*Efficiently Ran* Dr Savitt is Extremely Intelligent + Patient! VERY Friendly Staff! My dog has been a patient for ~6 Yrs. They gained his trust + cooperation right away! BRAVO

Our 8 - month -old puppy, a Boykin spaniel was very sick. X-ray showed bowel obstruction and had to have emergency surgery. We were 5 hours away out of town and couldn’t afford and transfer him to another facility. But thank God Dr John Abel took a risk and able to do the surgery the next day. We are so grateful for what he did to save the life of our dog. He is an exceptional Veterinarian and have a good heart. We are grateful.

I just got a puppy and was super nervous with COVID that I wouldn't be able to be in the room with my pup. Harper came highly recommended so I gave them a try and I couldn't be more pleased! From my first phone call to the receptionist, she took the time to answer each and every one of my million questions. The tech who came out to get my puppy was very sweet which put my mind at ease. Dr. Fritz called me with updates from the appointment and again answered all my millions of questions. The process was simple and sweet. The scheduling was easy and with lots of time options. All in all HIGHLY recommend. I know my puppy was and will continue to be in good care with Harper!

The Receptionists need a wake up call on their attitudes over there! They seemed very impatient and rude when asking questions/ making an appointment. I don’t understand how they think someone, especially as a new client would give them a chance if they are being treated with nasty/rude attitudes? How would they treat my animals behind closed doors?! Don’t trust them by their unprofessional attitudes!

Dr. Abel and his staff are so understanding and patient with our dog. He has several issues including some anxiety and seizures and Dr. Abel, receptionists and the vet techs make sure he is comfortable and always answer all our questions. I highly recommend them and would not take him anywhere else.

Decent. Although, it seems like Vets never stay around long. Ive seen about 4 different vets in the last 6 years or so..

Nothing but wonderful experiences. Always available to help and takes times to explain. Dr. Able has been terrific in helping us with very old dog.

Dr. Savitt delivered all the information I needed to know about my dog in a professional manner that I could understand. We moved here recently from the south and they do things a bit different down there. Dr. Savitt was thorough while explaining the purpose of specific vaccines. You can tell in her delivery that she is passionate about her profession and caring for our babies! The staff were equally as professional and helpful. I am so disappointed by the care my cat received at this vet. I took him there because he was showing symptoms of a URI. From the time that the tech came to get him from my car and the vet called me to say he “examined” him was 4 minutes. He then gave him an injection and I asked if they’d cut his nails. Not even 5 minutes later and he’s back in the car, the whole process from start to finish took less than 10 minutes. A few days later he started getting worse so I called the front desk who dismissed my concerns and said to wait another week. Well then he started sneezing blood so I called back again. The receptionist again was dismissive and cut me off in the middle of talking to end the conversation. I took him to a different vet who said the initial treatment prescribed was wrong and that injection is not effective in treating URIs. If the receptionist wasn’t so cold toward me I would have been able to write this situation off as a mistake, but when someone is clearly in distress and you rush them off the phone and make them feel that their concerns are invalid is upsetting.

We absolutely love the staff at Harper Animal Hospital! They've been taking care of our special needs dog for 4 years now and are always so patient. He's a rescue that was abused and unfortunately has a “unique” personality as a result. The staff has never judged him for it and are always so kind, understanding and accommodating. I can't recommend them enough. Thank you for all that you do!

Taken dogs here for awhile. The vets turn over kind of often, but the care has always been top notch.

Went with my cousin to her rat's vet appointment. The Dr. and staff were so kind and helpful. Lobby was very neat and clean. If they weren't so far from my home, I'd absolutely take my pets here

This hospital has been amazing! They took such great care of our fur-baby. Dr. Abel And his staff are knowledgeable and compassionate. There is no other place we would ever take our furry family members.

They told me to try back in a couple months... so just let the puppy die and bring his body in??

I can't thank them enough for their compassion and understanding how difficult to pass our 18 year old cat over the rainbow bridge. The staff was thoughtful and caring understanding and so very patient. I cannot recommend them enough for pet care.

Been a reptile owner for a while I was impressed. Even the intro effort you fill out asked about husbandry which is important. The doctor seemed very knowledgeable.

Called to ask a question. Woman told me they’re not taking new pets and hanged up on me. Good to know now to use them in the future. If they don’t pay them big $$$ they won’t even talk to you.

Lucifer is decidedly not the easiest patient to deal with. But Dr. Grabowski has always taken the best care of him. He is given the love and care as if he belonged to her. We won't go anywhere else, whatever it is he needs from a claw trim to making sure he doesn't have GI stasis. Lucifer is an adult mini rex rabbit (pic was taken at home) and he is incredibly important to us.

Great vet techs. Wonderful vet! Easy appointment scheduling.
