The level of customer service at this store far exceeds many establishments I’ve visited in a long time! Who ever is running this store should give trainings to all store managers on how to properly treat customers. The staff greeted us from the beginning and thanked us for our business at the end and were super helpful in between! Customer service is something I felt has basically went away during the pandemic but this store changed my mind!

Great selection of high quality products. If you do not see it on the shelf, ask someone, the probably have it in the back. They also price match!!! Recently remodeled and they added dog grooming and self-service dog washing.

This is my go to store for my dog and rag doll cat. Everyone is friendly and very helpful. From the food,treats,toys and all the supplies, they have a vast number of choices. And let’s not forget their sales!

Bought a pet door for our older dog. The staff was very helpful, no other places had this size at this price. Installation was a little tricky, but I got exactly what I asked for. The store itself has a lot going on. My kids love watching the fish in the aquariums. It actually really helps when you need a few things and the kids have something to look at. They also have a grooming service on location. The food selection is expansive, with many quality brands to choose from. I don't own birds, fish, or reptiles, but it looks like a good selection of habitats, food, toys, and more for those animals as well. Another thing to remember is this is a dedicated pet store, the staff is going to be very knowledgeable about these products because they probably have used it. I highly recommend this store, specifically the Mundelein location.

Employees are very knowledgeable and welcoming. Im here every other week for crickets and they're very consistent and prepared. Prices are okay but not overpriced I'd say.

Brought our senior crabby dog and our high energy puppy in for a much needed spa day. Felt very comfortable leaving them in Haley’s care, she was very thorough in our quick drop off conversation. Our senior dog has bad knees and hates her nails touched, our puppy is a social butterfly with minimal grooming experience - Haley walked me through how she would handle both dogs in a way to accommodate their specific stressors. They spent over 3 hours out of the house, we got some separation time in, and they came home relaxed, with good attitudes and smelling fantastic. They were bathed, brushed, nails trimmed, ears cleaned and teeth brushed. They both got bandanas and we did some fun spa add-on’s as well! Will definitely be back!

I guess I've been spoiled at the North Aurora store all these years with the self-service dog wash (but no longer live over there). Thankfully I used up my last two card punches, because I will not be back. The hose is a tight spiral that is way too stiff/doesn't go very far/gets in your dog's face, noose attachments in the wrong place, water was FREEZING (yes, I had it adjusted to the warmest setting) and by the time I got to my second dog she was flat out shivering, and I wish someone said you were on a timer- blow dryer went off well before I was done with my big dogs. Thankfully I was the only one using the wash room, because it would be tight if it is full and if you have a second dog looped to the wall it would be bad news.
