This place is awful. I went here a couple times prior and things went better. There is always a long wait, hours upon hours. I know this going in and am fine with it. But, if you immediately put us into an exam room, immediately get checked out by a tech, most would assume the dr would be in relatively soon. (No one said anything to me about how long the wait might be). I sat alone in the room with my cat for 2 hours. Not one person came in, checked on us, or gave us any type of update. It got to the point I thought we were forgotten about. I came out and asked the receptionist about how much longer it would be, and she said other cases had come in, and at least another hour. So they were going to let us sit in an exam room for 3+ hours without ever being notified or updated about anything? Not to mention how much more time bloodwork and all that would taken. I commented that it would’ve been considerate to have given me a heads up about the wait, and the front desk lady just started fighting and Interrupting me that they don’t have to do that, they can’t control who comes in or the wait etc. I get that, but you are missing the point- to have people sitting in exam rooms for HOURS- and not have someone pop in for 5 seconds to say there is an extended wait, ask if we are ok and not feel forgotten about. I mean we were expected to sit in that room in silence from 7p- what midnight or beyond? She was so rude and unempathetic, it sealed the deal I will never return here.

Was told they were very busy with crisis pet emergencies….after the 3 1/2 hrs we had waited and still no vet even came in to do an evaluation. My poor pooch had been vomiting and lethargic and most likely needed an iv to rehydrate. I could have spoon feed him teaspoons of water every 15 minutes at home and been ahead….never will return here!

What a great experience. Our dog had mysterious neurological symptoms out of the blue (thought stroke). Got him in around 8pm and they determined (prior to a $ doctor consultation) that he likely ingested some sort of marijuana/CBD product. They see this 2-3x a night! Super impressed with them (they were right, he was fine the next morning) and no charge. Wow!

I had to take my dog there for an emergency. I was terrified and sick to my stomach. When I called they told me to come right in. Right when I got there they helped me get him out of car and we were seen right away. The vet, techs, staff were amazing. Talked me through what they were going to do and what the procedure would be and treatment. Even offered me their own experience with their dogs (who had gotten into fight like mine). Forever grateful!

Our dog needed a delicate grooming procedure done that our normal groomer could not do. We called and they took us right away. Nicole took very good care of our toy poodle. We will be coming back.

Gulf Rose is honestly exceptional. My cat needed emergency surgery and they took him in that day and fixed him up. I think they are reasonably priced and it's a really nice facility.

We have been using golf rose over many years for every dog we have brought for care. Great doctors. Staff ok. Prices high. Very comfortable coming here. Always take good care of our dog.

IT WAS A NIGHTMARE. After 13 yrs it was time to put our baby (Yorkie) down. It was an absolute nightmare. They made the last minutes of her life just horrible. This wasn't the first time we had to put a dog down and I don't remember it anything like this. They took our baby away from us to put the needle in ...I could hear her screeching. We were given almost no time to say goodbye and she had a look of Terror on her face so we did hurry. Like I said this wasn't the first time we've put a dog down and last time it was peaceful and calming. This time it was a horror show. The last image they provided for my wife and I will haunt us for the rest of our lives. There were dozens of things that happen thatorning that proves the people in charge were inexperienced and anything but compassionate. Don't take your dog here unless you have a vet there that you trust. Don't trust ER dr.s IT WAS a horror show ...

I took my cat in June and they mis diagnosed him after he kept showing symptoms of FIP(Feline corona virus). They ended up diagnosing him with Heart disease and we took him else where after and they diagnosed him with FIP. Wasted 2k at this hospital Just to be drained from fluids and given some heart pills that were very stale. The pills seem to be expired or something. NEVER trusting this hospital ever again 2k could’ve been used to treat my poor cat with FIP. I’ve never left a bad review anywhere until now.

The practice runs on time. The doctor and techs were very kind, patient and responsive. They answered all questions and were extremely gentle with a senior dog who was not happy to be there. They take Covid precautions seriously. I thought they were a bit pricey but I have noticed vet costs are creeping up so I presume they are competitive. I would go "out of my way" to go there. Also very helpful that you can get meds and prescription dog food there.

Care about money before you care about animals! The worst thing a vet can do!!! I really wish I could tell You how I feel but there would be a lot of curse words!!!!

Dr. Lou Kurzeja has been our ????‍⬛ vet for over 20 years. She has skillfully and cheerfully guided us through feline diabetes, renal failure, heart disease, hyperthyroidism, and cancer. We love her so much that we recently traveled 4 hours to bring our cats back to her for blood work. Look no more. You have found your vet.

