Cooper wanted to show Dr Good his new bra to replace the cone. He is wearing his formal tube top for the picture. It is working well, sure beats the cone of shame. Cooper wanted to say thanks to Dr Good and Dr Phillips for taking care of him. Cooper is a trooper and still enjoying the dog life. We will never go to another vet again but Eastgate. These are truly the best care for your pet. Every time we need to go there the staff treats you like family. I strongly suggest Eastgate Animal Hospital to everyone. You will get quality compassionate care for your pet. We love this place and the people! !!

We have been taking family pets here for the last 20 years, and they've been nothing short of wonderful. Good value while providing top level care. Dr. Phillips has been great to us.

I love this group! The great quality starts from the beginning when you call for an appt. There is no waiting for days to get in. When you really need them, they get you in. They greet you coming in the door, no long sitting out in reception area, the staff and Dr are caring, they give you the time you need to talk about why your fur baby is there, they give you up front estimates should a procedure need to be done. This practice takes care of you and your pet from beginning to end, no matter what you are there for. They exhibit caring, compassion, and patience with every visit. I feel they are a good value. I don't feel robbed when we leave there. Kudos to this practice.

I have been going to eastgate animal hospital for 22 years. Both of my Golden Retrievers were treated there for many ailments. My first died of a hemangiosarcoma at age 11. My second is still living under the care of Dr. Gretchen Goode, who is fabulous, and has helped Penny through many crises. She always answers all my questions and treats Penny like she was her own. I am very thankful for her care at The Eastgate Animal Hospital and thankful for the wonderful staff at the front and back office.

This is our veterinarian and this weekend we boarded our dog here. The two girls working today were rude. Need a lesson in customer service. Not greeted upon entering - ignored. Had to yell for them to look my way. Then they don’t accept cash in boarding section- inconvenient. When asked if we can pay with card her response was “I guess” … just unnecessary …. Bad taste in our mouths now. We are happy with our other experiences but not with the boarding side of things.

Dr. Goode is amazing and my cat loves to see her. He always gets on her lap and cuddles. She's a great vet and thorough on her exams and quick to answer any questions. She was very helpful when we had a veterinary emergency earlier this year too, checking back multiple times to check on him. Heyes and I pawsitively love her. All the staff there have always been great as well! Thanks so much.

I've taken several dogs in and they are very responsive, they call to check up on the pet, they call w/results, always friendly and easy to get an apt. A bit pricey, but, she is a big dog.

Almost killed my cat. I wasted hundreds of dollars and months being told my cat had a thyroid problem. The blood shows he went from hyperthyroidism to hypothyroidism & they didn't change the treatment or look for the cause. I took him to another vet for a second opinion bc it was obvious to me they didn't care at all my cat wasn't eating and was dying. He got hospitalized at the second vet and they saved his life. It cost me thousands more than it should have bc they never cared to actually look into what's wrong with him and wasted months treating him for the wrong thing. My cat is still recovering bc it wasn't treated properly the first time I brought him in.

I recently adopted a 13 year old lab with a number of health problems. Murphy was emaciated and with both physical and emotional issues. Dr. Goode was thorough and compassionate, and she helped develop a treatment plan to help Murphy navigate his golden years. He is happy, healthy, and absolutely thriving! I am so grateful for the guidance and advice to give my boy the best quality of life!

We have been going to Eastgate Animal hospital for over 7 years. Last year, our 14 year-old dog tore his ACL- Dr. Frick explained our options with compassion and professionalism- the support we received after the repair was above and beyond. Dr. Goode is truly the most empathetic doctor I have had the pleasure of knowing- her kindness and knowledge regarding our cats health has been invaluable. Dr. Hall is also a gem- funny, professional and compassionate with all of our animals. We truly value Eastgate Animal’s dedication to our fur-babies health! Thank you for being a part of our “family”!

