The doctors and staff are very friendly and welcoming. They treat you like family. I’ve been going here for many years. I’ve had to put 3 animals down and each time the staff was very compassionate and didn’t rush us while we said our goodbyes. The Dr. even sat and consoled my daughter when she had to put her baby down. I can’t say enough good things about TLC. I would definitely recommend TLC.

This place should have 10 stars truly! Why they only have 3 stars is beyond me. Because let me tell you, I have never encountered such wonderful, kind, and absolutely amazing staff in my entire life! I made arrangements way back in March to have my dogs boarded for Memorial Day while we took a family vacation. (Animal Ark) I specifically asked them at the time I made reservations what vaccinations my dogs (3 dogs) would need. I was told specifically a rabies vaccine only. So I went and had that taken care of way back in mid April. So I showed up today to (Animal Ark) to drop my dogs off. I was told they needed two other shots before they could be boarded there. Was basically called a liar to my face and that they would never tell my anything like that. They closed at 4, it is a Sunday holiday weekend on top of it. I had 3 hours to try to find someone who would give my dogs these shots or my whole non refundable vacation would be going up in smoke! I called like 20 vets and no one could get us in. I was ready to give up. Then the very last call I made which was to TLC Pet Care Center on Hamilton Ave. Not only did they get us in, but they stayed open and waited for us when they had just closed for the day. The staff was so kind, understanding, and accommodating! I found out they also offer pet boarding and I would have just went ahead and boarded my dogs with them had I known prior and hadn’t already made arrangements somewhere else. I truly can not say enough kind and wonderful things about this place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Took my dog in the other room to do an exam. Only got a list of medications but on one it says injection doesn't say the name of the injection. No paper with the procedures done just the bill and meds.And they over charge you for meds that Don't even work. VERY disappointed my dog is sick and probably dieing but what do they care.

I had to switch providers after the expensive treatment we received twice was not working. Once I started treatment at the new vet I learned the medicine I was paying for I was being over charged times two. When I discussed a new treatment due to the cost I was given no other options. The wait times are extremely long. I would not recommend this facility. It is highly overpriced and a waste of your time and your pets health.

They always take excellent care of my puppies. They're one of the cheaper places to have spay/neuter surgeries done. Definitely recommend ????

I had a bad experience with TLC before and said I would never go back... but here I was making the same mistake twice. I WILL NOT MAKE IT FOR THE 3RD TIME. This place doesn't care about your pet, and they are the most unprofessional selfish vet clinic I have ever been too. If you care about your pet, DONT GO HERE.

These amazing people saved my baby. My puppy was extremely sick and needed all the help she could get and the vets and their help saved her. I got calls every single day with how she was doing. I was able to call anytime during the day for updates. They saved my puppy with out a doubt. I highly recommend this place to anyone I talk to about it. Amazing vets. Amazing treatments and Amazing service. So so thankful.

Horrible, unprofessional experience. I was given no choice but to go to this vet due to it being a Sunday. My poor cat hadn't peed in 2 days so I rushed him to TLC hoping to find answers. I have never been to a vet clinic where I've had to pay the office fee upfront, $75 because it was Sunday. The lady vet was very knowledgeable but dressed as though she was running late for drinks with a friend. She was wearing a crop top t-shirt and jeans hair in a messy bun. No scrubs or white coat. She presented us with a surgical procedure costing me $1800 which could have increased if my cat needed to stay another night. I was not offered another solution. I had to ask if there was another option or if he could receive medications instead. The tech then went and got the meds but before giving them I had to sign a waiver saying I was refusing the surgical procedure. I left there disappointed but hoped that the meds they gave my cat would help. Boy was I wrong. Fast forward to another 24 hours and my cat still had NOT peed. I prayed he would make it just a few more hours so that I could call his regular vet. I got him in right away Monday morning and they took him and said he needed to be unblocked. I asked them if this was the the surgical procedure the previous vet at the other clinic had suggested. The vet on Monday said that since it was his first blockage they usually don't recommend the big surgery until the cat has blocked a few more times. I was then FURIOUS about the Sunday situation at TLC center. Please don't take your pets here. EVER. If you don't have another choice like I didn't due to the weekend then at least get a second opinion!

