Sarah’s the best dog groomer in Chicagoland!

I wanted to give a poor review because I used her service six weeks ago and everything was great at pick up time. I made an appointment for today and she call me this morning to let me know my dog is aggressive. It is strange that she did not say anything at pick up The last time.

Came here to use their self-serve dog wash and the doggy blow dryers. The owner was so nice and even taught me a couple of things while I was there :) Id also like to add that the dogs that had finished being groomed looked GREAT, and they were all snuggling with a clean blanket waiting to be picked up! Thank you Sarah!!!

Sarah was able to squeeze my dog in her schedule after she ran through a burr bush and had hundreds stuck in her fur. She took such good care of her and got all the burrs out no problem. The environment was very friendly, good prices and all the doggies in the place seemed very happy! I recommend this place!

Sarah and staff are always great. I have two dogs who are older and she always is loving and caring.

She does great work but I’m concerned with her professionalism. The first time I spoke w her, I was given a certain price range but when I brought the dog in, she charged about $30 more. I asked her why and she denied ever telling me the first price. She was also very rude about it and completely unprofessional. I’m sure I can find somewhere else that does better work and I won’t have to deal w her.

I found Shara though Angie's List after I adopted my first Golden Retriever and am so happy I did. They really know how to groom a Golden so they look pretty and stay looking good. I have received so many compliments and people asking where they were groomed. They treat my two goldens so well. Shara grooms breeds and the results I have seen are always amazing. If you just got a dog and are looking for a groomer or if you are not satisfied with your current groomer this is the place for you.

First time bringing my dog there we took a little time to figure out the cut we were used to and they nailed it. Over a week later, and my dog still smells like she just got back from the groomer. Their prices were a little higher than I was paying at PetSmart, and they are worth every penny.

Sarah took us as an immediate walk-in for a nail trim and gland express. She was extremely kind and professional, especially with a large dog that has often made people pause. Sarah addressed a potential issue with our dogs glands and suggested we visit a vet. Because of her advice, we were able to get help for a problem that could have easily gotten worse. Thank you Sarah for helping us and our fur child!

This review is for nail clips service which was done in 5 minutes as a walk in.Establishment is next door to an amazing animal clinic.

My golden doodle mini had his first shampoo and haircut combo by Sarah yesterday. I need to say it was the best my dog has ever looked. My wife and I both agreed his haircut was spectacular- from his head, ears tail, and paws, she did a meticulously perfect cut. Wow! Can’t say enough about how pleased we are. And she took us in on short notice. 5 STAR. :-)

Horrible experience, the manager is very rude and my pets accidentally did the bathroom and the manager got quite angry, she charged me 40 dollars more than normal, she told me many bad things about my pets and when I picked them up she told me to take them away so they wouldn't make a mess in their place, and also hurted my dog, I do not recommend it at all.

Love the service here. Been taking our dog since he was a puppy. Always very happy with his grooming here

We love Sarah and her team. They do a wonderful job of grooming our Shi Tzu, but more than that it is just a great place and environment. There are always happy dogs running about, and the joy and love of puppers is just so obvious here

Updated post*** I rescued a little guy who was in major need of a cut and unmatting of some fur. Sara once again did an amazing job and made my new little guy feel so welcomed. Original post**** I brought my sweet Lily to groomingdales for almost 17 years. Lily always got great haircuts and was spoiled by Sarah and her staff. She was a special pup and I am a protective puppy parent. They always took great care of sweet Lily. I will defiantly be taking future fur babies to Groomingdales by Sarah.

I call Groomingdales by Sarah and asked how much they are charging for a full grooming services to a smaller breed like Westies or Bichon. They told me that their initial price starting from $68.00 and plus... I think they are charging too much (overcharge) compare to any grooming places in the area..????????????

I was very happy with Groomingdales. They are thorough, friendly and reasonably priced.

Great experience each time. Sarah, the owner, along with her staff is excellent at what they do each day. If you have a dog looking to get groomed, take it to these professionals!

Horrible place to go to. They have no idea what they are doing and are clueless on how to handle dogs.

Rude employees. My dog was mistreated physically in front of my eyes and manager in a rough tone and mannerism claimed it was my fault for not havig trained my animal properly. Ill never come her again.
