Combs veterinary clinic is very caring. They take care of my kitty cats named Dusty & Viper Rae. I feel like y'all take care of Dusty & Viper every time we are in there. I feel like y'all put Dusty & Viper Care First everytime. Y'all just recently Spayed Viper. With that visit, Combs keep me in the loop the whole time. They texted me updateds and even sent me pictures of her while she had to stay the night there. I feel like y'all truly care about the pets and the owners. Thank you. ???? ????????‍⬛????????‍⬛

We were struggling to find a vet where bunnies could be seen. They made sure to answer all our questions and took their time in treating him. Thank you

I loved the care and thoroughness of the entire staff. My elder doggy (a recent rescue) relished the extra love he got from all the staff too! Thank you all at Coombs Veterinary Clinic:):)

Very happy with all vets and techs here taking care of our dogs. Friendly and helpful when trying to make an appointment, vets listen to you during the exam, and our dogs don't hate going :)

Don’t let the reviews fool you. I have been going to this vet for over 7 years and when I starting taking my pets here they were amazing. They were thorough, kind and understanding. Not anymore. Unfortunately the quality of care here has declined quite a bit over recent years. It’s obvious the priority has shifted from caring for animals to making money off of them. I’m not the only one I know that takes their pets to Combs that has noticed this either. This vet isn’t cheap, and that’s ok for me. I’m willing to pay more to make sure my fur babies are taken good care of but that doesn’t mean I’m a bottomless pit of money and can be juiced for each nickel and dime in the name of my pets health. I would normally NEVER complain about a vet. I have the utmost respect for their work and value animal lives immensely. Yet, I think when this kind of behavior is exhibited where I feel like they’re capitalizing on the love people have for their pets, it needs to be known. Think twice before going to Combs.

I have 6 dogs. I don’t think I could keep them all healthy and happy if I didn’t have the doctors and staff at Combs. Kind, compassionate and happy to see me and my crew. ????

We recently moved to Bloomington. We are looking for a vet for our cats. I have tried contacting this clinic several times over the last month. I have tried the contact form on their website and left a voice-mail as recently as this week. I have never received a response. Maybe someone at the clinic will read this and give me the courtesy of a response.

I am so pleased with my experience at Combs Veterinary Clinic last Friday. They were so friendly and professional! I got an appointment for my Cat fairly quickly and the Veterinarian took care of him and I was very happy. We will definitely be going back for his follow-up visit on June 25 and on many other visits to come.

Combs has gotten our cat, Ruby, in for appointments quickly. They have also worked her in as a drop-off. Their care has been very good. And they also have great patience working with pet owners.

Have taken our animals here for routine care, vaccinations, and even non-emergency cares. They do a good job of taking care of your fur babies.

Wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. My little blind dog loved the tech that came out and got him and brought him back. I haven't been their year's, don't exactly remember why I changed. But my other place couldn't get him in for a rabies shot for over a month. They got me in day after I called. Very pleased.

MILITARY FAMILY STORY!! We took our dog to combs vet clinic for 5 years with our oldest dog. We loved how friendly everyone was that when we adopted our second dog we didn’t question where we wanted to take her. Since covid happened our girl was not socialized enough despite our best efforts. My husband then joined the military and that’s when everything went south for us with this clinic. I have never felt so disregard and questioned why a vet clinic we have loved for years became so rude. To make a long story short my husband and I got orders for overseas if you know anything about the military you understand this is an already very stressful event. I was not only trying to prepare for a big move without my husband, but it was up to me to get all the necessary paperwork completed for our dogs to be flown out. I reached out to combs vet for help & guidance in this process since we had been clients of theirs for years. They NEVER once explained anything that I need to complete. I had multiple appointments with them where I was told we would get started on paperwork, but instead wasted my time & gas with no help. Our story gets worse when they told me to prepare for when we got to where we would be stationed our youngest could be “taken & disposed of” because she has “characteristics” of a banned breed. She is a boxer & lab mix. She made it through and no one even questioned her or gave her a second look. They scared me into thinking something bad would happen to her. I even had a vet tech say “if you can’t take her with you, I’d be happy to take her.” She was probably just being nice, but after hearing something like that you kind of question everyone’s motives. I eventually have had enough and called my husband because we were on a time crunch. I was hysterical because this had been something I was dealing with for 2months. He called them & they gave him a whole different story. I eventually found a military vet that got us in and helped ease my mind and even apologized for everything I had gone through even though they weren’t the ones who did anything. Word of advice if you are a military family please don’t go here! Instead go to Fort Knox Veterinary Treatment Facility. They will make sure everything gets completed and is overall 100% less stressful.

Found out my cat is diabetic, Combs is helping us manage his diabetes. They are very caring and explain everything for me. So glad they are there to help him get through this.