Hi. I was a new client at TLC Pet Care Center and I adopted a beautiful shepherd mix during Covid. I wanted to adopt a rescue dog because there are so many animals that need good homes. Unfortunately you don’t always know what you’re getting with an older rescue dog and she was having fainting spells almost as soon as I adopted her. She was diagnosed with a heart condition at TLC by Dr. Cable. She went over all of the options with me including a referral to a specialist. I was very grateful for the time she spent with me (I know I was a handful!! I was a complete mess). And for the compassion she displayed. They see this stuff everyday and Dr. Cable treated me like a friend. I did go to the referral but the outcome was grim. I am devastated at having loved and lost a sweet kind pet in a matter of months. I know it will take some time but I will rescue another dog. I will definitely take them to TLC Pet Care Centers. Thank you Dr. Cable for your kind words and vet care and the staff for all your support. It meant the world to me.

We had to get our dog Thor in ASAP and they really helped me. We thought he would have to be sedated to get his nails clipped because of this anxiety, but they took him back and, Ryan I believe was his name, had no issues and had it done in 10 mins. Michael at the desk was very helpful and pleasant to talk to. 10/10 Would Recommend.

My mother has been a customer here for many years they used to be great but they are horrible now. They are not in the business because they care about animals all they care about is money. I took my mom's sick dog there and everything including blood work to figure out what is wrong with him was 140 dollars which was no problem. My mother called to see if the results were back and she was told they didn't take blood because they said I refused it which was bs because my mother was on the phone with me when they said what they were doing and how much it cost. So my mom had to set another appointment because he is still sick and they were trying to charge her almost 200 for the same blood work they were supposed to do the first visit. My mother is on a fixed income and after paying for the first visit plus the charges for the 2nd visit and the new medicine she cannot afford to have his blood work done yet and he is not getting any better with the medication they gave him the 2nd time and I can't even find another vet that is not booked for 2 weeks and I am not sure if he is going to make it that long. My heart is broken for my mother her dogs are her life and we are stuck and its horrible watching a dog suffer all because they lied about blood work. It is like they are not treating the animals right so they have to keep bringing them back to get that money for the office visit plus whatever bogus treatments they come up with. I wish they had done everything in the examination room so I would have known what was done. Because of the Corona virus the vet did the exams in the back room and called my cell to let me know what the next steps were and then the lady also came in and let us know what the doctor said.

Would not recommend this vet. They are not responsive in calling customers back. I should not have to call 4 times to get someone to answer a question or get a call back. They always try to sneak in hidden charges on my bill that aren't necessary things or things that I asked for. Vet will tell you one thing and then the next time you call or have to go in they tell you something else. Very inconsistent. Also the place needs an update and some remodeling. Receptionist is often rude to owners in the waiting room.

They care nothing about your pet after they collect their money. They now take your pets into a separate room “due to Covid” to do the exam and administer vaccines, which I firmly believe traumatized my animals. One peed on herself which is something that she never does, leading me to believe she was terrified and handled improperly. They’re extremely expensive, and lack the compassion and care needed to provide good veterinary care. They’re more likely to push expensive tests and therapies than offer simple cost effective solutions to problems. My cat was throwing up and they wanted me to spend hundreds of dollars additional to the hundreds I had already spent in testing, when it was her food all along. This no cost solution was not one suggested to me and was one I had to come up with on my own. Something simple I could have tried BEFORE spending all of the money on tests. Find another vet and spend your money elsewhere with a Vet that cares!! They’re awful

