We can not say enough amazing things about Bark Tutor and our amazing trainer Kayla! Our Great Dane puppy started with Kayla and completed two full training sessions with her (per our request).Kayla helped to teach and enforce basic commanding skills with Phoebe and socialization around other animals and people. Kayla was absolutely amazing in her knowledge and understanding of dogs and has an ability to read and understand their individual personalities and base their training lessons specific to their needs. During our one on one training sessions with Phoebe and Kayla every week we were able to walk away with new knowledge and techniques of handling skills for Phoebe. Every day we received a very detailed report card about the lessons Phoebe had that day as well as pictures. It was very clear that Kayla and all of the staff at Bark Tutor loved Phoebe as if she was one of their own. This was such a comforting feeling to have when dropping Phoebe off each day. We are forever grateful for Bark Tutor and plan to use there Seven Acres boarding as well in the near future!

Kerrigan is wonderful! She came to our home for a private lesson for our 14 week old puppy. She’s not only an excellent trainer (she had our puppy behaving within minutes), she’s an excellent teacher. Her instructions were clear and precise, and she was extremely patient with me. She even called me a few days later to inquire how it was going and to answer follow up questions. Worth every penny!

You may be wondering "is it worth it?" and the answer is an emphatic yes! What they taught our pup works really well, but what they taught us is the real magic... Without the BT team, we wouldn't have the confidence and consistent technique to get the results we wanted. Now, we feel like pros and enjoy working on things with our dog. Taylor is amazing. Our 5 mo. old retriever never wanted to leave and we learned so much during our sessions with her. Take your dog here and do your homework. It works.

My four and a half month old Goldendoodle is attending three weeks of training at Bark Tutor. Taylor is our trainer and I could not be more impressed. The training is above what I expected, and Taylor is an amazing trainer. My Goldendoodle responds so good to training and loves to play with all her new friends. She is pretty tired by end of day. I can safely say you get your moneys worth at Bark Tutor. Definitely a five star rating!

Our 4 month old Golden Retriever just finished his 3 week intensive puppy training at Bark Tudor. We can’t say enough about this positive rewarding experience for both our puppy and ourselves as owners. The entire staff was very professional, courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. Our trainer, Kayla, was amazing and worked wonders with our puppy in a short amount of time. She answered all of our questions and concerns and it was evident how much she cared about his training and ultimate success . We would definitely recommend Bark Tudor for your puppy’s training and give it a 5 star rating.

Great experience here with the 3 week puppy preschool for our 12 week old dog. Our trainer Taylor did such an excellent job that we are coming back in a few months for more advanced sessions!

Kayla was a wonderful trainer for Archie, our 5 month old mini-GoldenDoodle. She did a great job training Archie on basic commands, but also was a pleasure to work with on our one-on-one training sessions where she demonstrated the commands to us and helped us as we worked with Archie. Kayla is an excellent communicator and her daily report cards were complete/thorough She was a pleasure to work with, and we would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dog trainer.

Kayla was a wonderful trainer for our rambunctious little Wheaten puppy. She not only did a great job training him with the basic commands, but also calm behaviors and socialization which have helped us when having him around other dogs or in new situations like going out to restaurants. On top of helping to train our puppy, she did a great job making sure we could take what he was learning home, and giving us the proper ways to reinforce those new behaviors. She was a pleasure to work with, and we would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dog trainer.

Bark Tutor worked with our pup and we brought her in for more adult training in a group setting Kayla did a fantastic job leading our class and patiently working with dogs and owners through the challenges of helping our pups learn to have great manners. I definitely recommend a class with Kayla!

Kayla was an outstanding teacher. She worked so well with Lincoln and taught us as well. She communicated very well and we felt like we knew everything that was going on with Lincoln during the day. The report cards with pictures were great. Bark Tutor took very good care of him and he is now a more confident puppy. Highly recommend Kayla and Bark Tutor. Sign up was a bit confusing on the web page, but the service was outstanding.

I chose to enroll my puppy into this establishment based on word-of-mouth reviews from acquaintances who said this was the best place to send their puppies for training. I had trouble getting my puppy started as they assured me I could get him in before he turned 16 weeks. I was instructed to call and enroll on separate occasions and I was told it was full. I had to wait until November and my puppy was 4 months by then. We are dedicated owners and spent our spare time training and socializing. My experience was ok, not the stellar place I was expecting. On several occasions where my assigned trainer was absent, my puppy came back to me with massive scabs and scratches and when I inquired about it there was no explanation. I fully understand that there may be minor injuries here and there because the puppies are all learning, but his injuries were unacceptable. I spoke with several staff who assured me they would find out and have the manager reach out; no explanation was offered and the manager didn’t call. My husband and I seriously considered pulling our puppy from the school and taking a loss on the $1000 training but trainer PAIGE was so good with our puppy we decided not to. Seriously, PAIGE is awesome. She’s perfectly sweet and stern and cares deeply about training good puppies.

I called to schedule my puppy for training. The lady told me someone would call me back but she didn't even take my number. Nobody called me back. So I called back the next day. Another lady took down all of my information and then told me that she wouldn't be able to schedule anything until I completed a profile online, which asked me all of the same information again. I filled out the profile and called back. No answer. I called back 5 more times and someone finally answered, and she told me that I needed to fill out more information. Every person I have spoken with had been rude and unhelpful. I can't imagine how unorganized the front office of this place must be. I'll find another training facility.

Leo enjoyed his time at the 3-week training camp. He was always excited to see the staff in the morning and came home tired and with some new skills.

I really was looking forward to getting my puppy into here. They weren't open to help my puppy that nips, and they gave me a number of a different facility. That place never called me back or tried to get in touch with me. I feel like they only accept certain breeds, if that's true please state on your website. I am unhappy with the few weeks that were wasted of my time.

We've been there to treat our dog, make a sad decision to put the dog down, and take a cat with a blocked urethra. They gave us all the options available. Have their opinion and made the decisions easier than they could of been. They are compassionate, knowledgeable, and telling it black and white. Making sure we were okay with the decisions we make. I will go to this place as long as I live in Indy.

We love Bark Tutor. Their week long obedience class really helped our dog. He now attends day care once a week. They send report cards how he did with pictures playing with his friends.

First group training session went really well! We purchased 4 x 90 mins over 4 weeks to train our dog to be loose leash on walks. We have an Australian labradoodle and they are super clever so will learn anything but we needed some simple work on the basics. I love the name Bark Tutor and their trainer did a great job opening night and their staff was ready to greet all the 6 dogs and their people as we each arrived. We just moved to Butler Tarkington area so this is great close location for us.

We took our 8 month old puppy here for their three week long training program. And we are ecstatic with the results!! Nick was her trainer, and he was great! As an owner, you attend two lessons a week to go over what was worked on with your dog and how to properly bring the training home. Nick made it so easy to understand! Highly highly recommend Bark Tutor!! Our pup is doing great and we’re so glad we went with Bark Tutor!

Saw a fight break out while walking past. These things happen. What was disturbing was the time it took to address the fight and the tools used to break up the fight. Tools used included a toy on a stick and fist...
