I cannot rave about Brooks Canine Center enough. Brittany, Colton and their staff are above and beyond the best trainers, doggie daycare and boarding we could have ever anticipated. The happiness Duke shows when coming home and eagerness to go back is truly astounding. Knowing we can drop him off on a busy day of errands or take a nice long vacation speaks volumes. How well Duke behaves after his training is remarkable. Highly recommend!!!

Toby always has a blast and comes home happy and tired. Everyone is super nice and very quick to respond to any questions I have. We love Brooks!

I did my research on where to send my beloved Cheeto to get trained. I checked several places within the Chicago-land area and Brooks Canine Center was hands down the most recommended. When I scheduled my consultation with Colton I was thoroughly impressed. He was not trying to sell me, he wasn't trying to convince me otherwise. He was very knowledgeable and knew what he was talking about, I knew I made the right decision by booking for Cheeto to stay with them for board and train for 2 weeks. Colton brought Cheeto back home after the two weeks and he had to pick my jaw up from the floor because I couldn't believe the significant change in Cheeto. He was a great dog to begin with, but, there were minor tweaks that I wasn't able to focus on and Colton really listened to me. All the issues I had brought up during our consultation he addresses and really worked on them. I can't wait for our follow up sessions. I also can't speak highly enough of the amazing staff. I decided to pull Cheeto from his current daycare because I knew how much better he would do with Brooks Canine Center and their staff. While it's a little more expensive, you can afford to pay for better quality care. I highly recommend Brooks Canine to anyone looking for either training, boarding or day care!

They did a great job taking care of our pet while we were on vacation. Our dog seems happy and so worn out from all the fun. Very kind staff too!

My dog and I love Brooks Canine Center! Brittany is fantastic, warm, communicative, and welcoming. The staff are also very pleasant. The hours are great (7am - 7pm, closed midday for naptime), and the pricing is well worth it. I've been bringing my dog here for daycare (1-2 times a week) for about half a year and have also boarded him for a few days. He's excited to go in and comes back clean, happy, and tired. When I boarded him, they happily brushed his teeth and wiped his face. They also include a complimentary bath on the night before you pick up your dog from boarding. I feel so fortunate to have found this gem of a place.

Brooks Canine is wonderful for dogs my dog loves it there. They are always very nice I would highly recommend to anyone who has a dog to take them there for daycare or boarding!!!

We just started at Brooks with our puppy, Shira. Everyone is awesome. Super friendly, answers email questions almost immediately, love the whole experience. I’m sure Shira does, too, since she hardly wants to get back in the car when I pick her up... We already signed up for the Silver Membership! We especially want to thank Brooks enormously for continuing to be there for our pups during these uncertain times.

Like them so much I leave my dog there. Can't say more than that.

We just completed a week of board and train for our sweet lulu and know she was in a loving safe environment. Colton did a great job, spending a lot of time with us teaching us as he reviewed her training with us. Lulu is so tired this week we know that she's had a great week of play and work!

I take my 3 year old anxious pup to Brooks Canine and let me tell you... he LOVES it! My little guy is usually attached to my hip and although at first it was a struggle to get him to go with Brittany during drop-off, but each week I take him he grows more and more excited to leave me (insert tears lol!). I really appreciate the staff and how well they’ve been able to accommodate my schedule. Special thanks to Brittany for being so patient with my boy and to the staff for being so wonderful!

We just completed the five-week basic obedience course with our 3yo rescue dog, and we could not be more pleased! The overall class experience was very interactive and personalized, and we really appreciated that, especially because we didn't know how our rescue dog was going to act. Colton and Brittany were so knowledgeable, professional, accommodating and patient with us and our dog, and it is amazing to see how much progress he has already made! We highly recommend Brooks Canine Center and love that it's local to us. We look forward to working with them again in the future!

I have nothing but great things to say about Brooks, their staff and training program. My 1.5 year old terrier, George, just returned from their 1 week Board and Train and I can already see an incredible difference in his behavior. Our main issues were jumping and nipping out of excitement and wanting attention. Colton did an incredible job laying the foundation of good behavior and gave me and my family the tools to continue the training. We, of course, are still working on what he learned at home, but George is responding to the corrections and the jumping has subsided substantially. Brittany was attentive and answered all of my "first dog mom" emails promptly and kindly. She made me feel immediately comfortable at drop off as well. Colton is a dog whisperer. He is patient, kind, yet let George know who's boss. He broke things down in an easy to follow/reinforce way at our at home session and I just can't say thank you enough for taking such great care of George. Would highly, highly recommend Brooks Canine Center to anyone looking for daycare or training at a place that will treat your dog like their own.

My dog Astro has been going here for three years and now our other one, Nova. It is a fantastic place for all your dog needs. We have used them for training classes, daycare, and kenneling. The business is tucked away in a residential area, and is actually the owners house. I would recommend this place every single time.

This is an amazing facility full of dedicated people. I recently had to make the very hard decision of returning my rescue dog to the shelter. This was after a couple training sessions with Colton so he knew both the dogs personality and a little of mine. After an aggressive episode I had him come out right away and he was able to be completely honest with me that I wasn't the human for her and she wasn't the dog for me. He had no issue staying there for over an hour just talking about the situation, there was 0% judgment and 100% compassion. Once I'm healed I will try again to give a dog a forever home and will not hesitate at all to come to Brooks for any training, daycare or boarding needs we have. Thank you Colton for all of the passion you have for these dogs and for all the reassurance that I had this dog's best interests in mind.

