Paws Grooming Morton Grove, Illinois

We heard about paws grooming from a family friend who took their dog there for years. I've taken My dog Lucky to so many grooming places but Paws will definitely be our permanent go to! The staff is super friendly and when I showed them a picture of how I wanted him cut the first time i took him there, he came out looking exactly like the picture. The fact that they're a 5 minute drive from my house is a bonus! :) thank you guys for taking good care of my little fur baby.

They do a great job. The dog is not afraid and looks awesome. Julie and Josh are kind and friendly.

I am very upset with the carelessness and lack of professionalism from Cheri during my experience with Paws Grooming today. To not notice the obvious, very visible blood on the front paw during a nail trim is really telling of the type of care that my dog received. During the nail trimming appointment, I walked over to peek at my dog and saw what looked like blood on his paw. After I paid, I took him right outside to give him a quick look and he did have a lot of blood on his front paw (super visible on my dog’s light colored fur).  I immediately brought him back in, alarmed at the amount of blood on his foot. Cheri took him back, saying it happens all the time and isn’t a big deal, and that she must have cut his dew claw too short. After she cleaned the wound,I requested for her to check the other feet, at which point she said she didn’t realize he had rear dewclaws. I had even specifically asked her if she had cut his dewclaws before we left the first time, which she confirmed. His appointment was for his nails trimmed, and for her to miss this and so haphazardly rush him out, in addition to the unnoticed bleeding paw shows me how careless she was. She quickly clipped his rear dew claws without filing, which once at home I noticed weren’t even done properly (pic attached). While I understand people may make mistakes, the way she handled it from the moment I brought him back in was very rude and dismissive. She kept saying it happens all the time and that it’s not a big deal. While I was sitting there checking my dog’s feet and telling her I was concerned because this hadn’t happened before, she quickly brushed it off and abruptly moved to address the only other customer there. It was clear she was over it, and so I just left. While this may be common to her, personally, It’s never happened before when I’ve taken him to other groomers or done it myself, and the amount of blood was alarming. The way she addressed this issue was just so dismissive. I’m really unhappy with how Cheri treated my dog so carelessly and brushed it off. She was unprofessional in terms of the quality of work as well as her demeanor. I really don’t normally EVER write reviews but this experience was just so negative.

I was very happy with how my dog turned out by Julie. Definitely will be back.

I don't see why I need to go back to place. I paid $50 for my puppy grooming but I don't think it's worth to pay. Uneven cut, not clean up paws, its behind, and eye area. Just not worthy it. It is what it is and I will try other goomer.

Exceptional service !! All the groomers are wonderful! The owner is amazing! The groomers are very good with my Morkie, gentle and professional! I wouldn’t go anywhere else !!

We moved to the neighborhood back in March and took our two dogs here straight away. The woman on the phone was so nice and very informative. We did a full groom for both of our dogs and one of them got a haircut. So far, that's the best haircut i've seen on this guy! Great place, super friendly, great pricing!

They are great with my dog

I have had pets for as long as I can remember. I have been to Paws twice, and it's the first time I have ever felt completely at ease leaving my dog at the groomer and KNOWING he'd be safe and treated well. In fact, I drive about 30 minutes each way to go to Paws, and it's well worth it! Kim is the BEST. I swear, she's like the "Dog Whisperer" or something! ???? She books up quickly, so if she has an opening, grab it! Thank you Paws and Kim for being AWESOME!!!

They do an excellent job and they're very warm and friendly.

Dog Grooming service, I take my Golden Doodle there for his regular grooming. They are good at grooming him. Couple of issues I have is they keep changing prices based on how dirty the dog is. We do get monthly grooming, but depending upon the dog park visits he has had in that month he might be a little more work and that's their job so it's annoying that the price vary for same service.. Also their timings are not the most convenient for working people. They close at 5 pm, I get home from work most days on 3:30 and they don't take any appointments after 3..

********BEWARE******** If your pet has no fur and needs a bath- great groomer. For anything else Cheri is THE WORST possible cat groomer ever!!!!!!!!! Absolutely incompetent. Unprofessional. No skills- none! She charged $80 for a Persian shavedown and returned my cat looking like never before!!!!!!! Knots still in place and the booties all different shapes!!!!! I had to finish the job she wasn't able to....AND I'M NOT EVEN A PROFESSIONAL!!!!!!!!!! SCAM. WASTE OF MONEY. WASTE OF TIME. TORTURE FOR THE ANIMALS. DO NOT EVER USE OR RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!

We have always had issues with getting our Goldendoodle groomed. He did have matts so we were concerned about shaving. But we were so happy with the results. He looks great and she totally listened to our concerns. Thank you so much!!! We will be back!!
