Angel Animal Hospital Greenwood, Indiana

Having been going here for years. Cannot believe how terrible this last experience has been. Amanda in the office may be the worst person ever. They do not communicate regarding the needs of your pet. Seems like they are more interested in being awful than helping you care for your animal. Save yourself the heartache and get a provider that is interested in actually helping your animal.

The vets are very nice and even got down on the floor to examine my overly nervous dog. I've seen them for both of my dogs and they were so sweet when my older dog had to be put to sleep.

Shots records are not good enough for them and they change polices within a months time in requiring medical records. What if you can’t access them? What if all they ever had was shots at clinics. What if your vet was rude and you didn’t agree and just wanted your pet checked out. You got new rules supposed to help you but what about the animal in pain. Take the shot records and help a person/ animal. Help me help my animal. I have 4 and they have seen 1 in the recent past but after today it was obvious they don’t care to loose us and we will say Good day to the wonder Vet over not being able to get an appointment for my other animal in pain with only shot records obtainable. ????????

I've called almost all the Clinics and hospitals. Angels was the only one to actually helped. And seem to care. Pt.2 of this review. Ive never seen this much care and attention to detail from any other Animal hospital. As you know I rescue wild and domestic animals. This is my number 1 choice for your pets care. They did a proper and correct exam. Far more than any other. Reasonable price. But I don't care about price although some have too. The care is what counts. Thanks to the staff. I want to thank all the staff for the card! That was AWESOME!!! By the way a dog is only mean if you make it that way. My pits are Sweethearts!

The ladies up front to the Dr and her vet assistant were amazing. Very patient to explain everything and answer all our questions. Even though we got bad news about our dog that's not in there control but very helpful. I hope to make this our home vet for all our pets. Prices reasonable and very clean and set up beautifully for our pets.

Very pleasant and calming atmosphere. Easy to get to.

I took my elderly dog here because he was sick and unable to hold down food. They were able to get me in same day. The doctor took x-rays and gave fluids and meds. 2 days later he was still ill so I agreed to bring the dog in and pay almost $300 for blood work. They didn't give me answers same day and refused to give me any answers until the doctor is back on Monday despite the fact that blood was taken Thursday. At this point I have spent nearly $800 and despite saying they were send x-rays to radiology and taking blood I have no more answers than I did Monday when I took him in for the first tme.They care about money not pets.

Took my sisters dog to get a check up and nails cut. Very nice and reasonably priced.

I was very satisfied with my experience here. Everyone was so nice. From the ladies at the desk to those that helped in the exam room. The Dr took her time explaining everything to me. Im from Chicago and was visiting my guy in Indiana. I called the emergency vet in Indianapolis and she told me Nova, a pit terrier mix, should be ok. Nova had split her nail and it separated from the nail bed. I called around for vets in Indianapolis. One location recommended calling Angel Hospital since they may be taking new clients. The Dr did a full exam, trimmed her nails, and treated the nail that came off. I was also able to get a medication refill I give her for her rash. I also got home care instructions. I highly recommend them.

I was Referred by a friend. I got Dr. Piper. First visit was okay. I have a new puppy. Then second I got a different md. I was not told of the change. The other was okay. Third visit for puppy shots. Dr. Piper was rude and unpleasant. She asked me where I got my dog. I told he that she had seen my puppy before and then said I have never seen him before. Then proceeded to argue with me. I said look in his record. She said I was lying. Why I don't Know. Then my dog was picking up on the tension and tried to nip/ bite her. Then she said my dog needed trained. ???? Then I asked for prescriptions to take to chewy and it was a big deal. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Then I got a letter in the mail saying I was lying and couldn't come back. I just wish u would have taped that conversation ????.

I was told over the phone this place allowed walk ins because they weren't busy. I brought in my dog who was having breathing problems at the time to be seen because I was in a panic and didn't know what to do or what was happening. I walk in to see they have 4 exam rooms and 3 of them are wide open with nobody in them. There is nobody else there and it is obvious they are indeed not busy. I approached the desk and was looked at like I was stupid for mentioning the phone call and them having walk ins available for her. They told me to sit down and I waited for 20 minutes before being told they couldn't see her because their scheduling didn't allow for it. I mentioned the walk ins from the phone call and the lady pretended to have no idea what that was about and claimed they were too busy to see her. My dog is currently laying down on their floor with breathing problems while they have exam rooms open and nobody is doing anything, but their "schedule" was too busy. This place is a joke. It's disgusting that they are called an animal hospital because that implies they have any urgency or care. Do NOT waste your time here.

