K9 Tailshakers Frankfort, Illinois

My dog loves going to K9 Tailshakers, they love him so much there. My dog has gone through the training and goes their for the daycare. He also gets groomed there and the groomer does an amazing job. She is definitely one of the best groomers (and we have been to quite a few). We highly recommend K9 Tailshakers for your dog.

When we moved here 4 years ago I was very concerned about where we would board our aging pup. K9 Tailshakers came through for us then, and continues to come through for us now. The care our old girl receives is top notch, and the love showered on our pup while there is much appreciated. I never have to worry when we are away, and that is priceless! The grooming department takes extra care with our 'sometimes grumpy' girl, and she always comes home looking as spiffy as can be :)

The best!!! They are knowledgable and treat you as well as your pet with love and kindness. My dog live it there and all the people!!

I enrolled my puppy in the day training program at k9 Tailshakers. The results have been amazing! My dog now knows all the basic commands and he absolutely loved going to school 2 days a week. I loved the attention and care they gave to my dog and also the ease of communication between me and our trainer Paige and Lynn. They also groom my dog at k9 tailshakers and they always do a great job!

The training and facility staff are top notch. Absolutely fantastic balanced training approach, tips and tricks to make training easier, and overall great people to deal with. Their selection of services from grooming to training to boarding are really great. Highly, highly recommend.

Long time fan of K9Tailshakers (about 5 years ago with my dog Bernie). Today my mother went in to have her dog evaluated. Same exceptional service. Everyone one there was friendly and professional! Lynn [Gomez] is amazing! Extremely knowledgeable and a great communicator!

We started with basic puppy training and we had a great experience with Lynn. She taught us how to properly use an E-collar and came to our home to troubleshoot our specific problems. We are now using the daycare and they continue to work with our dog there. Great place and we are very happy with the staff as well.

You can rest knowing your dog is in good hands the staff is very good an they realy care for the dogs they watch I would highly recommend K9 Tail Shakers for your next trip definitely a 5 Star.

This place is Amazing!! Best training sessions I have ever had. The place is extremely clean and all employees are knowledgeable and professional and polite. The owner is caring, encouraging and awesome at what she does! So happy to have found them.

This place is pretty awesome, they just did a fantastic job grooming my golden doodle who admittedly went in a little matted. They are super friendly and provide high quality service at a great price. I’ve done boarding before and that way awesome, I also hope to get my boy there for some doggie daycare. The staff is very professional and prices are so reasonable. This place is top notch professional, they know about dogs and do their research.

They have an excellent puppy training program.

This place is amazing, had an amazing time learning to be patient with my pet an teach my pet what I wanted her to do, also to do what I wanted without using words...I recommend this place to anyone an plan on registering for other advance classes

I love this place. The employees really care about their clients. My dog gets excited whenever we get close. Recently my dog had to get taken out of daycare due to surgery. I called and left a message so k9 employees were updated about.my baby. Not even two minutes later, i believe it was kayla, calls back and asks about rosco and was very concerned. The staff are really friendly, very passionate, and they show that they care. This place is awesome. Thank you all for treating my furbaby like family

The only place my dogs go for boarding, training, or daycare. Wonderful people, and most importantly, they really do care for your dogs. If we even say the word daycare at home, both of our dogs go nuts to come visit k9. We have used them a bunch for grooming as well. We have used several places for grooming but K9 is our preferred choice. One of ours sheds a lot and other places he may still shed after being groomed. When he leaves K9 there is no shedding. They always do a wonderful job. One of ours can't stand for that long so they allow him breaks during his grooming as well. Pretty much the only place we bring our dogs for any services they have, and our dogs absolute favorite place to go.

The team at K9 Tailshakers treats every dog as if it is the most important dog there. Jan, Laura, Kayla, Jason, Max and everyone else is super. I can't say enough about the energy Kayla brings every day. I leave Wiley there knowing that he is safe in their hands. They understand dogs - the different personalities and play styles. There are so many activities, special projects and special days for the dogs. It is amazing. They help my training by reinforcing good behavior. Super place. Now if we can just talk Jan into getting a pool !! Keep up the good work - you guys are great.

These folks love dogs like you will not believe. Our dog Hailey loves this place. Its well worth the money.

Verry disappointing all they want is your money they don’t care about you or your dog I brought my dog here for training and I would ask simple questions and the trainer would always respond with “you need private lessons” and would always try an get people to but extra stuff that’s overpriced

Wow. I was hesitant at first to spend the money on dog training for my pitbull pup, but NO doubt about it, this is SO worth it. The money you’ll spend is well spent when you think of all the stress of an untrained dog. Not only that, but Lynn is so knowledgeable and literally transformed my dog from crazy and uncontrollable to manageable and sweet within the 2nd class. Couldn’t recommend more!! And I can’t wait for more classes here :)

Absolutely love K-9 Tailshakers and their staff. We take our Pickles and Muddy to K-9 Tailshakers for grooming, boarding, training and daycare! I can honestly say when our pups see us pulling up they can't wait to jump out of the car to go in they love it so much. The staff is amazing and take fantastic care of my fur babies. Lynn is an the most awesome trainer and totally goes the extra mile. She is the best! Cindy is a fantastic groomer who takes the time to do the best job and is so caring with our older dog who has anxiety issues. Jan and her team are top notch and are always very responsive. Plus, they plan fun activities for the pups like the Barkbowl and Valentine's Day parties. I can't say enough great things about K-9 Tailshakers.

I am a customer of this amazing establishment and I have only GREAT things to say. We get both dogs groomed here and the groomer Cindy is absolutely a sweetheart towards pets and people! Lynn is my Service Dog in trainings trainer and she connects with him so easily! He looks forward to seeing her every time. As for the classes it is very well managed fun and engaging not only for the dogs but the handlers too! It’s over all a family friendly establishment with passionate people who love their job. I get so excited going each time!

Rescued a dog over the summer and she needed some training. We decided on personal training which went well. When we were scheduled for our last session, the trainer was no longer available. K9 was MORE than accommodating to help us figure what we'd like to do next. We decided on the beginner's class after watching a beginner's class graduation. Extremely kind and great facility.

Love the staff and the facilities. We board and do Daycare. Would definitely recommend.
