This is the worst vet establishment that I have ever been to. Worst communication skills, aren't consistent with the information they give, and are awfully rude when you aren't a robot that just takes what they say without questions. I was the one who had discovered that my dog had an ear infection. They told me he was healthy until I asked them to check at the end of the appointment. This place is a scam.

We’ve been taking our puppy here for the last few months. Their staff and doctors are really good and responsive. Our pup recently got neutered, the surgery went off flawlessly and he healed quickly. Would definitely recommend.

I moved over to this place from Golf Rose because of the reasonable pricing they had! I was very disappointed with my visit today. When I came in April 2021 with my new puppy and my other 3yr old dog it was $267. On my visit today Dec 2021, I was not aware of the price increases. They first told me, the prices went up in May 2021. They place me on hold and then they say the reason is, "every year the prices increase", which is understandable, if that was the case. But May 2021 and Dec 2021 is within the year (within 7 months), which makes no sense. So they came and place me on hold again and now they say it was due to "covid" Again, I think it is ridiculous within a few months they raise the prices at least $65 more on vaccinations and exams. My bill today was $208.95 more than it was from April. Very huge price increase! Moreover, they failed to let me know of a puppy package. I wish I could have known this as well.

Love it. Our vet and staff really make you feel like family. I couldn't afford some of the extra vaccines so she gave what was only necessary snd told us about the importance of the others. She said to come back soon when we have the money. About 4 weeks. Great place. They also have daycare/weekly care and grooming

Fantastic care for my husky puppy! Even after she got spayed there, she ran right inside without a care. They treat your pets terrific here!

Great doctors, fast and friendly service

Dr. Courtney is VERY knowledgeable and kind. The vet techs & front desk staff are very kind & friendly as well. This was my 1st time bringing my dog here and I will be making this my primary vet. The staff treated my dog with love and compassion. Staff made everything very smooth, hardly had to wait to be seen!! They made sure to explain all the costs and treatment BEFORE doing anything. I got a new puppy and they have a great puppy package for all the vaccines! My visit was with Dr. Courtney and she was very nice and also helpful! My sister goes here as well so my family has grown to like this location a lot!

I've been bringing my GSD here since she was a puppy. She receives vet care here and we did use the daycare for a while. I liked that they have hourly daycare. We would frequently bring her for just a couple of hours a day for socialization. The only reason we do not use the daycare now is because they require a dog be spayed and we are holding off with my dog until she's older since she's a large breed dog. The staff is friendly and I feel like they genuinely do care about my dog. They are a bit more expensive, however, than the other animal hospitals I've used for my other dogs.

From scheduling online to meeting Dr. Zoe & her assistant, I had a great experience taking my 7yo dog, Mischa here! This was the first time I’ve actually been impressed by a veterinarian office, with any pet I’ve had. Costs were comparable to others’ and reasonably expected for Mischa’s wellness exam, vaccines and allergy medication.

Had my 6 month old puppy spayed. All went very smoothly and she healed with no problems. I didn't have to wait at all and the staff are all friendly and helpful.

Good first visit for my cat all went well with good info and good service. Will bring Blu back again when it's time

Your pets are in good hands at Barrington Square Animal Hospital. All of the staff has been nothing but professional in my experience. My dog had heartworm in 2020 during the thick of the COVID shutdowns, but they were safe, courteous, empathetic to my dog’s fears of the vet, and extremely responsive with treatment plans. Specific shoutout to Dr Jill - she is a rockstar!

We see Dr Jen and could not be happier. She’s knowledgeable, patient and our pets love her. She takes the time to answer any questions we may have and has given us excellent advice as first time puppy owners. We won’t see anyone else!

I am not one to typically leave reviews on businesses but I felt my experience could help someone to stay AS FAR AWAY from Barrington Square Animal Hospital. My dog had been a patient on an off for nearly 15 years and how they treat their patients has changed drastically over the past 5 years. In January, my dog was diagnosed with cancer by Dr. Dan but it took nearly two weeks to discuss test results and an official prognosis from the doctor, no one would return my calls. I was finally able to speak with the doctor after I spoke with the office manager. I called a month ago to find out the process for putting a dog down at their facility, I left a message and no one called me back. Yesterday, we made the decision it was time to put our dog down and I called the office at 8:30 am to see when we could bring her in and they could only accommodate a 5:30 pm appointment, no exceptions could be made!!! I called Golf Rose and they could take us immediately, we took priority over other patients or appointments and they treated us like people who had made the difficult decision to say goodbye to our beloved family member. Barrington Square Animal Hospital treats you like you're a number and not a person. Shame on them! Stay away!

Very nice veterinary practice. They've done a great job with our new puppy.

People who are looking to do dental work. Avoid this place. There are cheaper options out there. Also a doctor's visit is $70 which they do not disclose. They stated dental work to be starting around $450 but I got an estimate for $3-4k. They are not upfront on what's needed and it is clear why. I paid a $70 office visit for a estimate and stethoscope for the lung and heart. Would never recommend this place to anyone. Parks Animal Hospital is more upfront, sticks to their prices, and more reliable than this place. I knew it was a bad practice when the tech came in telling me I needed four vaccines prior to dental work which was also not stated to me.

We have a 17 year old senior dog at home that we had since he was 13 weeks old . We made the decision to get a puppy and did not realize how things changed over the years. Barrington Square Animal Hospital was the perfect place to go. They have puppy shot packages and everyone is very nice and helpful. The Doctors take their time to explain things and why we should do certain things. The Vet techs are just as nice and when they brought our puppy out they made sure we understood everything before we left. I am confident that they will treat our HavaTzu puppy like one of their own dogs. I would not hesitate to recommend them to everyone!!!

I just took my pup, Dottie there for a grooming with Dagmara. She looks so cute and did exactly as I asked. Dottie loves her and we will be going back!!

I called this place as I needed additional assistance and my regular vet was not open. I called during office hours, yet it went to voice-mail. They never returned my call, that day, or days later. Makes me question what kind of care they provide for the pets that come through their doors.

Took my cat here due to a tiny bald spot behind her neck that was barely noticeable. They wanted me to pay almost $500 for a test and said I have to wait for the results before getting antibiotics. After telling them I just want the antibiotics because I don’t want to wait. They offered a “cheaper” test, but said results take 3-4 days. I paid around $250 and when I followed up on the results a week later, they said it’ll take two weeks now. By this point my cat’s entire back neck is bald, she won’t eat, and is lethargic, so I took her to a different vet. The vet gave my cat antibiotics and pain meds and I only paid $120. Most importantly she is finally doing better and I’m still waiting on results. If I wait any longer I don’t even know what would happen to my cat. Would never recommend this place. First vet I’ve ever been to that seems to want my money more than the well-being on my pets.
