LePar staff are very accommodating, and have taken the necessary steps to protect you, your pet(s) and themselves at this time, so that you can keep up your appointments and not worry. Dr. Mitas is our vet, and she has been wonderful. I couldn't ask for more. They go above and beyond here.

I have passed the business for years going to another Animal care Hospital. I just became aware of the location. This was due to few cars being on the road thus allowing me to notice the Hospital. The service was great and the staff was friendly. My Dog received proper care and the cost for service was fair.

We love this place....Expensive but worth every penny for our dog babies

I’ve been going to LePar for over 35 years. I’ve always found the Vets to be really thorough and responsive. They follow up next day when your critter is really unwell. Over the years I’ve brought in my strays, nurtured pets, learned to pull them and eventually put them down. LePar is there every step of the way. Office staff is friendly and helpful. Great place.

Took my pet here recently for treatment. I was initially told that they would work with me regarding payment for said treatment, and staff had a very warm/understanding demeanor. When it came time to pick up my pet, their demeanor changed from warm/understanding to cold/condescending. No longer were they empathetic to my situation, and tried to help. They were now being harsh and demanding me to “hurry up and pay or we are keeping your pet and placing them up for adoption”. I am aware pet care is not free, but do not tell customers one thing, then pull a 180 a few days later. Needless to say, they have lost a customer and I am taking my pet and business elsewhere.

I've always taken my pets to LePar growing up. I worked there for three years before moving out of state and after working there/seeing behind the scenes I can say that I feel even better about our choice of veterinarian. The staff cares about their patients/clients and always do their best to provide quality care.

I received great service from the moment I set up the appointments from both my dogs. The team was so nice and personable and attentive to what I needed for each dog. Upon arrival at the clinic I called and was greeted with another lovely individual who managed to get me seen right away despite me being early. Dr Hurley and his team of assistance gave each dog so much attention my pups loved being there. And they don't like many people. They also took the time to explain everything to me in detail. It was an overall amazing experience.

Le Par always goes above and beyond. From the client service staff, to the vet techs and doctors, they treat your pets and the clients like family. Dr. Bauer and Dr. Smothers are wonderful. They listen and do everything they can to find the best treatment. And their grooming service is five stars. Been to many around the area, and our dog never looked this good!

The vet staff is very friendly and professional. I have driven past this place several times and decided to give it a try - glad I did. The reason I’m not giving 5 stars is due to the doggy daycare/day camp area. I have sent several emails and even spoke to someone regarding making an appointment or having a manager call me back and nothing. I’ll continue to go to PetSmart for this.

First the staff that admits you is friendly courteous and efficient. Secondly the doctor was knowledgeable and informative friendly and patient with my pet.

As you may see from my review history, I am very forthright about how I feel about treatment I receive from businesses. That being said, THIS veterinary service was absolutely amazing! I am so grateful that I can now afford to patronize quality businesses such as this one. I did not choose LePar based on them having them the very most affordable services but I will tell anyone who is looking to save money that although LePar is not the #1 cheapest, it is also NOT UN-affordable. I feel very good that every dollar I spent there was well worth it. LePar has been very amenable to me every single time I called them on the phone, they were helpful in scheduling me as promptly as they were able, and the following sentences will more thoroughly describe my satisfaction with the staff on site: Ally, the receptionist, was welcoming and promptly welcomed me, greeted me and assured me that I and my dog were welcome there and that I would be served shortly. I and my beloved dog were shown into our seeing room courteously where we were shortly triaged by Arturo who was professional and quite accommodating to many questions and to hearing the background on the health of my dog. Soon thereafter the doctor came in (unfortunately I did not catch his name but he was a young man). The doctor was very efficient without making me feel rushed and he was very sensitive to helping my dog feel comfortable about visiting. This is important as most dog owners know that going to the vet can be stressful for a dog. His assistant Faith, although quiet, was very kind and warm to my dog as my dog went through his procedures. Finally, the price was very competitive although as I said before, they are not the very cheapest vet I have ever seen. Regardless, the small increase in price over the cheapest one I have seen was WELL worth EVERY dollar!

This is for the grooming service. Great job, great quality, reasonably priced and a fantastic staff.

I am impressed with every category of service at LePar: the staff are friendly, professional, and thorough; the facility is carefully maintained; but probably most important to me is the obvious concern and expertise they bring to the pets in their care. In particular, Dr. Hurley is very kind and thorough in his attention to my dog, and carefully answered all my questions. I’m glad we’re with LePar!

I went to Le Par Animal Hospital for a 2nd opinion regarding my dog Remington’s limping issue. Dr. Whalen answered all my questions, helped alleviate my fears, was very informative and gave me good recommendations. Would highly recommend him. On a side note, his staff seems happy in their work and provided quality customer service in a cheerful manner.

Dr. Smothers and the staff cannot be beat. Have had nothing but EXCELLENT care with all my visits. Very caring, tender and loving! Thank you for the kind notes! Clean, knowledgable, top-notch!

Great vet, caring. Vets are expensive. We take two dogs here. Lepar has alternative care as well. Acupuncture. Rehab. Etc...good hours. Many vets. Love them.

Dr. Bauer goes above and beyond my expectations for a helpful, caring veterinarian and I am always so grateful for how helpful and supportive all of the LePar staff is.

Good place to bring my dog.

I recently took my newly adopted shelter cat to LePar's for the purpose of establishing patient care and to get a much needed claw trim. Dr. Kenny and the techs were friendly, professional and caring. Several months ago, Dr. Smothers helped with the end of life for my nearly 21 year old cat. She and the techs couldn't have been more sympathetic and caring. The vets and staff at LePar's are top notch in my book, I always get the the feeling that they truly care about my cat. I wouldn't even consider taking my cat elsewhere.

Dr. Smothers is the best, my dog Tina loves her and pretty much the entire staff. They are all so good with their patients.

When it comes to making an appointment and who answers the phone is wonderful ,I would give them 10 stars . But on appointment day whom my fur baby was seen by such a disappointment . So sad I won't be returning to this establishment .

The Doctors are through ✔️and getting an appointment is quick✔️ but overall Unfortunately I’m not satisfied with Lepar. The Cost for exams, treatments and medicine has been pretty high $$$ as well as providing misleading information. I will be Transferring my 2-dogs to another vet.

Lepar is an incredible full service veterinarian, doggie day care and dog grooming center in Evergreen Park. This facility is run by Dr Joe Whalen and a great staff who keep the center running well. Dr. Whelan is a specialist who takes a holistic approach to veterinarian medicine. He specializes in Chiropractic care and Accupunctue. My GSD Autumn looks forward to her next visit. Im not certain as to how many vets work here but it's one of Chicago's best Vet's. Dr Whalen is an expert who understands his patients and treats each animal as if they are is only patient. I'd highly recommend Lepar to other pet lovers.

I am a dog and cat lover. I have a total of 7 animals. They all have been taken care of at LePar. I have been a loyal customer for 25 years with LePar. The only place I trust my pets for teeth cleanings and they are very careful with anesthetic procedures. I also like the fact they will titer the pet to determine if the vaccines are still protecting my pets. I have had pets for 37 years with many experiences with veterinarians. I believe LePar is above average with their up-to-date knowledge of veterinarian sciences, and the cleanliness of their Hospital premises.
