Horrible breeder. She is running a puppy mill and keeps getting away with lies and has been responsible for multiple sudden deaths of Samoyeds, including my own that my family got from Kabeara. Dogs are crammed in tiny cages and many end up sick or dead because of her breeding practices. DO YOUR RESEARCH. She should be in jail and shut down!!

My pup just turned 8 months and has grown so much over the past year. Brought him home after 8 weeks. He is healthy and has good temperament. The waitlist was long but it’s worth the time. The communication with Teresa is usually faster through phone instead of email. It’s my first time getting a dog and the experience so far has been good:)

We are looking to breed Samoyeds in the future in an ethical way. This woman has tarnished these beautiful dogs and would be best to retire and give the dogs the quality home and treatment they deserve. We are going out of our way to NOT buy from her bloodline as many health conditions have occurred from previous owners.

Our Samoyed is beautiful, healthy, adorable, smart, well tempered and get compliments every single day. He is gorgeous and perfect. Thank you for breeding such a perfect dog for our family.

My partner and I LOVED our experience at Kabeara Samoyeds with Teresa. She responded to us timely and she was very professional with the whole process. She is extremely knowledgable with this breed and has ample experience. She answered all of our questions, showed us exactly where the microchip was, suggested foods, gave us a crash course packet on training our puppy, and ultimately gave us the most beautiful Samoyed pup! We adore our sweet and spunky boy - we got him at 10 weeks and now he is turning 5 months. He is absolutely perfect and healthy, up to date on all of his vaccinations. Highly recommend Kabeara Samoyeds to anybody that is looking for a knowledgable, kind breeder that produces the most beautiful pups!

Avoid at all costs, buying from them is participating in everything that makes this world wrong, you don’t breed beautiful samoyeds by stuffing them in tiny travel cases all their lives, or by having Father also be grandfathers to pups! It’s inhumain. Do your research before you make a choice but know that if you do buy from them you’re an accomplice to the way they treat animals.

We adopted our Sammy from Teresa in 2008. We had him for 12.5 years. Best dog ever. We miss him so much. Waiting for a new one. Hoping Teresa calls us soon

My husband and I picked up our Kabeara Samoyed, Nova a few weeks ago. We had nothing but a great experience with Teresa, she was responsive and extremely helpful, and sent us home with all sorts of information on the breed and caring for a new puppy. Nova has been an absolute joy, she is very healthy (our vet loves her) and she has an awesome little personality. We loved our experience with Kabeara and would recommended Teresa to anyone looking for a Samoyed.

EDIT: 10 months with our puppy and he is still healthy. However, we are learning more about this facility we are finding that having a healthy pup from Teresa is rare. We also found out that our puppy’s mother was bred with her own father. Our dog’s father is also his grandfather. This breeder is on a list of the worst 100 puppy mills in the country. If the your puppy dies, she requests that you bring the deceased puppy back to her in order to get a refund. We are first time Samoyed owners and didn’t know the red flags when we saw them. We will NOT be buying from Kabeara again. Original Review: Teresa was very kind and knowledgeable about Samoyeds and gave us great advice. We exchanged multiple emails and spoke on the phone a few times before we picked up our pup and she was always quick to respond. The kennels were clean and taken care of, as well as the dogs. We also got to meet our puppy’s mom! Along with our puppy we received his family history/family tree so we can register him with the AKC, info on vaccines, microchip info, information and tips on the breed, vitamin samples; everything we needed! Teresa was great to work with and we are so thankful for our little pup!

My husband and I recently bought a puppy from Teresa, and we honestly couldn’t be happier. Teresa was very responsive during the period between putting down a deposit and scheduling the pick up of our baby. She genuinely seems to care about her dogs and her business. She is extremely knowledgeable, and she was very forthcoming with advice and information. If you’re hesitant based off of reviews alone, I would suggest that you take some time to talk to Teresa and make a decision for yourself. I can’t speak for everyone, I can’t only attest to my own experience, but I have no complaints. Malakai is a loving, SMART, beautiful (and he knows it), ornery ball of perfection.

THIS IS A PUPPY MILL!! DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE. They treat the dogs horribly and many of their puppies DIE after you buy them. Dogs are found in horrible condition. This woman is a monster and asks for the puppy's body back if you want a refund. STOP THIS HORRIBLE PLACE!

Friend bought a puppy with health issues. Teresa lies to her and said that she couldn’t guarantee health of animals knowing that most DVM’s offer health tests suited to most breeds. I would not support any breeder who doesn’t health test their breeding pairs. Without health testing you do not know if the animal will have issue, can’t foresee temperament, and can’t guarantee anything. Sell off your pairs and retire.