I should not need to jump through hoops to get an appointment with a clinic. Waited three days to get a call back to schedule an appointment. When I called back to ask if I can now schedule I was told we still haven’t processed new patient paperwork. Called another vet and she got me right in. And the person I spoke to on the phone both times is not friendly at all. No thanks, I will go somewhere else.

I have never had an experience like I did with Dr Piper. I have been to many vet offices as we are full time RVers. I have had in the past a call from a staff member to see how our pet was but with Angel Animal Dr Piper personally called on her day off. Not only did she call one time she called at least four or five times. She also contacted us via email and gave us suggestions on how to care for our pet. I have never experienced the care that Dr Piper provided and the interest in our pet for her health and general livelihood. We are not in Greenwood other than possibly once a year. We will definitely stop for a check up whenever we are in Greenwood or close to Greenwood. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR PIPER AS A VET!!!! Her personal interest is unparalleled in my experience.

I brought my dog Rocky and the team and Dr PIPER was fantastic.

They were very kind and caring. The experience was not the outcome I wanted, but had ţo do. I wish with all my heart it could have had another outcome. They were very supportive during this difficult time.

Dr. Piper is great. Helped me over the phone, pickup of meds was quick and easy.

Do not take your pet here. If you have an emergency they are very unkind and don't even try to help. Our new puppy was super sick and even though we had another dog that was a patient with them they would not see our puppy because they had not had her before. I get the process of it all but I feel like expressing to them it was urgent I thought they would at least try to help but that's what happens when you go to a vet that doesn't treat people like family. I wouldn't go there if I was you.

Fantastic place, great and caring staff and wonderful veterinary.

For years my mom took her dogs here and I just brought one of my cats here for the first time. They've always been very kind and quick. Very considerate of my nervous kitty. I even came back in after I left to ask more questions and the vet came out to answer them! I think it's very fairly priced as well. Not to mention, most vets have fish tanks that they don't take care of but their saltwater tank is understocked and fantastic. This tells me they really understand and care for all pets through and through. I will certainly be back.

I am currently into my eleventh year taking my two dogs to Angel. I wanted to say thanks to Dr. Piper for the time spent with them over the years. It is really appreciated. I now have five dogs and they are cared for with great care by Dr. Piper and the staff.

The whole team at Angel Animal Hospital are really great and really care about our pets. Both of my dogs enjoy going there and meeting the girls. The lovies and scritches make them welcome friends. ????????

Great vet has help my English bulldog out alot with her health

I have always taken my pets to Angel Animal Hospital. The staff is friendly and does not try to rush you through. They take their time and listen to all of you questions and concerns. Would not go to another vet!

The level of care my animals have received here is second to none. They seem to really care about all my pets. I will not trust my current or future pets to anyone else. Plus, super cool tropical fish tank in the waiting room, plus parrots and parakeets, plus kitty playground to look at in the waiting area.

I'm happy to say I'm changing my response back to a positive one. My furbaby got her shots and annual exam, plus heartworm and fecal test. They got back with me in just a few hours with results, gratefully that were all negative. Tech Tatiana especially was especially great with our dog. She really took time to try to soothe and love on our furbaby, who is a nervous dog. The vet also gave her a clean bill of health! I didn't go to the front desk this time, I let my husband handle it. This time the techs seemed more caring and truly interested in what they were doing. Plus we brought up that we would like to get a scrip for Heartguard because Interceptor was becoming price prohibitive for us. I was so surprised how accommodating they were. By the way, I never give a 5 star rating to anyone, unless it's crazy good. Everything went so well today. So looks like we will be staying!????????

WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED to the pet hospital I knew, liked, trusted and referred others to?? New ownership perhaps?? My recent visit was not satisfactory and when voicing concerns, all staff could do is offer weak "I'm sorrys" as if they are so used to hearing complaints now of days that it's no big deal. Just another name on the complaint list. The office is decorated pretty, but the service is not optimum like it used to be. No wonder staff people leave. I always wondered about the signs posted outside advertising to hire new vets. Now I know why.

I have taken my cat here several times. The staff is courteous and patient. The doctor has always been caring and informative. Highly recommend.
