Great experience for us and our dog! Very friendly staff (& lobby cats)! Dr. Winston was more than willing to perform surgery on our dog with almost no notice since we're visiting from out of state for the Holidays. Then, the after care with daily bandage changes was second to none!

We recently had a very pleasant experience in our first visit to this vet with our adult cat. She normally has a bad time at the vet, but the personnel handled her very gently and was able to give her a complete exam without any bad reaction from our cat. We will definitely return and will recommend this vet to others. The facility is newly remodeled, clean and very welcoming.

Morton animal hospital was able to get us in for an emergency appointment, updated all of our vaccinations, and did it at a very affordable price. The same visit in Chicagoland would’ve easily been over $300. Two thumbs up for Morton Animal Hospital, Dr. Winston, and the whole staff. I highly recommend.

Love this Animal Hospital! Very hometown very friendly but very up to date with animal medicine. My dog is very nervous and he was very comfortable there. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Location is not not out front but not complicated either.

We brought our chiuachua westley into dr herm and I really thought we would lose westley..he kept him over night till our poor boy quit vomiting...he couldn't walk he was so weak..we we took a dropper and game him water ever hour...gave him his meds and alittle food through dropper and within 2 days he started walking and drinking on his own..we would of lost him if it wasnt for dr. Herm....thank you so much....hes doing good after 3 days of being home.

In 2014, I took my kitten there to be neutered and front claws removed. When I arrived at the office to pick my kitten up, the front desk person immediately shoved a bag of special cat cereal in front of me and stated the cat is diabetic and will need to be on this food the rest of his life. The front desk person was very uncaring. I asked why and the Dr. And front desk people stated his blood sugar was elevated very highly. They also said he may need insulin later. I took him home and was really feeling sad about all this. I made another appointment at my old vet that next week that I had for many years and she took a blood test to again get his blood sugar readings. She called back and stated his blood sugar was fine. She stated just like humans, cats blood sugar can rise to very elevated levels if the cat was very stressed out. She ordered another test a month or two later, and again the blood sugar is fine. And he has been fine since. A very bad experience for me that I will never forget.
