I drove from Kentucky to have a procedure done to my puppy that nobody else nearby would do. After spending almost $800 at another vet for initial exams and shots, I got a $1200 estimate to have my dogs tear ducts “tacked.” Long story short, I wanted the procedure done another way and Tennessee Avenue did it for a fraction of the cost. The follow up appointment was FREE. My dog didn’t like the previous vet, after the second visit where they claimed he snapped at them, and after they essentially brushed off my concerns and didn’t bother to follow up when they found out I didn’t want to do the procedure they wanted, the research was worth it to find Tennessee Avenue Hospital. My dog had no problem being handed over to them and walked in with them just fine. They said he was a good patient, no snapping. ???? It was a long review, but they’re a great spot and they deserve the praise. I highly recommend. Also, after several months, my dogs eyes are great and we’ve had no problems.

I waited too long to board our precious angel Juniper for the holidays, especially being new to the Cincinnati area. After being waitlisted at two other locations, I saw TAAH had received rave reviews from others and took a chance. So glad I did! When Juni was too stressed to eat, I was informed immediately and the staff took the steps needed to get her comfortable. I am so grateful to have been able to place her in such safe hands. Excellent care at an affordable price.

This vet is too expensive I really didn't feel welcomed I was charged almost $50 for an antibiotic for my kid's kitten that didn't even work I felt like I was really being over charged the exam was free since he was a first time patient but I feel as though I made up for it since the medication was so pricey will not return

My husband and I are OTR truck drivers. Our 13 year old cat, Quinn goes with us. He was diagnosed with stomach cancer in May and passed October 7. We took Quinn here because they offer cremation. While we were there they were super nice, Caring and Understanding. They let us stay with Quinn until we were ready to leave and the company that did the cremation was awesome as well. So now Quinn rides on the dash in our semi with us. GREAT PEOPLE

We live N of Middletown and when Dr. Arlington left the practice in Middletown we were able to locate her down off Tennessee Ave. It's a very long drive for us but our girls had been seeing her for over 8 years. We lost our Sadie unexpectedly on Oct 12th. Doc was, as always very caring of us during this very difficult time. She also took very good care of our girl!! ???? We also just had a very hard time with Ruby a couple days ago!!! Bladder stones. Poor girl. Doc took great care of her and that night see passed a big stone and her bladder let loose. Hooray, she's doing a lot better. Sadie was a sweet people dog and wanted everyone's hands on her all the time. Ruby has had issues since she was young but the past couple times we've seen doc she hasn't growled or barked. A long time coming bc we were always afraid of her biting doc or the techs. She only likes mommy and daddy now. The rest of her clan is gone (Sadie, Nana and Penny). I highly recommend if your looking for a caring vet for your babies. Sadie is cream color and Ruby is red. Both rescues.

Staff was very understanding as to our situation, our dog is in congestive heart failure and we just want to make him comfortable and not extend his suffering. The support that we received in our decision made us feel that we made the right decision.

I could not recommend Tennessee Avenue Animal Hospital more. They are amazing and treat owners and animals with so much respect. l am confident that my rabbit and hamster are receiving the best care possible. Everyone I have spoken to on the phone or in person has been kind and taken the time to get to know me and my pets. For the level of care my pets receive, their prices are extremely affordable. This is the best vets office I have ever been to and I recommend it to all of my friends who have pets.

I don't understand being charged an examination fee when the vet never touches the cat. And if they cannot locate previous vet records proving you had a felv/fiv test they will force you to get another test? Or so I was told by the vet tech. I want my pets to have the best, so I don't want to pay their high fees for my pets to not even get an examination that they were charged for and to be treated like I'm a bad pet owner because they don't believe me about having a felv/fiv test done previously. Thankfully, we located the record of that test; but we have lived in a couple different states while my husband was in medical school, residency etc so I ended up paying a couple hundred dollars more so I didn't have to hunt for the name of each vet my cat has ever been, because at that point I just wanted out of there. I'm not subjecting my cat to an unnecessary blood draw just so they can guilt me into giving them more money.

In all honesty my experience was amazing! Everyone was knowledgeable and kind and very caring about making sure we were well informed of anything we had questions on. The exam was done in front of us and we could see everything! It certainly made us feel good to know they cared about Gaia like we do! We would definitely recommend them to anyone! They even do exoctics, which is amazing because we have multiple exotic animals!

Dr. Laura has been our vet for 10 years. She is great and you can tell she enjoys her work by the way she treats her patients. Her patients (and their owners) love her too. Duke even behaves for her, or at least as much as Duke behaves for anyone.

They saved my baby Marleys life. I had taken her to Medvet hospital early that day 7am and they had me pick her up at 930am and said she is completely OK. If anything she had allergic reaction and should be better as the day goes on. By 2pm she could barely lift her head. She wouldn't eat, drink her nose was hot and very dry so I knew she was very sick. I called Tennessee vet hospital crying bc i was scared she was dying and they talked with me on the phone which most vets won't, they say bring it in (so we can charge u)I can't tell u nothing over the phone, so needless to say when she started answering a few questions for me and ask me questions, I knew she needed to be seen right away. I drove her there and less then an hour they ran some test and she was positive for parvo which is a deadly illness that puppies catch usually and bc she had not been vaccinated for it she caught it. They treated her right away and when I picked her up they went over everything with me. I was very happy with this place and I highly recommend it to anyone who has a pet and needs medical attention. The entire staff was friendly and I was just very impressed.

The staff are informative and freely pass on their information. We as pet parents have to ask questions. Best experience I have received of 3 vets. My puppy will be going back to Tennessee Ave. (Only 4 stars because no one is perfect. )

The staff took excellent care of our bearded dragon. They let us know about how much it was going to be before the appointment. The prices can’t be beat. Love this place