Brooks Canine Center's daycare & boarding services are top notch! Communication & attentiveness to my dog's needs, is what Brittany Brooks the general manager & staff showed me. I can tell they took very well care of my little one, by the rapid responses when my wife and I checked in every day. They will also send you pictures of your pet, upon your request. If you're looking for excellent daycare/boarding choose Brooks!! Thanks again to Brittany and her team! We will definitely be bringing our dog back again in the future!

I teach in the area, so I was so happy to find that Brooks was so close to my work. I started taking my pup in for daycare towards the end of the school year and it's been great! Staff is very personable and sometimes gives updates during pick up. We found that my dog has some health issues and staff was very cooperative with administering medication and extra attention needed. There was also a mishap with my dog's eye (we never really figured out the cause), and Brittany was so helpful and concerned as if my dog were one of her own! You can really tell they care a lot about each dog that comes in. I can't wait to bring him back once the new school year starts up!

I am extremely impressed and pleased with Brooks Canine Center. There is nowhere else that I would bring my dog for daycare, training, or boarding. I have a Great Dane who has a lot of special needs and training attention, not to mention unique traits due to his breed. They go above and beyond in not only looking after my dog, but also helping me. The actual business owner responds to all emails and calls quicker than anyone I have done business with. When my dog had some personal issues/medical conditions going on (something dog was born with, nothing to do with Brooks Center) the owner and staff at Brooks Canine Center took extra care of him. Not only did they follow my directions and requests in regards to the extra help/attention that my dog needed, but they helped with the first aid administration and daily tasks involved with keeping my dog safe and healthy. They give excellent outside referrals, and they really care about your animal. Because of them, my dog is properly socialized, fit, happy, and able to do work as an emotional support animal. My dog actually jumps out of the car and runs up to the door at Brooks Canine Center because he is so excited to be there. I have left him there a couple times for an entire week with no problems, and often for the weekend. I am confident with my dog staying there for any length of time.

Cole is a clear and patient trainer who explaines the exercises and offers individual help and is very supportive throughout the training process.

I am throughly impressed on so many levels after working with Brooks Canine for the past year. Their dedication, calm yet direct approach with our Great Dane has been remarkable. We suffered through issues with his behavior and a genetic tail problem that which left us needing quite a bit of training and help with our schedule. He was originally suppose to be at work with us but needed daycare and extended daycare at that. Colton was gracious enough to accommodate us through this difficult time. Separately, the private training with Colton and Liz was so helpful that I felt like I learned a months worth of information in one session. I walked away feeling confident and having something tangible to work with. Thank you for all you supported us through and continue to do. The bonus is I have a place to take my dog to that has trainers who run its daycare. Other places where I took my dogs ended up being a free for all. Here I know his growth is being reinforced! For over 8 years Brooks Canine has cared for our Golden and we couldn’t be more pleased. Colton is responsible, staff are trained and treated like family. They know how to care for your fury friends. Would recommend to our family and friends.

My wife and I have been boarding our two dogs with Brooks Canine for over 8 years and have never been anything but highly satisfied. Our dogs even go to "camp" once a week there and come home exhausted and happy from playing so much! Shout out to Colton and the crew for an amazing facility. They treat our dogs as if they are their own.

My local vet highly recommended Brooks Canine Center for all their services - boarding, dog walking and training. I started with the puppy training class led by owner Colton Brooks, and I was beyond impressed with how much my puppy and family learned in only five classes. I find that while many dog trainers are good with canines, they often have trouble relating to humans. Colton was not only amazing with my puppy, but he was also patient and supportive with my young kids and me (and the others in our class). I credit Colton with getting my children more interested and more confident in helping me train our puppy, and that is truly a priceless gift. I am about to board my puppy with Colton and also plan to use Brooks Canine for dog walking as well. I really trust Colton and have already highly recommended him to several neighbors.

Brooks Canine Center came highly recommended to me through my dog's rescue (Chicagoland Dog Rescue). Ollie (my pup) is dog-reactive and we had been to several trainers who couldn't help because she was too disruptive to class. She had all of her basic/intermediate training skills down, but would go into a full-on nervous melt-down when around dogs. We couldn't go on walks without her making a huge scene and me often crying by the time we got home. The distraction classes that Brooks Canine Center holds were the best thing that happened to us. There are all different kinds of distraction "issues" that dogs have that attend these classes (compulsive chasers, dogs that don't listen off-leash, dog aggression, etc.) and it's a place that welcomed us and all of her baggage. Unlike every other trainer, the group was accepting and no one looked at my pup like she was a monster. Alex and Colton were extremely knowledgeable on how to handle her and equally important to help me calm down. They are truly vested in each dog's needs and tailor training to each dog's needs. Through training with BCC, Ollie and I are able to go on walks without crying/lunging/barking/pulling which is a miracle. Every dog deserves to go on a walk and I'm so thankful the distraction class available for us to get that opportunity. Eternally grateful.
