taking our goldendoodle to Furr for over 3 years. Quimby’s groomer Katie does a fantastic job and will often come speak with us before and after each appointment. The staff is always very clear on how short they may need to trim her hair due to matting. Furr is alway clean and it’s very obvious the staff loves all the animals that visit.

Groomers always cut my dog exactly to my specifications. He comes back looking happy and perfect every single time. The team is very sweet and helpful. The best part is they give you a report card when you pick your dog up that tells you how he did during his groom. Thanks for taking care of Bo, Furr!

Got this little one groomed today! Everyone was so nice, and she's beautiful! I will DEFINITELY be coming back, she's show ready, and extra cute with her bandana! The price for everything is well worth it for my little Samoyed princess!

The staff is VERY nice, but this place is expensive for an unimpressive grooming experience. It's also really awkward that they include an unwanted teeth cleaning quote with your bill. Making it more cringeworthy, they follow up with an unwanted conversation about getting your dog anesthetized to have his/her teeth cleaned by them. It was too expensive to top off the experience with an unwanted upsell... no thanks!

Been going here for years. My dog has a anxiety problem and they always know how to calm him down and get him groomed the best way possible.. all for 70 bucks they give him a good bath, clean his ears, cut his nails and do a paw pad treatment which is awesome!!

Olivia, the greyhound, visits Furr every month. I, her human, love Furr. They give her a great shine and nail clips! She is a bit of a Diva on the crate situation, but I know her methods! She doesn’t fool anyone. ????????❤️????

This was my first time taking my 1 year old puppy to this spa and his 3rd time ever being groomed. He's a very nervous boy and doesn't do well with new people. He's still nervous with me even after 9 months of love and attention, so I was definitely nervous to leave him. However once I arrived and met the wonderful staff of Furr I was completely comfortable with leaving my little one with them. They were excellent with him and very patient. They talked with me about different styles they could do with his hair and went over any other questions I had. I would definitely recommend Furr! Rocko came out looking like a brand new boy with his mohawk. He was soooo handsome ???? Oh, I forgot to mention how nice the facility is. It is welcoming and inviting. They have baked dog cookies and scented candles with cute names.

They were very friendly and got my pup in the same day! I will definitely be back. The one thing I wasn’t happy about- my pup came home smelling like a musty towel. I will go back and try again- probably a fluke thing.

Very nice and clean facility! Cat groomers are hard to find in Indy and my long haired cat needs shaved at least twice a year. So glad I found a awesome groomer downtown.

Fantastic place. I usually wash my stinky little dogs myself, but I took them to Furr because I’m lazy, and they’ve never smelled better! Prices are reasonable and the staff is wonderful. My grumpy fellers get along well with everyone there. Bath includes nails, ears, and a good brushing. They are so soft and clean!

I don’t know where to begin or how to articulate how wonderful everyone is here especially Andi, they're all knowledgeable, accommodating, and caring for our fur babies like they’re their own! Andi has went above and beyond for us, she explained the entire process of new pups starting to get groomed, why we need additional vaccinations (for our pups protection of course), and reassuring me if there were any problems (which there hasn’t been) she’d call immediately! I can’t thank everyone enough for being amazing and keeping such a clean space.
