Ambassador Animal Hospital Clinton, Illinois

This is the only place i have taken my pets since I moved here in 2004. All I can say is THE BEST!!!

We took our dog in to see the vet on Monday,he diagnosed her with bronchitis without taking X-rays. Thursday of that week we called back and informed them our dog was in distress and breathing heavily. Their advice… sorry we can’t see her till next week we suggest trying another vet. As it was getting late we ran her to emergency vet in Bettendorf and less than an hour later she had passed from congestive heart failure. Not only did Ambassador misdiagnose her they caused more suffering but not seeing her when we called back. Unprofessional and we will never go back there again.

I don’t like that fact that we can not go back with our animals anymore regardless of what their doing because of Covid restrictions which I guess will last forever, our animals are family members and should have someone they love with them when needed. I understand when it comes to shots, nails cut but when our animals are sick we should be allowed to be there for them.

My dog had a lump on his neck that ruptured. We were panicking trying to find a vet that had some space to squeeze him in. After calling almost everywhere with no luck we called ambassador and they were able to squeeze him in and care for our boy. They did so amazing and removed the lump. We are absolutely blessed to have been able to find ambassador and have them squeeze our boy in.

Very nice people my dog had a very positive experience.

Honestly, I don’t feel comfortable how they don’t allow you to go back with your pet.

Since early in the 1980s, every pet in our family has always received compassionate, expert care here. I say that in gratitude.

We sadly put out dog down. The doctor and staff were very compassionate and helped us through the process. They served our dog well for many years. I heartily recommend Dr. Scott and his staff of caring professionals. It is evident they care very much for their "patients".

I absolutely love Ambassador! The dr and staff are truly amazing. They treat your animal like their own, I recently had my three cats have surgery there and was calling to check on them a couple times a day and they always were extremely nice, and gave great updates. They all truly care about your animal no matter what the issue is and they will do their best to help you!! I have been going here for years and will continue to do so! your animal is in the best hands here!! Highly recommended!

I called 13 different times one day last week. It would just ring and ring and ring. I finally went there later that day. There was a tiny little sign that said that the office would be closed for a certain amount of time. They should have left a considerate message on their phone, explaining what was going on for the people who are not regular patrons. I would have used them. But, I had to go somewhere else.

I have always been treated great here. The girls up front are fabulous. Especially with the volume of business that I've noticed while being in there at anytime. And they have gone out of there way to help me many times. I do alot of business here. Highly recommend them.

Stafe could have bean a little nicer on drop off and pic up but was fine
