Do not even bother going to this place. They told me to bring my dog in directly to the hospital when he was ill. I get there and they said they are not excepting new patients there is noting they can do and no one else i could talk to. Totally ridiculous and unacceptable. Places like this should be shut down.

Dr. Beisner was wonderful, she answered my numerous questions and was great with my dogs. The office staff was very helpful also.

Today was a rough day, the day that I put my dog to sleep. The decision was a difficult one but seeing my dog deteriorating was even worse. Those that are reading this message probably have pets that they take to this clinic or are trying to decipher if they're good with animals to take here. I can say that they are and I highly recommend them. They were great with my dog who was like my child. Dr Pruss was wonderful with diagnosing my dog, and I didn't catch their names but everyone I encountered working today was great as well. The receptionist on the phone, the young man and woman who checked in with us and took our dog back and prepped my dog the woman who administered the euthanasia I didn't catch any of your names because I was a total mess and was in complete shock but I thank you for your kindness it didn't go unnoticed. Your work matters and I'm very grateful to you for all that you do I know it must not be easy to see people like this at their worst.

We have the best vets here at Wheaton Animal Hospital. Whatever our fur babies get into, they get us through it all. Thank you to our vets and all of the support staff!

Worst place to bring your pet. They lack common sense.

I appreciate the care they provide for my pets. But, I am very particular when it comes to prices, markups and knowing what I am spending. I often ask for vets to write out prescriptions because I know I can usually get them filled elsewhere for a much lower price. On my last visit where I asked for this, I was given the run around and told the price is the same wherever I go. So, because I was not in the mood to dispute the subject, I went on and paid to get the pills from the vet. However, I did call the Walmart that I pass going to/from the vet to see if they carried the prescription. Not only did they carry it, but it was only $6....compared to the $19 the vet just charged me. Over a 300% cost difference. When I called the vet's office to inform them that the price was NOT the same as I was told by them, I was only offered 50% back of what I paid ($9.50). Still 50% higher than Walmart. But, "whatever" at this point ???? Like I said, I appreciate the care they give. But, if you conscious of what you spend, the make sure you are asking about prices and know where you can get pet prescriptions filled (Walmart, Sam's Club, Costco, Petsmart, 1800petmeds, etc.)

I've generally felt quite good about interactions with the doctors for my dog regarding knowledge and that they care but more and more often there is poor communication or disorganization with the staff. Notes left out of my dog's file - particularly regarding medication (so when I call for a refill, no one seems to know what I'm talking about), promises to get back to me with information only to never hear anything, etc. I don't if they've been short-staffed for the past 3-5 years when these problems have picked up or what but it definitely concerns me that something in my dog's treatment could get mixed up because of this inconsistency.

The veterinarian overall was very good and very informative. But I felt we were really over charged ($240) for a cat examination, rabies shot, and flea medicine. The veterinarian indicated the cat was fine but yet recommended several tests which seemed unnecessary. I feel they prey on people’s love of their pets in order to increase the bill. Very sad and disappointing.

The staff and our doctor were very courteous kind and the doctor was very knowledgeable in explaining our situation with our dog. Great place to take your pets.

We have been going here for over 20 years with our first and second generation pugs. The staff is so nice and very knowledgeable about pets. We highly recommend them for your furr babies.

While needing to wait in the car was a bit strange at first, it's a great way to work through the Covid restrictions to still keep everyone safe. The staff and the doctors work quickly and the level of service and care is just as good despite needing to consult over the phone. They have adjusted well!

Very friendly staff. Doctors are very knowledgable and spend time explaining everything. Never rushing through appointments. Great care. Very pleased with everything.

Our 12 year old labradoodle has been going to Wheaton Animal Hospital since she was a puppy. They recently cleaned her teeth while under anesthesia and trimmed her nails. She was well care for and I would highly recommend them to all my friends.
