Outstanding customer service! Very friendly, helpful staff and vet. Everyone here from receptionist to vet went above and beyond for us as new clients who needed an international health certificate to fly our dog. The customer service at this office is beyond outstanding. They made phone calls to verify what we needed, moved up our appointment to accommodate getting the certificate back in the mail from the agricultural vet in Springfield, IL in time for our flights. They researched things to make sure all i’s were dotted and t’s were crossed. We couldn’t have asked for better service. So thankful for this office and their assistance.

We always have a pleasant experience at South Town! The office staff is always super friendly, they show how much they love all the pets that come in. The vet techs and vets are always super informative always answering any question I have or finding an answer. Jax and Zer0 are so loved here, highly recommend!

More and more often I've realized that numerous veteranarians are in this practice for the wrong reasons or have simply lost their passion and love for what they do. At Southtown this is not the case . My husband and I rescue all the time and foster and that means multiple vet visits. Thus far this clinic is by far our favorite for the love and attention my four legged friend received to the care and compassion they had for the owners.

The staff are all loving and caring of their patients. Very sensitive to the animal. And patient Snarly pants creatures like our Cairn Terrier.

I have already reviewed South Town Animal Hospital in the past when I gave them 5 stars then but some things are worth repeating.Not only are they expert's at what they do they treat your pet and you with so much love and kindness. And always help and go out of their way to help your family with what ever you need. I would never trust anyone or any other place to take care of my pets. They are the best choice for veterinarian care in the area that there is.

After living in the area for 5 plus years and multiple fails at various veterinarian offices, a friend recommended I take my senior boxer to Dr. Groth. My dog was older, I didn't need aggressive treatment, I just needed to let him live his last few years happily. So many animal clinics in the area were pushing flu shots, aggressive dental work and a variety of other unheard of vaccinations....... my dog was 11.... I didn't want to spend a crazy amount of money.... my family just wanted to keep him happy. Dr Groth and Dr Cody honored this wish. They were kind and compassionate and understood the heart of a senior dog owner. In a world where other veterinarian offices are pushing treatments to make money, I never felt pushed or judged at this clinic for saying no. A month ago, I called Dr Groth to seek advice, knowing that the end may be near for our sweet Zeus. She gave advice that best fit our dog and family atmosphere with 4 busy human kids. Last week was Zeus's last, and Dr Cody and her team were more than patient and kind as I uncontrollably and hysterically balled my eyes out. Kudos to a team that understands the bigger picture and compassionately love on their furry friends. I hope your office thrives because of your honesty and integrity.
