I have just taken my little dog to this vet, having been recommended by a colleague at PAWS animal shelter. So happy with everything! Dr Rosecrans and her receptionist/vet tech were so pleasant. I was seen at the allotted appointment time, a very pleasant change from my last experience at my former vets. They treated my dog so well and I will definitely be going there in the future. Highly recommended.

Grateful to have found dr rose. She and her staff are awesome. They have accommodated seeing our cats who have a virus on an emergency basis. Her prices are fair and reasonable. I feel confident that she is helping me get my cats to perfect health. Kind, professional, and very thorough.

I am not one to leave bad reviews but this one was irritating. We are new to the neighborhood and this was our first time coming here. We were told to come early to fill out paperwork, in which we came 15 minutes early so that we could leave enough time for our appointment. When we were done filling out our paperwork, we got sat in a room for over an hour with nobody checking in. I understand having to wait to see a vet, as they are busy people. But an hour and 20 minutes is ridiculous. I’ve waited less time in an ER. Unless you're the type of person who loves going to six flags without a fast pass and waiting for hours, you might want to reconsider.

We love everyone at Meadow Brook - we knew many of the staff from our previous vet who has since retired and we are so glad to have Dr. Rosecranz for our fur family

My wife recently brought are 11 year old dog to the clinic where she had been going since she was a pup. The visit was for a teeth cleaning and to remove several cysts that had developed around her face and neck area. The doctor had previously advised my wife that it would be best to remove the cysts when our dog would be getting her teeth cleaned next. When my wife arrived at the clinic, the doctor was running late, and my wife returned an hour later. When my wife met with the doctor, she asked about the cyst removal. The doctor stated she did not have time for that. My wife reminded the doctor that she told my wife that it would be best to remove the cysts when the teeth were cleaned. At that time, the doctor became belligerent to my wife and stated, “You people are too needy. You need to go somewhere else.” The doctor proceeded to walk out the door without another word. So after 11 years, we got the records for our dog and made an appointment elsewhere. We all have our bad days, and I have no idea why the doctor would be that unprofessional but WOW, that was soooooo unprofessional. We also brought our dog in earlier this year due to a torn ACL. The doctor advised my wife that the dog would probably need surgery and gave us a name of surgeon. I thought it would be best to get a second opinion, so we saw a different doctor. The second doctor recommended rest for 3 weeks, and evaluate from there. The doctor stated with smaller dogs like ours, the scar tissue that forms around the injury may be enough after time for the dog to be able to function normally. We chose that option and it worked out fine, saving us thousands of dollars, even though we would have gone through with the surgery if needed. This is probably only the second time I have ever taken the time to write a review, but I think the doctor’s unprofessional behavior warranted the review. We all love our pets, but if you think you might be “too needy” look elsewhere.

Unhappy with my experience here. Besides getting no answer to the issue I brought my pet in for, I specifically said to the receptionist I thought my cat was past due for her distemper shot and was told they'd look at the records and if needed they'd give it to her. When I didn't get charged for a shot I figured I was mistaken on it being past due, nope it was due in February. A good vet tries to get everything possible done in one visit, not only to avoid stress on the animal but to avoid unnecessary costs. I was also told to drop off a stool sample and they'd call me and never heard a word on it after drop Off. Not sure what I paid for that day. I will not return.

Loved this place! We brought our family dog (American Bully) and they did so well with him! He walked out of there healed up, happy and not stressed at all. They explained everything and calmed us down as well (:

Dr. Rosecrans goes above and beyond for all of her patients. She is incredibly intelligent, compassionate and always available! I would not allow anyone else to care for my four legged children!

I’ve only taken one of my cats here, but so far everything has been great. Dr. Rose was amazing with my Wrigley, and she can be quite sassy sometimes. ???? Dr. Rose and Meadow Brook Animal Clinic were recommended to me by my previous vet who retired. I know my furbabies are in good hands with Dr. Rose and the staff at Meadow Brook. I know that when I take my Comiskey here in a few months that everything will be great! I would definitely recommend to anyone who is in search of a great vet and friendly and experienced staff!

Dr Rosecranz is the best vet I have been too. Extremely kind and compassionate. I have recommended her to everyone of my pet loving friend's. My boxer loves her also. It's not often that you see a vet sit down on the floor and play with your dog. I'm going there when I get sick.

Meadowbrook helped me so compassionately that I will be forever grateful. My precious dog had liver failure and needed to be put to sleep. I cannot express how WONDERFUL they were to both of us. Their sensitivity was precious to me.

As I am a pet sitter I find myself visiting the vet often. Dr. ROSECRANS and her staff have taken me in swiftly and with right on target diagnosing when Emergencies happen. My own two Poms enjoy their visits also, I highly recommend this clinic.

Vet removed small unusual bump off my dogs back, didn't tell us it was cancer, didn't remove it properly either. Now the cancer has taken over my dog and he has 2 months left. Never again. Switching vets for my cat that is fortunately still alive

The veterinarian and the staff were very knowledgeable and knew exactly what was wrong with our dog. The location is small but very clean which was a good experience for our dog.

How can you tell a good doctor from a not so good doctor......ask your aunt sally ,or maybe the nice guy across the street,ect.NO...you have to ask someone who works in that field and has the knowledge from being part of the industry.Thats how I came to find this amazing doctor. We were away down in flordia when my dog Adrian needed to be seen by a vet,not knowing any there I asked around and meet a women who is a caregivers of disabled animals and animal rehab practitioner for the past 20 years. She refered me to a vet down there that was wonderful....it was such a great experience that when I saw here later in the week to thank her I said I wish there were vets like this up where we live...The next day she gave me the Meadow Brook Animal Clinic info and said I would be in good hands there...Well when we got back to Illinois Adrian needed to see a vet so that's where I took her...I cant put into words the trust I have in dr.rose..when she said my dog needed surgery i was scared of having it done (Adrian was 12 years old) .... but then she assured me that it would be the only way to get her back to normal and I agreed to do it..Well she did the surgery and everything went just as she said and that was almost a year ago and I can say this is the first in about 7 years that my dog has a normal life again......the other bonus I got was when allergy season came in august and I asked her if there was anything she can do for my dogs allergy problems she gave us a non steroid pill that made her itching and scratching go away.....the bottom line here is the other vets I used during those years kept my dog stable, but dr. rose healed her......THAT THE DIFFERENCE! So make sure you use tough standards when selecting a veterinarian, just as you would when hiring an attorney, a doctor, or an accountant to handle your taxes.

The entire staff at Meadow Brook Animal Clinic is wonderful. They love animals and show compassion and care to every patient and their owners. I know they give my dog the best treatments possible. Dr Rose is an outstanding Vet. In the past I have used other clinics and did not get the same confidence in care. My sister is now a fan of this clinic and I have recommended it to friends. I love the fact that they bring their animals to work with them. My dog is in love with one of her cats.
