Bark N Park Lake Bluff, Illinois

We contacted Bark n Park to arrange to have our dog boarded. We spent 20 minutes on the phone and scheduled a "interview" appointment before we they would board him. Then we spent another 20 minutes filling out the forms that are required. We just received a call back that because our male dog has not been spayed they won't take him. Maybe this should be the first question you ask - saving everyone a ton of time. Especially when you change your policy for the same dog!

Called as a new daycare customer for my 8 month old Great Dane. During our conversation I was TOLD that they could not have her passed 9 months if she was not spayed. The RISK of her going into heat was too much. I was then TOLD that I was not likely to find a facility that was any different with their requirements. Fortunately I WAS able to find a facility that was not paralyzed by the thought of having to crate her on the off chance she went into heat while in their care. You are entitled to have your policies. You just might want to work on your TELLING of them. But hey, I’m just one customer.

Worst place ever, if I could rate negative stars I would.. they throw things at they’re dogs, such as garbage can lids and metal buckets... very unprofessional and super rude staff

Very nice people and my dog comes home tired! We take her to small dog play group every other week. Affordable and it's great for her to exercise and socialize! Also, they check vaccination records with your vet which was very important to me in looking at a daycare. Their behavior requirements are a little looser than other places, which is perfect for us. I have a stubborn girl who is social but a little shy. Other places had more strict requirements but if your dog is friendly towards other dogs, you're in here. There's no way my girl would have passed at some places I looked at so I'm very glad for their assessment!

Best place to take your dog to dog school.

Our puppy was pooped when he got home and I was able to set something up extremely last minute and they were so accomadating and hospitable about it

Our dogs have used the Bark N Park for daycare and boarding for the last 7 years and we couldn't be happier. They treat our pups with the same TLC that we do.

Bark in the Park is a terrible place and I would NEVER take my dogs to them. My sister recently moved to the area and took her dog to them for day care. After only being there 10minutes they told her her dog was terrible and should be taken away from her! Her dog has had extensive training including agility training and is way more behaved then most. Her dog is trained off leash exclusively and is an alpha dog as well, but this seemed FAR too great a challenge for this group of inexperienced staff. Needless to say, after this incident my sister left in tears. Neither she or I would take our dogs there again, and I will tell EVERYONE who will listen about how horrible of people they are.

We've been using Bark n Park for daycare and boarding for our difficult to handle lab/pit mix and cannot be happier with the results. He loves to go there. He is a happy and very tired dog by the time he gets to go home. The staff is very helpful and courteous. I cannot thank these guys enough for the way they took Lobo in and made him part of their pack.

This doggy daycare is one of the only doggy daycare other then Yuppy Puppy that I've found that has an indoor play area (which is odd since the summers get Hot & the Winters get SO COLD here) as well as being able to drop off my baby whatever time I need. Also if your little fur baby needs to spend the night they don't leave them for an unecessay amount of Hrs the way the other ones do before getting them up the next morning. AND have a sprinkler system in case of fire! They also give Miltary Discounts. Our fur babe is super happy every time he plays there.

Lynn and her team do an amazing job spoiling their clients!! The dogs love it here.