We have been taking our dogs to Eastgate Animal Hospital for about 5 years and they have always been excellent. The doctors and staff are very knowledgeable and friendly and everything from regular checkups to surgical procedures have been smooth and stress free. We recently moved to Northern Kentucky but continue to go to EAH because we trust them and so do our dogs!

My 12 year old English Pointer was suffering from chronic pain and went to EAH several times from June 17. He was x-rayed examined and misdiagnosed by two separate vets. He was released and diagnosed with a hip problem. Over the next week Lucky continued to deteriorate. He was in extreme pain. Not eating drinking or taking oral medicine. Out of desperation my wife contacted our vet in Alabama and described the dogs condition. He suggested that Lucky receive a steroid shot to elevate the pain. When my wife requested a steroid from Dr.Frock he refused and basically “ blew us off “suggesting Med Vet. Lucky continued to be in extreme pain and was basically dying. We decided to have him put down. We made arrangements with Dr Sweeney at Woodridge Animal Hospital in Fairfield. Lucky was taken to see Dr Sweeney where we described his recent health. She preformed a simple reflex test followed by x-rays of his back and made a correct diagnosis in 20 minutes. He was given a steroid shot and laser therapy. By days end Lucky was eating drinking and pain free. I can’t say enough good about Dr Sweeney. She saved my dogs life. I can’t say enough bad about the clowns at Eastgate Animal Hospital. Their misdiagnosis ( and not a complicated one )almost cost me too kill my dog. If you care about your pet I strongly advise you go elsewhere. It’s all about billable hrs at EAH. At Woodridge Hospital we 1 Got an immediate appointment for a critically ill dog. 2 received professional personal attention from a competent caring vet News Flash. Covid is over! If I want to wait for service in my car I’ll go to Wendy’s. J. Paul & Rita Taylor. & Lucky. Just received a “ Response“from Eastgate Animal Hospital Escalate ??? How in the hell do you escalate a misdiagnosis ? How do you escalate that my dog was critically ill. In severe pain and on his way to being euthanized ? I have facts. I have x rays I suggest that Y’all phone me for an appointment do discuss this situation. Unlike y’all I won’t even bill you for my time. You have my name and phone number as I’ve had several dogs there over the past. Escalate will happen when I report this incident to the state veterinary board.

This is a draining place of work with cliquey employees who will only use you for their benefit because they don’t want to do their job nor teach you and forget going to management because they’ll pretend you haven’t came to them with the issues the entire time. Most of the staff are very rude with attitudes and look right through you and make excuses to not do their job if you’re asking or letting them know what’s going on and will make a new employee be their errand girl but will refuse to train on anything of importance. You can be receiving great reviews from doctors and clients and if you’re not apart of the clique or flat out given a chance regardless of your skill set, other employees will lie on you to management and although management know it’s wrong info they’ll all make you feel uncomfortable to push you out of the establishment. Do not waste your time here if you have an interview. I had several red flags. Someone right before me in my position had quit when I started so they couldn’t train me because of that for some reason so I had three days worth of training to know How they like their phones answered how to schedule an appointment and how to make sheets for the next day appointments and that’s all they had me do and refused to teach me anything else but yet would get upset because I wouldn’t know how to do something. I trained myself on most things. Another girl put her 2 weeks in. Yet they had time to train someone who came in after and management who I went to before someone came in after stated that once certain people were back I would be getting trained by them and treated the way I deserved but that all went out the window too with the lies. I made more money per hour then all those girls because of my skill set and was treated like I didn’t know how to do anything and I think that’s what bothered me the most was they were acting as if I didn’t know how to catch on yet management knew I hadn’t been trained and was allowing that to be said. Anyways I’m over it, just wanted to let others know this is not a great workplace and don’t waste your time. Have a great day!

Seem to overbook their customers... , waited on hold for over 30 minutes in my car on hold after arriving on time for appt. Everyone is sitting around in their cars angry wondering what is going on. I guess they were slammed, not sure how often it happens
