Kentuckiana Animal Clinic Owensboro, Illinois

I wish to thank the on call staff at Kentuckian that came in to take care of my baby that found and chewed on a fish hook. The staff is wonderful and we are very grateful for their fast arrival and efficient work. As a healthcare worker myself I know what’s it’s like to be on call so I’m very thankful and appreciate their hard work.

New to Kentucky they got both dogs in right away,pleasant and caring staff,explained everything to me and provided all I needed,and planned on going care for both the senior dogs. I can't express in words how wonderful my experience was. Will tell everybody that I know to give them a call. Thank you again Kentuckiana

They were able to get my cat in right away. I had called several other vets and they were booked for the whole week, Kentuckiana told me to bring him right away to be evaluated and they would work him in. Wonderful staff!

Kentuckiana is always welcoming and wonderful. Dr. Dunaway is the absolute best with both cats and dogs and exotics. Everyone there is super nice and understanding.

Dr Dunaway has helped my lizard upon several occasions , and so far everything seems to be working !! Other than that everyone is friendly and always willing to help ! :)

We were 15 minutes late, i had called to tell them we would be late. Toby went out at 5:30am. He is usually back by 9 am. His appointment was set for 10am. Toby showed up at 9:50am. I called vet back to tell them we were on our way. We live 15 miles from them. We arrived at 10:15 am. They were concerned that Toby might have to be dropped off to be seen because of how late we were. But, Vet said she would see him. She examined Toby. He got a shot. She found he had an ear infection and ordered a prescription . The vet and tect were kind,helpful, and concerned. I thank them for being so hospitable and professional and kind.

I took my golden retriever there for grooming. She was nervous and scared but was treated very kindly and patiently

Dr. Dunaway got my pup in within an hour on a Sunday. My Sammy is not a normal PT here, but they got us in anyway. She explained all my dogs options and treatment plans. The office literally broke down my entire bill with pricing of each treatment option. And they did list more than 1 option for me. It was affordable and cheapest I have seen. I love this place and am switching vets.

They are really compassionate and helped in dealing with loss of a beloved pet. Highly recommend

The staff was very helpful to me in a stressful situation, and were very kind and caring to my Ellery. They are concerned and offered suggestions for care of my pet and answered any questions. They are quick to get back with me on phone calls and requests. I feel very good about taking Ellery to Kentuckiana Animal Clinic.

I can’t say enough good things about the staff. Everyone there is always kind and compassionate. I am thankful for their willingness to help and take care of Presley when he was very ill. I’ve had trouble finding an animal Veterinarian since losing my vet. Most are too busy, have no patience and overly priced. So happy to have found KAC. ????????????

My puppy had a cough and had been puking for about a week, so we brought him in on the 24th of August to be seen. They just sent him home with antibiotics, they did no testing on him what so ever. He kept slowly getting worse on September 1st he was very sick and to the point he was passing out. I called Kentuckiana during emergency hours and was immediately put on hold as soon as she picked up. I waited on hold for 5 minutes before I gave up and called another clinic. He ended up passing away from an extremely bad infection of hookworms. I’m extremely upset with Kentuckiana and will never be going back, if they had ran test on him we could have got him the treatment he needed to help him. If i could give zero stars I would. Very unprofessional and unreliable.

I switched to this vet from another in Owensboro that I had multiple bad experiences with. I am so very glad that I switched to Kentuckiana Animal Clinic because they have been so much better! The doctors and the techs and so nice and polite. They truly care for the animals, and explain everything thoroughly and are upfront with their pricing. I won’t take my dog anywhere else!

Thank you all so much for helping itty-bitty, I don't have a lot, but I have 3 cats that mean everything to me, and you all took very good care of her,I thank you from the bottom of my heart, mama kitty and lil buddy thanks you too!!!

Dr. Runaway and the vet tech were very thorough and answers all our questions about the up coming surgery with our fur baby. She instills trust and very easy to talk to. Highly, highly recommend this clinic!

Last minute visit for Maggie. She had something in her eye and the Dr saw her and treated her immediately. Medications were expensive but the office visit charge was reasonable. I trust Kentuckians with the care of our Doxies!

We took our animals to Kentuckiana when I was a kid. I started taking my own pets there as an adult. Caring ,kind staff that I can not say enough good things about. My dog loves all the staff. We usually see Dr Boarman when we go, but if she's busy anyone there will do.

The worse experience and treatment I have ever received in my entire life. I would try saving my animal myself before turning to kentuckiana for anything.

My pup stayed overnight this past weekend d/t being sick. Dr. Basham was very quick to come in and take care of my pup on a Sunday evening. She is very knowledgeable and kept me updated throughout his stay. Staff was very professional! Thank you Dr. Basham and staff!! I highly recommended Kentuckiana!

I am very thankful to this vet. They didn't have any appointments available but they were happy to get my cat in to be seen. They were very curtious and was very good with my cat. I would recommend them to anyone. They were the only vet in town that cared enough to see my cat. Great job!!
