Awesome vet and good prices. They were close to home so we gave them a chance and I am glad we did. Good team and location!

Companion is an excellent veterinary practice and from our first visit with our puppy, we felt right at home. From the front desk, to the vet techs, to the doctors, everyone is super friendly & kind, professional and responsive. They are so patient and good with our dog. The office was recently remodeled and every room is so welcoming and clean. I’d recommend this practice to anyone looking for a first rate vet practice that is caring, professional, and clean. They are very knowledgeable and responsive with questions and take their time. Absolutely the best vet around!

I have been to this location once and the visit itself was fine. Where my issue lies is with reliability and being able to count on them to get my animal seen. I recently moved into the area and was using companion at a different location in Norridge so I thought it would be easiest to stay with companion and switch to this location. I was instructed it would be almost a two month wait to get in for an initial appointment which was fine because I assumed since it wasn’t an urgent appointment that they are making it farther out in case urgent issues arise. Today, I was worried my dog has an infection and I was told I would have to wait 2+ weeks for an appointment despite the fact that this is more of an emergent issue opposed to a routine appointment. If they can’t accommodate their sick patients then I don’t think they should continue to accept new patients if they are so busy all the time.

When it comes to health and well-being for your pets it's hard to find a vet that you can trust. They are very kind and willing to help and accommodate you as much as they can. Any time I have questions they are pleasant to talk to and get any confusion cleared away. I also enjoy there office set up it's very comfortable and welcoming. I brought my dog in today and they had a sign in her waiting room welcoming her back. The place is very clean and everyone from the front desk to vet assistance and vet are very nice. They talk with you to ensure you understand and are happy with the visit. Thank you all that you do.

Mia, my 8 yr old sheltie, went in for her 3 yr rabies. The vet looked at her teeth & was surprised that since her last cleaning 1 1/2 yrs ago that her back molars were so bad. I was extremely impressed that he showed me the areas of concern. Never in 72 yrs has a vet done so. He recommended Veggie Dent for future use & a teeth cleaning is scheduled soon. Being quarantined & not seeing a vet in person with our dogs cause problems.

This was my first visit to the Mt. Prospect location of Companion Animal Hospital and the staff and care provided was absolutely fantastic! They took great care of my very old, medically complicated dog, Akina. The vet tech, Phoenix, was particularly amazing. His warm personality really shined through. He was gentle and patient with my girl. Highly recommended!

The doctors and staff at Companion Mount Prospect are exceptional. I am always impressed with how prepared they are for our appointments. They take the time to review my dog's records beforehand and connect with specialists as needed. They know my dog's personality, which behaviors are typical for him and which may indicate a potential health issue. They are wonderful about providing options for treatment and explaining their approach. I could not be happier with the care my dog receives from Companion.

I can't say enough good things about Companion. My girl Mia has had some health issues (nothing serious) over the last year or so and she's seen Dr Nokes and Walsh, both have been extremely helpful. All of the nurses seem to love when Mia comes in too, always so friendly, knowledgeable and understanding when you have to schedule a last minute visit. As long as I live in the burbs I will not be choosing any other vet. Love companion!

Dr Walsh is a pleasure to work with. She gave my dog a thorough exam, explained her findings and made recommendations as if it were own. I appreciated her honesty and the time she took with us. We will definitely be going back.

The entire staff was so kind & personable. They took such good care of my cat during our appointment. Even though I could tell they were very busy, the dr took their time & went over everything with me. I truly appreciate everyone.

Companion has a truly wonderful staff, from the receptionists, to the techs and all the veterinarians. Dr. Walsh is obviously passionate about what she does and it shows in her care. The prices are reasonable and they have always been able to get us in. I appreciate this amazing vet and highly recommend it!

For the two years of Rio’s life the team of doctors of this location has been amazing to us an my baby, at some point we thought about changing locations because its a little far from us but we keep coming back Rio is my only baby and he deserves the best , and the best is this team of caring people ! Our 3 pets have been clients here for almost 7 years and we have had nothing but positive and professional experiences. The staff is so kind and friendly and they go out of their way to make you and your pet feel welcome and comfortable.

I’ve been to the Companion Animal Hospital Mount Prospect three times now and have been blown away by their service every time. The environment is very clean and well-decorated. The staff is so lovely, patient, and helpful. I’ve had some bad experiences at other animal hospitals but I can genuinely say that CAH is amazing. Harold will be coming back at least yearly!

I'm in the middle of determining what is wrong with our dog and the doctor and staff has been thorough and thoughtful about testing and making sure I am sure of the path they are taking. So patient with our dog, a 77lb baby!

Dr. Walsh is dedicated, professional and genuinely cares about all her patients. She performed two dentals on my dog and each time she took her time to thoroughly explain the procedure and to answer all of my questions. She even called me on her way home from work to check in on my dog to make sure she was doing ok. I always feel good knowing my pets are in good hands with Dr. Walsh!

They are wonderful! I am new to the area and I was a little stressed out in finding a vet clinic for my 14 year old dog. After doing some homework, I am so happy to have found this place. Everyone was super friendly and it simply exceeded my expectations. I knew my dog was in great hands as soon as I met the vet technician who came out to greet us (they are currently doing curbside only). They even called me the next day to see how my dog was feeling and to check if I had any further questions. Highly recommended!

Due to COVID-19 I did not see the all staff , but the one I saw were nice and all smiling , the receptionist also was very nice she could understand everything I was saying with my strong french accent ... I was really pleased. It was my first time at Mont Prospect Companion Animal Hospital . They took good care of my Shih Tzu Who went for a visit and grooming . Thank you so much .

I have to say, Companion Animal Hospital is absolutely amazing! It is so hard to find a vet clinic that is quick to respond, fairly priced and friendly but this office exceeded my expectations. My 14 year old dog fell in my yard over the weekend and hurt her back. I called the office to make an appointment and they saw her that same day, did a thorough examination and prescribed her medication that is already helping her feel better. Oh, AND they called me the next day to see how she's feeling! They are currently doing curbside only because the inside of their office is completely under construction but I knew my dog was in great hands as soon as I met the vet technician who came out to greet us. Literally, look no further because this place is the best place to take your pet!

These folks are the best. Needed to take cat in and he was seen in 1 hour. Doc called and explained everything- we went and picked him up - he was calm— very friendly, compassionate, professional people. Great job. thank- you-Peter

Our pets have received the best care. Have been a client for over 10 years. The vets are knowledgeable and caring. The office staff is always friendly and helpful.

If you’re looking for a reliable place to bring a pet for great care, go somewhere else! My cat has a sore on her face that they saw once, wouldn’t even really look because they were unable to see in her mouth... so they recommended spending additional money to knock her out so they can look, but that didn’t stop them from sending a “treatment” plan, without looking at anything, they gave her a shot and sent her away. They said they would call us back the next day to find out how she was doing... SIX days later still waiting for a “follow up” call. I have called three times since and requested a simple quote and why won’t they even look at her! Other than a constant lip service of apologies and chasing them, I’m done and recommend that if you are looking for a vet stay away from here. Update: we are now at an emergency room because it burst... that could have been avoided had they helped!!! Response to your comment: There were no attempts by you to schedule an appointment, I asked for a quote on no tooth extraction treatment plan and you never provided that.