The day I visited, they kept telling me that the small animal expert was coming in and to be patient. Waited until it got dark, had to walk out in the end. I wished they could've just told me to go elsewhere. I think this place is great for dogs and cats, but not for other animals. It's been years, I hope things have changed.

I want to write something about this place It’s a big place but there’s a nurse and her name is dr Roney And also That she’s prepared and studied but in reality she doesn’t have nothing about professionalism or potencial Because my dog it doesn’t have nothing he was so sick he needed to b operate it urgent and all the operations came out $5000 and she wanted it to kill my dog by telling me to make him fall sleep also she made a lot of offensive comments towards my dog and my family Saying that we wasn’t gonna pay knowing that she’s professional so I don’t really recommend this place or if u guys want to go just ask for someone else not for her because she doesn’t care about dogs life she’s Dr Roney not professional the only thing that she cares about it’s the money

We have been bringing our dog there since he was a puppy and have been coming back for 5+ years. The veterinarians have been really good and the assistants are sweet. Our pup hates coming but having peanut butter and treats on hand surely helps! Location is easy to find and access, rooms are decent size and private, and staff are very friendly. Highly recommend using them for your pets needs.

Take my dogs here for grooming and it used to be good but this last time was really bad. I asked for my dogs toe nails to be trimmed and they charged me $5 and never did it. Or they did some but not all of his toes so he was in pain with the bad length differences. Seriously doubt they brushed his teeth but they charged for that too. They also knicked him in several places one of which was on his elbow and it got infected and he had to have a course of antibiotics for 2 weeks.

I have a very anxious dog that requires sedation both before we leave for the vet and also when we arrive at the vet office; but for our last visit he was absolutely refusing his meds. It was really important that we saw our vet that day given his symptoms, so our vet (Dr. McClure) is so incredible that she came out to our car to evaluate him so we didn't have to go inside. And it's not just this one instance that makes me love Golf Rose and Dr. McClure so much - we've been taking our animals there for about 17 years, and every single experience has been great. But I will give you the good with bad as well. Have there been times where our visit took forever because our vet had to handle an emergency before us? Yes. But we've been on the other side of that situation where it was OUR dog needing to be seen immediately, and there were other owners that had their appointments delayed because we were being treated first. Animal emergencies are unpredictable and you need to keep in mind that Golf Rose is one of the few 24/7 animal hospitals in the area, so yes they get busy. But please remember that when you are seen, you are getting excellent care and compassion, and both you and your animals will always be treated with respect. I adore Golf Rose and can't imagine going anywhere else!

In terms of care, the staff is great. Friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. Logistically speaking, however, appointments have been consistently and severely delayed. The last 4 visits have been the same: show up on time, check in via phone, wait 45 MINUTES (this is not an exaggeration) for them to come to the car to fetch the dog. 10-15 minutes after the appointment time would be expected. 30 minutes is pushing it. 45 minutes is unacceptable. --- Update: wait times are still a bit long, but the team is obviously doing their best with the staff on hand. My dog had a dental cleaning and an extraction recently and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. Thanks for the excellent care!!

Before taking our dog here I called and talked to Megan! She was super helpful when it came to the questions about the care for my dog! We decided to take our dog here to get a second opinion, since she had a open wound on her face! We called when we got there and with in 40 minutes Ashley came to our car to inform us she has talked to VSC and looked at out dogs open wound to make sure it did not need stitches! She did not and suggest we continue with the medication that was prescribed as well as what to look out for! Both ladies were super helpful and wonderful to speak with! Thank you for helping us with out little Lillian

Let me count the ways this place sucks. First of all, I have never been in a place that takes forever to be seen and to be checked out. Today was the final straw. I have a dog that needed to be seen for a growth in his mouth. I called ahead to see what the emergency situation was, because I'm not sitting in the parking lot for 2 hours waiting to be seen. I got up at 6:00 and called. There was a message saying that they couldn't take any calls. What?! The same thing happened last week. So, I went in anyway. There was one person, ONE PERSON, waiting to be seen. They couldn't take a call? Really? I haven't had a problem with any of the vets. The front desk person was the final straw. That, and the fact that there was no reason for that phone message. I have 4 dogs, and they have lost them all as customers. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!!

Have been taking my pets to Golf Rose for more then 20 years. Dr McKlure is the most compassionate and knowledgeable vet that I continue to bring my pets to. She amazes us on how much she remembers about each pet. During difficult times she has been there for us helping to make decisions in the best interest of the dogs
