They did a good job cutting my yorkies hair, but what I loved was that she was done within 2 hours. Didn't have to wait almost all day to pick her up like most places.

I dropped off my belgium travuren to these guys. I'll say that he's 11 and he looked every day of it. That plus sticky hands of 4 kids really matted my boy up. I told them I need the best they had and they delivered. Put dog in took about 2 and a half hour. Pricing blew me away I was ready to pay around 300$ for the condition he was in made it out under 100$. Will recommend this to all friends with any animals.

They were grooming my friends dog and they clipped the dog’s skin really good and gave the dog a really nasty wound. Made absolutely NO MENTION of it to the owner. Unacceptable! The owner of the pup needed to take the pup to the vet because of the severity of the wound.

They are SO FRIENDLY! Very nice to the dogs and a good price.

My Samson loves going to get groomed here and I feel good leaving him. Other places cage, here they don't which eases not only his stress but mine. Wonderfully caring staff, reasonably priced, and they truly love the dog clientele which is why we're repeat customers! Thanks ladies. Your love, hard work and dedication to the furkids and their neurotic pet parents is truly appreciated!!

They all we great. Bella are baby had a great spa day. They cut her hair just like we wanted it to look. Her nails were good length and ground very smooth. But the hair bows in her ears was the best thing ever. She was so pamper we are happy customers ????

Have taken my chocolate lab puppy in twice to get groomed. First time he was nervous but the girls treated him very well. Also they sent me post cards and coupons with great deals in the mail.

Usually go to the Hobart location. Today I went to valpo and they CUT my dog and didn’t even take any money for them messing up my dog!!

My black lab came home with a shiny coat and smelled so nice. Making an appointment was easy and drop off and pick up was great!! I highly recommend.

This was the first time we actually took our dog somewhere for grooming, and let me tel you were super pleased and will definitely be back in the future! 10/10

Went to Hungry Hound yesterday for the first, great place, lots of different treats for dogs and cats alike, we took our little Avery there and she loved it so much, greeting all the people was so much fun for her, she loved the store and everyone in it. The Hamernick family will be regulars in the Valpo location, the staff is great and has an awesome personality

Annie is our groomer, she is very patient and kind to our younger longhaired Doxie that is new to grooming.

This was my puppies first trip to a groomer.I must admit I was a little nervous. However, when the young lady called to confirm my appointment I had lots of questions. She answered them all and put my mind at ease. When I picked him up he looked great. While I was there I scheduled his next appointment! Thanks Hungry Hound!

I went here looking for a cake for my fur baby's first birthday. As soon as we walked in we were amazed. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. My baby enjoyed his cupcake and his birthday was a success thanks to them. Also, they gave us an amazing first time visitors bag!

This is by far the best grooming place I have ever been to. I have a poodle mix and he always turns out great— I can’t imagine how hard it must be to groom a poodle! The employees and groomers are always so nice and knowledgeable. Appointment confirmation calls are always done a few days before the appointment, which is a nice reminder. Again, the groomers are great and really know what to look for. I haven’t had the best experiences with grooming places for my dog; however, this place is very consistent. I do not think I could ever bring my dog to another grooming place since going here!

Took my 4 year old labradoodle here for the first time. I’ve used several other groomers and Hungry Hounds did the best grooming job on her thus far. I will definitely be returning. She was nice a fluffy and brushed out perfectly.
