My puppy had a laparoscopic spay surgery. The same day home and eating :), 2 tiny incisions that healed completely in 5 days. Happy and would highly recommend!

Update: The document (attached) is in both Russian and English (I don't understand Russian either). This over-vaccination could be avoided if the vet can read it with more patient or ask someone to send the document to my car and I can point out where is the raby vaccine. ------------------------------- I bring my new kitten to Christensen Animal Hospital for a health exam, but they try to sell me Rabies vaccine and the feline 3 in 1 vaccine. However in my kitten's health document it clearly shows that my kitten has received one rabies (Biocan R) at 3-month old and two feline 3 in 1 (Biofel PCH) before 16 weeks old. And it only took me 15 mins to google and read the instructions of those vaccines and realize they already provide enough protection to my kitten, and the next vaccine my kitten need is rabies vaccine after 12 month. I rejected the feline 3 in 1 but I accepted the rabies vaccine (over-vaccinated!!!). Wish my kitten will be fine because I read some stories of kitten getting sick after getting a duplicate rabies vaccine. Update: I did more research on the internet and I found the rabies vaccine my kitten had, Riocan R, is suspended for injection. And I agree an extra shot is necessary and also reasonable. I have changed the star from one to three, but not five because their reason for having an extra rabies vaccine for my kitten is wrong (but luckily the results is good).

Non-communicative regarding your pets care. Will attempt to charge you without giving you a bill or summary of services then try and GASLIGHT you over THEIR unprofessional behavior. Save your pet and your health and go somewhere else

I best care provided. Dr Mull is amazing. Very thorough when explaining Luna’s health and needs. The environment is friendly. This is a quaint little vet house with a long driveway and huge lawn right next to the nature center. I always see the boarded dogs being walked and cared for. Luna is always excited to see her vet, which tells you a lot.

My family has taken our dogs to various different animal hospitals over the years and none of them compare to Christensen Animal Hospital. The staff is always super friendly and so caring. The doctors are very thorough and compassionate! My Saint Bernard was always picky about welcoming new people, his previous vet was afraid of his size and never gave him the level of care he deserved. His first visit at Christensen he loved Dr. Moll as if he knew him his whole life! He loved coming to the vet for the rest of his days because he was treated like family. Since his passing, I continue to take my current pets to Christensen, as does most of my family. I would 100% highly recommend Christensen to anyone looking for a vet clinic where your pet is treated like they are family and get top notch care!

If I could rate them NO STARS, I would not hesitate. Do more research than take the first 6 reviews you see that have five stars. They are super unprofessional when it comes to care. Actually, when it comes to everything in general. Tried charging me after my dog was not even EXAMINED. How am I going to be charged for a fee when I do not even know what is going on!? Dr. Mull is super unprofessional. The worse animal hospital I have ever been to. ZERO STARS is the correct rating. Be better and do better. Period.

You will not find a more caring vet anywhere. Been going there for 30 years with all of our 4 legged family members.

This is my kind of veterinary practice. Rock solid competent, but reasonable. It is definitely not my experience that they are test happy/eager. My experience has been that they are quite sensible with their recommendations. I could name another practice in the general area that’ll throw every conceivable thing at you, along with some sanctimony. Either way you go, running every conceivable test or exercising sensible restraint, there’s no guarantee you will be able to identify the issue. Complex life systems are just that—complex. Many folks have unrealistic expectations of doctors and veterinarians.

My family has been bringing our pets to Christensen for decades. The doctors and staff really care about what they do and understand that pets are part of the family and treat them accordingly. Love their dedication and commitment.

We went during Covid for a nail trim as our usual vet did not have enough staff to do it. For abt. $29.00 our Cockapoo also got a bath and ear cleaning as well. Though we could not go inside, the vet techs that got her from our car were very courteous & our Sweetie was comfortable with them. I will explore their services further.

