my cat suddenly developed paralysis of his backlegs and tail Sunday evening . My husband and I frantically called several places who claimed to have after hours emergency services. We left messages at 4 or 5, who never called us back at all. We were told by a couple of different places to take our cat either to Indianapolis or up to U of I. Doctor Roxana talk to me and agreed on a time to meet at the clinic with our cat. Sadly his prognosis was extremely poor with a saddle thrombus and he had to be euthanized. But she took great care and showed great compassion for us and our cat. Thank you so much. Dr Roxana did discuss possible treatment options with us, the probable outcomes of each. After researching this condition after the fact, his clinical presentation was about as grim as it gets. I appreciate the fact that she was honest and didn't try to give us false hope for the sake of making money

We had been coming to this vet for 9ish years. Dr. Chad is the reason I will not be back. He says it takes time for treatment, but what that meant to me was keep bringing your dog in with no results and no discounts on visits. I made the trip to the vet office multiple times in a week for something that could have been done in one day.The rest of the staff is friendly and helpful. The previous 8 years of not dealing with Chad were nice. I wouldn't recommend taking your animals there for anything eye related. I don't have the kind of money to just pay blindly until he gets lucky. I'll be taking my dogs somewhere else.

My dog was trembling and acting like he was in pain I called like five veterinarian clinics late last night and could get no response for an emergency call until I found this place the person on call was very polite and very professional she told me she would see my dog BOBBLES if I bring him in at 1:30 in the morning ... Thank you so much for taking care of my little buddy You guys are awesome.

Refused to take a dog I found in the middle of the highway that had been hit by a car. Person who answered phone was impolite and had no sympathy for the dog. I literally called 14 emergency animal hospitals along my trip before I gave up and just took the poor baby with me. She rode in the car with me for 10 hours to Louisiana. I called the emergency veterinary hospital in Shreveport and they had no problem accepting her and helping me.

This place is great! They get me right in and their facilities for my cows work perfectly!

Vet and everyone was good with my dog, Sadie Sue. She goes in and let's them do whatever they want to her and leaves with her tail wagging.

I like the way Dr Jessi treated my kitten. Treating me like I understood upper respiratory infection Punky had and treating a squirming kitten. I will be bringing my others fur babies

I love this Veterinary Clinic! I used to take my cat to a different clinic and she never received the care that I would expect people who love working with animals to give. All of her issues were started being addressed at my first appointment a couple months back, and she is now sitting on my lap sleeping, healthy and in better shape than she has been in for a long time! I am very thankful for this clinic! Bonus points for the fact that my parents took our dogs here when I was little and we had nothing but good service back then. Good to see that hasn't changed!

Vets and staff are very caring. We have a kitten prone to seizures and I called them on Saturday morning when he kept have multiple ones. They had me bring him in and took him straight back to care for him. Very special people here.

Dr. Schultz at effingham vet clinic is the best! I’ll never take my dog to anyone else and I always recommend her to everyone. Her number one priority is the animal and doing her very best for them. She has always answered my questions and made me and pet feel important! Like I said, I will never go anywhere else. I feel confident in all care that she provides.

I love this Veterinarian office, Dr. Gratz is great with my Goats! All the Veterinarians there are very good & caring.
