Great people and our dogs love going there

The owner was really nice...they live on the premises. Our dog has resource guarding issues. The owner was okay with it. I Informed that it was food guarding. The office was clean and orderly. They were working on landscaping in the front yard when we dropped off our dog. We didn't see the area where she would be. I felt the price was reasonable. We would take her there again. The owner needs proof of vaccinations/Bordetella. Everything was entered into their computer.

The staff are very caring people. They took great care of my fur baby. I call the next day to check on her. I didn't get an answer but I left a message and they called me back which really set my heart at ease. This was my first time boarding my fur baby but the next time I come to Chicago she will be staying at Belle Aire Kennels. ❤

My puppy and kittens spend there 6 days. Looking good and healthy. My Gemma (puppy) even recieved a shower before we picked her up. Will recommend, and for sure we will be back in the future.

We took our golden doodle here for her first haircut when she was about a year old. They were able to get us in quickly and while a he was in not in the best shape, they were nice and patient with her. She was a changed dog and she now loves going back for her haircuts. The owners are very friendly, would definitely recommend.

Been bringing my dog to Belle Aire for 3+ years now. Its always hard leaving your pets behind, but it helps knowing they are in good hands and being cared for by owners who love pets themselves and really care about the animals under their watch.

I was in a bind and needed same day boarding. Belle Aire was the only kennel that was so accommodating and made the process so easy. Even when I needed to extend the timeframe, they made everything so much easier on me. They were knowledgeable and comforting that my dog would do just fine. :)

My fiance and I have boarded our dog Bobbles here for the last 3 years. He loves going here, and we know that he is well taken care of when we leave him here. Any time we call to check on our little fur ball, someone always answers the phone or calls right back. Belle Aire Kennels is awesome. We will be leaving Bobbles there again when we get married this fall.

I asked for a tour of this place and almost started crying. It was awful. Like a prison camp. The dogs were stacked in cages, barking and pacing back and forth. It was dirty and smelly. When they took me to their play yards there was one not available because a dog dug under the fence and left a big hole. How did it manage that if they were supervised? She showed me outdoor kennels were dogs were kept until they pooped. They would hose them out to clean them. Of course where all the waste was washed was into the play area so dogs were walking right through it. It was gross. The fences and gates were falling so they were held together with bungie cords. There was broken fencing. It wasn’t safe. The dogs were just standing there while an employee stood outside the area looking at her phone. I know someone who lives in the neighborhood who says at least once a week employees are looking for a missing dog. Another friend saw a dog running along Ogden and stopped to help. It escaped from Belle Aire and the employees were chasing it. Along Ogden. The place used to be boarding kennels and tried changing because of the popularity of day care. Take a tour of this place and then go to Doggie Depot to see how it’s done.

We've been boarding our dogs with BAK for almost 10 years. We are frequent travelers and our current dog has spent considerable time here. Both animals have always been wonderfully cared for. Our dog can be shy, but she happily jumps out of the car when we arrive and is so pleased to see the staff, specifically the staff member that is being maligned online. I'm sure that not all neighbors are pleased to have a kennel in their backyard. It certainly makes me question the motives of people trying to destroy a local business.

I have been using Belle Aire Kennels for almost 4 years, for both short stays and at one point for a very long stay of almost 5 months. The owners are very nice and have accommodated my dog on short notice on several occasions. The staff is awesome and knows my dog by name. My dog is normally timid and a little skittish but she gets excited every time I go to drop her off. Grooming service is rock solid as well. You can tell the owners and staff love dogs and know how to treat them.

We leave our dogs here regularly and they always come home clean and happy. When we drop them off they strain to get in there. I wonder how many people take a Facebook post at face value and are now dissing a business they really have no knowledge of.

I love to take my dog Chyna to Belle Air Kennels. My dog gets excited every time I would drop her off. It's been a year or so since we last visited. Love it and highly recommend this place. The owners are great and take pride in what they do.

Abusive abusive abusive!! Avoid !!

I've taken my cat Nellie to Belle Aire for boarding for the past 7 years. We travel fairly frequently so she is used to being there. They take amazing care of her! I have had bad experiences with other boarding facilities and when your cat returns home nervous and submissive you know it didn't go well. My Nellie always returns happy and content. She's an only pet with just my husband and me around and I think she likes the extra attention she gets from the staff and family at Belle Aire. We couldn't be happier!

My two small dogs love staying at the Belle Aire Kennels. They receive excellent care and the grooming is the best my peekapoo has ever gotten. Very accommodating and so friendly.

Took my dog here for 4 days. When they brought him to me his paws were bleeding and they werent going to say anything until I brought it up. Both workers gave fake surprised reactions to this like they didn't notice that both his front paws were stained red. I requested to see his kennel and from there I was horrified. Small cages for dozens of dogs stacked on each other in a small environment. His pen had visible blood stains that were immediately noticeable. They gave him sone thing to help the bleeding and didn't even offer anything else. I had to ask about them taking care of the vet visit since his paws were bleeding on their watch and they couldn't even explain it. I will never bring my dog back here. I genuinely regret leaving him in that horrible place. If you take your dog here, ask to see the kennels first to see what you are getting in to.

Flexible schedule and great pricing. We visited after a recent social media flare up and can only say we were very happy with the facility and service. One of our two dogs requires extensive medication and meatballs as the delivery mechanism for the pills. No hesitation on this requirement, no additional fees for his extra needs. We also got frequent updates on our extended 10 day vacation.
