Camp Bow Wow - Elmhurst Elmhurst, Illinois

They did a great job with our pup for 2 nights and 3 days. She enjoyed her stay and was in really good hands. Would recommend Camp Bow Wow highly to everyone!

Camp Bowwow staff are super helpful and understanding. My dog loves coming there and is normally shy of people but loves the staff there! Highly recommend.

Picture this: You reserve/pre-pay for a standard room at a hotel, then when you arrive to check-in, they hand you the keys and you go find your room. When you get to your room, you discover it is a small broom closet. You then walk back to the front desk because there must be some mix up. The staff member tells you that the hotel is overbooked and because you weigh less than the other guests, they put you in a broom closet and you can’t get a refund if you decide to leave since it’s a holiday weekend… This is what happened to our dog at Camp Bow Wow. Better yet, we didn’t find out about the overbooking and small crate situation until we decided to see how our dog was doing via the webcam (Attached picture). If you have a small dog, DO NOT take them to Camp Bow Wow or you and your dog will have to pay for the poor business practices of this establishment.

I made an appointment on line but didn’t check my email to be sure it was confirmed. When I showed up they were booked and told me they emailed me this info. My bad. Yet they remained professional, took my dog anyway and even fit him in for a bath. Great staff!!!

Camp Bow Wow of Elmhurst's staff are awesome! They are so good with our dog. Our pup had giardia for the first 6 months that we had him, needless to say he was not very good at socializing. But Camp Bow Wow patiently worked with him and now he LOVES other dogs and knows how to behave with them. And He LOVES going to Camp Bow Wow. We highly recommend. =)

We had our first puppy class here and we're really happy with the experience. The staff was helpful and the whole check-in experience was easy and quick. The trainer was really nice, knowledgeable and explained things clearly and thoroughly. She even stayed longer talking with us about our training goals and objectives. Really recommended.

This place is the worst. I boarded my dog here for 5 days while on vacation and he got conjunctivitis. They did not tell me there was anything wrong with him and I only discovered it when I got home and saw his very red eye and pus oozing out of both corners. I had to take him to emergency vet which cost $224. Camp bow wow has yet to respond to his diagnosis or vet bill. They only said no one noticed his eye and it must be allergies. It clearly wasn’t!!! Avoid like the plague if you care about your dog.

Everything was amazing. It was our first time having our pup in a day care and everyone made us feel so comfortable. We love being able to see Rex on the cameras too!

We take our baby girl to camp bow-wow and she loves it, staff is super friendly specially the girl with pink hair (she is awesome ????) highly recommended this place

I might be a kid but since no one else in my family is gonna write a review, I will! My dog marcie enjoys being at camp bow wow. She has fun and everyone there is nice. I love being able to see her through cameras. Hopefully she enjoys her 9 day stay!

This place is great for doggy daycare. The wash and grooming is also good. We've not used the boarding service

I like that Cam Bow Wow has longer time allowed for spay/neuter compared to other doggy daycares in the area and that I can watch my puppy live on cameras when he plays with other dogs at the camp. The staff greets my dog by his name and is very excited to see my corgi, so he is also very excited to walk in. My dog truly loves it there and even recognizes the road when we are driving to the camp and acts very exited in the car.

We have had a great experience with familiarizing our dog to the Camp due to the great staff that really cares about their Campers.

This was Zoe's first time away from home. The camp counselors were awesome in answering all of our questions and putting us at ease. Zoe clearly had a amazing day playing with all of the other pups. We really liked that we could check up on her at any time via the cameras in the playrooms. All in all, this was a fabulous experience and we will be back. Thanks to your awesome staff.

My puppy Charlie LOVES going to camp bow wow! He’s an energetic little guy and rarely gets tired from playing but once he is picked up from a half day (we do the half day package), he’s out like a light! Then when he comes home, he’ll sleep a good couple of hours. I love that he has so much fun, meets a lot of new friends, gets well taken care of by staff, and learns his manners interacting with other dogs. The only thing I have to say is that my sister tried to call the front desk once and the lady (I’m not sure who she was or what her name is) was very rude, saying that she should not “keep calling” if they don’t answer the first time... I understand that places get busy but I don’t feel it’s right to tell a customer, while giving attitude, that it’s not okay to call twice in a row. For all we know, they might’ve not heard the call or we just want to try them again. The time my sister called, it was an urgent matter. Dogs are family members and if it’s an urgent issue, people may end up calling more than once to get an answer. Besides this experience, we really enjoy bringing Charlie here.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST! If you love your pets this is the last place you should bring them. I reported them to the Humane Society, BBB and ASPCA.

This place is one of the few that can make my nervous pitbull feel comfortable and safe. You can tell they genuinely care about the dogs there.

We've used Camp Bow Wow boarding and day care for about a year now and have nothing but great things to say! The staff is always friendly and willing to help in any way we or our dog need. I always know he's in good hands. If we have special requests, they make sure to document everything when we drop him off. My favorite part is the camper cams so I can watch our guy if I miss him while we're away. Great place for your dog to go! Highly recommended!

Our little Cavalier King Charles is always so excited to come here. Staff is nice and responsive. We’ve left her here for extended periods by purchasing a boarding package. A little pricey but worth it. Place is super clean and you can watch your dog on video from anywhere!
