As we all know there not much in Petco besides food supplies and consumables. They have few animals for sale, but most are overpriced and choices are limited. My particular experience was with aquarium department, the staff there is nice and friendly, but lacks of knowledge. If it was only once I would understand it, but for me was couple times and with different personal. Also they have a policy that you could return a fish within 2 weeks but didn't accept mine on the second day after purchase.

Great staff! I don't know why, but I'm always so surprised at how much they love seeing other people's pets (I get it, it's a pet store, and you have to love animals to want to work there)

If I could give less than one star I would. Grooming dept has absolutely the poorest customer service that could possibly exist. Lyla specifically would benefit from re-educating herself on the customer/store relationship. The folks in grooming have this sense of entitlement and act as if they are doing you the favor in allowing them to groom your dog. They forget who the customer is and who pays and supports their employment. They have zero skills in customer service and conflict resolution. I assume this is why chose to work with dogs rather than having to deal and effectively communicate with other humans. On another matter, I purchased a skinny and sickly Chameleon from PetSmart, purchased hundreds of dollars in cage and other equipment and supplies only to have the Chameleon die one or two days after the warranty expired. This also occurred over the Christmas closing so it would have been days before the store re-opened. Rather than keep a dead Chameleon in a freezer for days, I decided to bury it and not even try for a refund not wanting to deal with the store's poor customer service. With so many other options out there for pet supplies, and especially grooming, I am shocked I've tolerated PetSmart for this many years. Do yourself a favor and find a local independent groomer who appreciates your business, gets to know your dog, and treats you and your pet properly rather than having to deal with these unappreciative and poorly trained groomers.

You have to make appointments now for grooming services that in the past were walk-in. The grooming salon is normally crowded, however everyone seems nice and they try to accommodate you if possible.

I am sorry that the two previous reviewers had bad experiences at this PetSmart superstore. Our experiences have been exactly the opposite. We began with training there when our dogs were just puppies. It was a wonderful experience with one of the best trainers we have ever know. We have left our dogs there numerous times for day camp. Once again, the staff could not have been more helpful, knowledgeable, and courteous. We have boarded both dogs for a couple of extended periods and had the same treatment. In fact, when the staff detected a urinary problem in our female dog, they called us and arranged a visit with their pet hospital on site. When we returned we went back to our regular vet who said catching this early saved our pet a lot of discomfort. We cannot say enough good about this pet store!

Every time I've visited this one in the past year, it's been clean, always had stock, the animals in the grooming area seemed happy and they were taken care of.

Robyn makes training easy for me and my my dog. Pumpkin really loves her training with Robyn. We also love the groomers too, Pumpkin’s cost always comes looking good. It is very nice they are both in the same place along with the other things I need for my dog.

Made a grooming appointment for 4:00 PM Saturday on Thursday When I arrived they asked if I could get in contact with the vet to confirm Daisy had her Rabies shot, I asked why are we waiting until 4pm on Saturday to figure this out Was met with attitude by the groomer when I told her the vet was closed They then brought over a manager who told me there. Was nothing he could do I asked is that common practice to wait until the customer arrived to show proof of shots on a Saturday No answer Never did anything as I walked out the store Very incompetent

AVOID HOTEL! I left two of my dogs under the care of this location's hotel service for one night and regret it heavily. Both of my dogs were brought home fatigued, with extreme diarrhea and vomiting for 3+ consecutive days after their stay. It was absolute nightmare to deal with as they were ill, afraid and in need of constant medical care and supervision. We wound up with almost $400 worth of bills to emergency room, vet fees and cleanup supplies. I am certain something foreign was given to my dogs, as they both had the same symptoms and were otherwise perfectly healthy and up-to-date on vaccinations. We left our dogs with strict rules - no playing with other dogs, no food and treats other that what we brought in. This was clearly ignored, as our Emergency Room vet confirmed our dogs were likely fed something foreign, causing their symptoms. On top of this, the day-of their stay at the hotel - we were expecting and looking forward to the mentioned photo and email updates. After receiving no news for hours, we gave the hotel a call and were placed on hold for a long period of time - only to get connected with a young man who told us there was no time to take photos or note updates - as he was the one and only person running the ENTIRE hotel... imagine our reaction?? Hard to believe any one pet received any of the care or attention we paid extra for. Overall I am completely disappointed and frankly scarred by my experience with the PetsHotel service. My dogs got sick and nearly died from dehydration, I spent money on services that weren't as promised, I'm $400 deep into unexpected medical bills, and will now live with the PTSD of ever leaving my dogs under the care of anyone at all.

This location is clean, organized, and has a good selection of items including the pet hospital and pet hotel. Everyone I ran into was helpful and pleasant. Would be 5 stars if their prices weren't so high

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. You can tell everyone that works there are true pet lovers and will go above and beyond to help you with your pet from getting started to ongoing maintenance. My husband purchased our first fish tank 2 weeks ago. As we do not know how to judge a fish's behavior as "normal" or "not normal" I took a sample of our tanks water there a few days ago to make sure the tank that we set up was good to go - I was greeted once again by 2 friendly and warm associates Robert and Max. Not only did they test my tank water right in front of me for free, they took the time to show me who/what/where/why when it comes to fish care & tank water testing so I am properly educated and can maintain my fish tank, but they also answered all my questions. More importantly, they didnt rush - they took their time which meant so much to me (being a first time fish owner is stressful lol!) AND both told me not to hesitate to call / come back in should I have any additional questions. PETSMART - GIVE ROBERT AND MAX A RAISE!!! THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!

I like the store nice and clean but please don't do a curbside pick up . Ph # in file is the worse don't answer and if they do it takes for ever to come out .. 25 mins waiting.. not the best

I was a little disappointed after making an online apointment to get my dogs nails trimmed. We have taken several pets to this location and told them we have a new dog coming in for naik trimming. Once we arrive the lady asked for her vaccination records which I have at home, but was not told I needed to bring them. I responded that it would have been nice if the lady would have told us over the phone to make sure to have them prior to the appointment. When I mentioned this they then proceeded to say they didn't think they could clip her nails since my French Bulldog was in a doggie wheel chair. She has rear end paralysis and told then she can be taken out of the wheel chair, but they were sure it was against policy to do any sort of grooming on a handicapped dog. Needless to say I bought some trimmers and went home and did it myself without issue. If you have a healthy dog and have your vaccine records in hand then I may reccomend trying them out, but I won't take any of my other dogs back there. I feel like my dog was discriminated against.