I brought my 8 week old puppy here just a few days ago and without hesitation, I'll be bringing her here for the long haul. During these difficult times, a fantastic staff that despite the necessary social distancing, went above and beyond to take my puppy on for the first time. I am very relieved and happy to have found such an amazing vet and I can't thank them enough.

Dr. Moll is a wonderful vet and has taken care of my pets for many years. He has excellent judgment and is very skilled and compassionate. The staff is caring and friendly. I would not go anywhere else.

They over charge and run test after test and give you no answers. I never met my vet and never figured out what was wrong with my pet. I would not recommend this animal hospital to anyone. Really disappointing after spending $1100 to get no answers from them.

Just moved to IL and went to this hospital for the first time yesterday and I have to say I'm impressed! Some good points are: (1) My corgi pup was handled with care (2) the techs were very professional and at the same time personal, and (3) The vet was super informative. He took time to explain everything (and was very patient with me asking a little too many question haha). I've taken my pup to three different hospitals in her life and definitely had the best experience here. 10/10 for sure!!

We have been friends and patients at Christensen for 20 years. We have seen our first two bichons live to 17 and 18 years thanks to the wonderful treatment they received there. Dr. Moll and his staff have been compassionate, loving, and technically expert in caring for our past and current dogs. We also have used Christensen for all our boarding needs, and feel completely comfortable and confident in leaving each of the dogs in their care. My family has nothing but good things to say, and Stan and Iggy thank everyone as well!

Do they check in birds?

Dr. Moll is the best. No one cares more about you animal than his team. Hobbs highly recommends him.

All our pets have been well cared for by Dr. Moll and his associates. We have been going there more than 15 years with two dogs and six or seven cats. No complaints ever. The clinic is set back off the main road (Hibbard just at the intersection with Skokie Blvd) and arriving at the spacious property and parking under the beautiful old catalpa trees with no worries about your pet getting into traffic is a huge initial plus.

Love this place - clean facilities, convent checkout (they do it in the exam room so you don't have to fiddle with your wallet while wrangling your pet in the lobby), they always follow up to check in on pet after a visit. Diagnosed & fixed up our pup after she injured her paw & also use this place for check-ups, vaccines, & other preventatives.

I brought my 2 cats for an initial visit with Christensen. The whole place was clean and seemed well cared for. The women at the front desk were kind and efficient. My cats were treated well, my questions were answered. I especially appreciated learning about my cats nutritional needs and how best to feed them. I thought I was doing a good job but learned a lot about how to optimize their health!

Loved our visit with Dr. Moll! He gave our cat a thorough check-up and gave us a lot of good advice for taking care of her.

They saved my dog, Maggie. She had a rare tumor and the other vet gave her 3 months to live. She has made it another 2 years so far.

We love Christensen's staff - they take such good care of our furbabies! They know we are price sensitive and give us variably priced treatment options when possible.

We took our rat terrier to Christensen Animal Hospital this past week for a allergy shot a few days ago. They are very knowledgeable and very kind and have given our pets excellent care for 19 years

We appreciate the care given to our pets at Christensen for 40 years! We moved to Wilmette in 1978 with a German Shepard (Madchen) and have been a client ever since (even after moving to the Loop in '03). Here is Lord Winston.

Christensen's have looked after our English springer spaniel Percie so well these past 8 years, after bringing him here from the UK. He is so well loved and looked after, whether we are bringing him in for treatment or for boarding. He wags his tail as we approach the door....dogs don't lie!!

I couldn't be happier with the warm and friendly attention my pet receives at Christensen Animal Hospital. Any question an owner has no matter how complicated is answered completely so that all parties are on the same page when it comes to your pets care. Dr. Moll is an outstanding vet and along with the entire staff make Christensen Animal Hospital five stars.

Our pups have been with Dr Moll for over 30 years. We have been through 4 cancers, Cushings disease and one of our Goldens survived a life threatening accident with a car on Lake Avenue in Wilmette. The vets, vet techs and staff are over the top fabulous. I trust them completely and am grateful for the quality of care they continue to provide.