There is ABSOLUTELY nothing out of order with Kabeara kennels and it is NOT a “ puppy mill”. We purchased our Sadie from Kabeara 14 years ago. We lost her this August due to bloat. She was 14 years and 1 month old. Sadie was a perfect companion with a outstanding temperament and she was happy and had no significant health issues all of her life right up until we lost her. We were so pleased with Sadie we recently returned to Kabeara and found another Sammy to be our companion. Kabeara kennels is in fact an upstanding kennel and follows the ethic to take back any Sammy purchased from them due to any hardship by the owner...at ANY age!!. Bottom line, Kabeara Kennels does the right thing ! There is an individual posting slanderous statements on FB about Kabeara Kennels. Ignore these statements as they are not true.

Teresa was very knowledgable of her samoyeds. She answered all my questions and concerns before I decided to move forward with purchasing a puppy. She always answered my emails very quickly. My new 8 week old zelda is loving life at her new home! I would recommend her to anyone looking to purchase a samoyed.

My wire and I added a female samoyed puppy to our family on 11/15 and we cannot be more happy. Teresa from kabeara samoyeds made our journey a breeze and we are now having a time of our life living with our new puppy. She is getting along very well with our 4 year old lab and she is very healthy and active and extremely cute. Our experience with Teresa was very transparent, detailed and easy. She was very patient in answering our numerous questions and we had a great time visiting her kennel 3 times. The experience we had clearly signified that she has been doing this for a long time and doing it very well. We would highly recommend Teresa and Kabeara Samoyeds if you are looking to add a Samoyed to your family.

Our family just got our fourth Samoyed puppy from Kabeara Kennels and we couldn’t be happier. We first found Teresa and Kabeara back in the 90s. We have had Zoya, Ramius, Sacha, and now we have puppy ZeeJay. ZeeJay is an incredibly sweet and loving puppy and we know we’ll be super happy with her. Teresa is a very high quality breeder who does a tremendous job with her Samoyeds. They are very well bred and cared for. We live in Chicago, but have been spending quarantine in Los Angeles so for the first time ever, we actually had ZeeJay flown to us. Which we were a bit skeptical about, but actually it could not have been easier. Teresa talked us through the entire process and it was seamless. ZeeJay is adjusting very well in her new home with her new parents and her big brother Sacha. We highly recommend Kabeara Kennels!

The whole process of getting my Samoyed from Kabeara was fantastic. Teresa was great! Professional, kind, thorough, knowledgeable and fun. We met our pup two weeks before the allowed pick up time for a new puppy. The pups were fun and healthy and happy. On pick up day, Teresa provides all medical records, Full breeding lineage, registration for the chip puppy already has, and guarantee information. I would recommend Kabeara for anyone that wants a Samoyed.

Teresa is amazing! I love her dedication and love for her Samoyeds! We got a baby boy for Christmas for our family and we are absolutely in love with him!! He's healthy and has his vaccinations up to date and gets along with our children! The puppies are all well socialized and micro chipped. Teresa is wonderful and answered all of our questions and more since we are first time dog owners, could not have asked for a better breeder! Love love love and would recommend for anyone looking for a Samoyed puppy!

My daughter and I visited Kabeara kennels in search of a puppy after researching breeds and breeders. Theresa let us play and interact with the puppies for as long as we wanted and was not pushy nor did she try to hurry us up. We knew what type of puppy we were looking for as far as temperament and personality so we took quite a long time playing with the pups. I could not be happier with our Yuki. He is a large, beautiful, and healthy 5 year old dog now. He has never has any health issues and is one of the best dogs I have ever owned. I have read some of the negative reviews and I would just urge people to do what we did and take time to pick the right pup for you based on personality and not just what one you think looks the cutest. Also continuous health care,vet check ups from day one you bring your pup home, and a healthy diet will help ensure your pup has the best chance at a healthy and problem free life.

I bought a REGISTERED SAMOYED from this kennel from Teresa Haever 2 YEARS AGO!! I NEVER GOT HIS PAPERS, although she repeatedly promised them to me!! I talked to the police & the AKC. I tried to talk to 3 different lawyers...no one called me back! I tried to get someone from the TV channels to help me. NO ONE HELPED ME AT ALL!!! So DO NOT GET LIED TO , STOLEN FROM & DEFRAUDED BY THIS CHEAT!!!

We'd been wanting a Samoyed for a while and finally decided to get one. I can't say enough good things about this breeder. She was responsive and informative and answered all our questions. We were coming from out of state on short notice and Teresa was very accommodating. We got the most perfect and loving puppy out of this deal! As for the negative reviews from last year- Teresa's husband (and business partner) passed away and shortly after she was brutally attacked. She's lucky to be alive! Thus, their business suffered on the customer service side of things. I hope people give her a chance despite of the negative reviews because she truly cares about these dogs and she raises them well. A puppy bred in a puppy mill would show all kinds of negative signs and our puppy is loving and happy as could be, we're absolutely in love. Thanks Teresa!