I took my dog in on the 28th of December for a ear infection she always gets they have been treating my dog for years for the past couple of times I've been there service has been HORRIBLE they charged me 160 so the next visit I told them I wanted EXACTLY everything done like LASTIME well her ear infection never cleared up so I called and the lady said they didn't give her antibiotics that's why it wasn't clearing up so I was told to ask for the manager BETHANY oh her visit was still 160 even though she wasn't given what she most needed so if she wasn't given exactly what she had the LASTIME how is my visit still 160 so I finally got a chance to talk to BETHANY and she told me I had to bring her back plus pay an additional 93 dollars ok so when I go back this new receptionist put us in a room for over a half an hour and nobody came in to see us we just sitting there all the while she's laughing and talking to everyone until there was not another car in the lot everyone had been seen and left before she even sent someone in the room so I went to complain like I've never been through anything like this here what's going on so she kept saying I'm so sorry then after waiting 45 min's some new lady comes in picks my dog up so fast and brings her right back did she even clean up my dog's ear ABSOLUTELY NOT IS THE EAR GETTING BETTER ABSOLUTELY NOT I DON'T KNOW IF THEY ARE UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT BUT THIS PLACE IS ALL ABOUT MONEY AND NOT THE CARE OF YOUR ANIMAL IM NEVER GOING BACK THEY HAVE GOT ME AND MY MONEY LONG ENOUGH I RECOMMEND YOU TAKE YOUR DOG SOMEWHERE THAT CARES BECAAAUUUUSSSEEEE THIS PLACE HAS LOST ITS LOVE AND IT'S ALL ABOUT TAKING YOUR MONEY NOT CURING YOUR DOG IM SO HURT AND UPSET HOW IVE BEEN TREATED IN THAT PLACE NEVER AGAIN AND I MEAN NEVER AND IVE BEEN A LONGTIME CUSTOMER AMD WE WILL NOT BE BACK ????????????????????????????????????

We visited tlc with our American bully on December the 1st we came in for a pre check up and to schedule a c section for our female . The doctor tells my fiancé after examining our dog that she is not pregnant that he has 20 years experience and that our dogs definitely was not pregnant. We told him we had previously had ultra sound 25 days after her Ai and was shown 2 sacs and she would be needing c section the following week. Well we took his 20 years of experience and believed him that she was not pregnant. Last night my dog goes in labor and has to be rushed to anther vet to have c section puppy was Stuck in her birth canal. Last night not only did we loose our puppy but we almost lost our dog too because we was told there was no way she was pregnant. So I now had to pay emergency c section fees unexpectedly 3 days before Christmas this is a major burden on our family finances during this pandemic. Also the loss of the puppy the loss of our time and money invested in the Ai the estrogen test sonagrams and travel . The puppy loss alone is between 6-10 thousand I could only imagine if we didn't go when we did and lost the mom also thank god for being with us. For a veterinarian with 20 years of experience this is unacceptable. We now morn for our loss so we warn you not to visit there and trust them for nothing .

Money hungry & lack of concern for animals or families involved! 30yrs a client! Til now.. literally sarcastically offered to not help us with our dog that cant walk from a leg injury.. nope cant be bothered with it for 2 days & only if I schedule an appointment. Said if they're booked no emergencies allowed. So a shot apt or otherwise was more important than proper care & services to long term loyal client.. maybe Dr Cable's daughter should find another profession.

I sat there for 10 minutes while there was a kid playing video games on the computer at the front desk instead of a receptionist. Never got helped and more than 1 person walked by and seen me sitting there. I left and don’t plan on coming back.

Our vet Westside Animal Clinic was closed on the weekend. So we brought our cat here on a Sunday for a urinary infection. It was just a few dollars more than usual. Great staff, great doctors very caring and attentive.

I would not recommend this vet if your animal is sick. They are not helpful nor compassionate and will always recommend the extras that are unnecessary by playing off your love for your animal. Don't get tricked go somewhere better.

Little to no wait time when i did a walk in with my injured cat. Not a cheap place, but about the same price average as others in the area. Tried other vets and i only get the best experience here
