Very nice facility! Well kept and horses look very well cared for. Top notch indoor and outdoor arena. Setup and jumps are very impressive.

I rode here for a little over a year but I was never that impressed. Overall, I found the head trainer/barn owner Maria to be really temperamental and unprofessional. She snapped at us when we talked to her and she was very impatient with me in lessons, sometimes swearing at me. Maria has a “tough” approach to teaching and training, which might be helpful for some, but it felt like it went way too far and I ended up leaving some lessons in tears. She seems knowledgeable but doesn’t know how to engage well in lessons at all, especially with anxious riders. As far as horse care goes, I can say that the horses appear to be well taken care of with clean stalls and daily turn-out. They also get regular farrier/vet visits. But given the poor dynamic I would have never kept a horse here.

My husband and I wanted to learn how to ride horses together and have had a great experience at the farm. Sammy has been a great instructor and is clearly very experienced with horses. I've learned a lot about the basic care and tacking process before even getting on the horse and by the third of four sessions I almost feel confident that I could tack up a horse on my own. Maria has been helpful and was able to accommodate our schedule. My husband is over 6 foot and they have a horse that can accommodate a man his size which was part of the concern for scheduling but it worked out great. The farm is beautiful and the stable is very large. When you arrive you can expect to be greeted by a very large and friendly farm dog. I've already recommended them to friends who would like to learn how to ride too.

I have a younger brother with Autism Spectrum Disorder and apraxia; as such, his fine-motor skills benefit greatly from horseback riding. The last time we went for his lessons, his instructor kept him waiting for 20 minutes as they were dealing with another group. This cut into our time for 20 minutes. However, when the next group came, we were not given an extra 20 minutes like the last group were, and were told that we needed to leave. When my mother called the owner (Maria) to complain, she said that this was a program for "normal people" and that "if we didn't like it, that's the way it is". We have never dealt with a person who is as narrow-minded, selfish, and discriminatory towards people with disabilities as she is. Imagine telling a mother that her own child isn't normal and that it's that child's fault for the poor quality in horse-riding lesson he received. To the special needs community that benefits from horseback riding, if any of you are reading this, please do not go here. They will not treat you well. In fact, even if you're not part of the special needs community, don't come here in general. The lack of professionalism speaks volumes to how these people will not care about you as a customer. Maria, if you're reading this, you are a terrible person. You made my mom cry and people like you are the reason why people with special needs struggle so much to find acceptance. My family and I will never forgive you.

One of the best training facility in Cincinnati area. Great lesson horses and Maria is a great instructor she is extremely flexible with timing and schedule. Tack room is so organized and equipment are clean and very nicely taken care of. Nice in door and outdoor riding area. Absolutely top notch!

I've been riding with Maria for over 20 years and my family has had a few different horses boarded at her farm. She provides great care and our horses really appreciate daily turnout. She has extensive knowledge in the Hunters/Jumpers/Equitation and I've trusted her over the years to help bring along my young horses and ones that need higher level training & tune-ups.
