Very pleased with the Doctor and staff.

I've been going here since 2007. Dr. Bill has taken care of all my furbabies. I will not go anywhere else.

It’s unfortunate that the 4/5 star reviews show first. They deserve less if possible. We brought our dog in for abnormal behavior, they recommended blood tests to evaluate. The vet proceeded to tell us “good news! His blood test came back okay. You have nothing to worry about” They sent us home with medication to help with his lack of appetite. Two days later, we grew more concerned and decided to go to Coyne in Crown point. We requested that our blood tests be sent from Vale to Coyne, convienently, the vet decided to leave us a voicemail saying “I recommend you get a second opinion”. Coyne’s sense of urgency was far greater, and they were concerned with his labs. He was diagnosed with cancer, and it was spreading aggressively. We put our dog to sleep two days ago.

I take all my animals there. Got started when I adopted through lake shore paws and got forever wellness with them.

They certainly aren't the cheapest vet around but they have great service and I trust them with all my furry friends.

Had a great 1st visit with Dr Bill. Answered all my questions and staff was very helpful and nice.

Just want to apologize for those who missed their lunch hour. Would not have brought our dog in on a Monday afternoon if we had known we were being charged for an emergency visit(wasn't an hour visit). I've worked as a caregiver and missed many lunches when clients need a little extra help and when things get busy but never have I billed them. Other than this misunderstanding we liked Vale Park.

I was picking up my Father's dog "Tebo," who LOVES to hang at "The Lodge" but this time he was coming home with me in my Jeep. It was his first time in the Jeep...and he struggled to jump up high enough to get inside. The amazing women who work at The Lodge came to the rescue - IN THE RAIN - one of them placed a plastic toy step by the back door of the Jeep, another opened the other side door and coaxed Tebo onto the step and into my Jeep with a treat. I can't thank the Team at Vale Park Lodge enough for everything they did that day to make it easier for me to bring Tebo home. He loves to hang out with everyone there - but was so excited to ride home in the Jeep! THANK YOU!!!!

I love dr.bill he listens to your concerns about your pet and takes great care of them! The staff is also nice.

I cannot say enough great things about Vale Park. We drive from Crown Point because our dog receives the best care here. We usually visit Dr. Sheller and could not be happier with her expertise and patience. We have never had a bad experience here. Receptionists, techs, and all staff are always professional and friendly. Highly recommend.

Honestly I was expecting to be severely reprimanded for waiting so long to bring in one of my rats to see the vet, but Dr. Harsy was really kind and understanding. She was also very through with her exam of my rat and while surgery was an option, she did not push it as the first choice. The rest of the staff was also super friendly and the facility was very clean.

Dr. Brent is the best, most caring, and intelligent vet I have ever met.

usually have very plesent staff and only once have had a bad experience with one of the vets who was somewhat rude and rough with my dog during her check up.

As usual clean, curtious and efficient. Receptionist terrific with my dog and Dr. Bill and aid was informant. Terrific experience here.

So I am one of those crazy anxious pet owners who is constantly worried about my dogs health. I'm here pretty frequently. The staff is always super kind, supportive, and reassuring. They never make me feel like wasting their time or being a burden. They take great care of my dog every time he is in.

Staff was so accommodating even with the pandemic, they helped show me to clean my pets ears correctly and I never worry when they take my kitty back. First time coming to this clinic, and I will definitely be a returning animal owner!

Thanks for accepting my little furry,, Precious over the weekend stay,,, I felt she was in good hands,,, an the evening staff said how Precious was a good puppy . She seemed so happy when I picked her up.. she will be visiting soon. Thanks

Very friendly and professional staff. The day care for our dog is a wonderful way to get her exercise and socialization she needs while we are at work.

Love my vet at this place. Will not trust my animals anywhere else. That being said, boarded my dogs here for the first time. One is old and arthritic. He came back reeking of urine and very dirty, as if he fell repeatedly and they did nothing to help or clean him. The other one also came back with a cut on his stomach, and no explanation or disclosure was provided. Will not be boarding them here again.
